I really liked that opening, those were some real cool clips.👍 Nice pollen and nectar going.😁 I saw eggs. Crazy bees those are nice frames of brood, they make things so difficult sometimes.😂
Looks like she is doing a good job to me, but I figured out bees are better bees them me.😂 Mine did that last season but I had poor bread queens from a crappy Spring.
Im leaning toward supercedure. Not enough bees, didnt see drones. I think i saw 2 of thise pesky small capped queen cells at 2:53. They looked like emergency cells. Thise produce stuby little queens.
When I was editing I was seeing it in a different light. There weren’t many bees and the hive was packed with nectar. I was thinking they could have already swarmed. But I’m sticking to the idea of Supersedure for now. I thought those cells were dodgy drones. I’ve never seen small queen cells. Thanks man.
Taking brood from this hive would certainly send it into a spiral. And I’m sure the box with this queen would probably fail as well. As I said in the video. No swarm.
Since you have fresh eggs (all look to be 1-2 days old) and no capped swarm cells, scrape off all the queen cells and cups. Come back in a week and you will know if they are truly trying to supersede her, or wanting to swarm. No harm in removing those cups/cells, as there are fresh eggs that can be turned into new queens (if that is the colony's true intent). They should not swarm without queen cells pheromones present.
This was the first video that did such a great job of showing the egg to larvae. Thank you so much.
You should see my other vids then. :)
Thankyou.
@@aussiebeekeeping 😂 I've been going over them and subscribed
@@joannperry4571 thank you. Much appreciated.
That is weird. Normally i see swarm cells when the beehive is packed.
I hope that if they do swarm, that you can catch them. 🤞🤞🤞
I don’t think that queen has long to go. If they swarm I might let them go
Pumping out a lot of content Stephen!
Simplified my process. Created video templates. Got editing down to 30min
I’d be concerned that there are not enough resources for them.
I’m concerned they are honey bound and that’s why they have swarm cells.

Time will tell
This 1 will bee interesting to watch what’s happening. Thanks for sharing 👍🐝🍯
You should see my next video. Chewed queen cells, capped queen cells and a virgin.
@@aussiebeekeeping awesome I’ll check it out thanks 👍🐝🍯

I don't often see drones isolated like that. I've seen plenty of stubby little queen cells that don't turn down. @@aussiebeekeeping
No swarm… find the Queen and put her in a new box… and let the rest of the hive make a new Queen

There were Supersedure cells last week I busted.
@@aussiebeekeeping If that is the case, I would just leave them then. And if she is healthy enough, she will kill the new queens.
