The ribbon covers the raw edges. The tag on her other example was different and was seen in doubles over as a tag, not to cover raw edges. She finished the edges on that mini quilt differently.

I don't understand the ribbon
I don’t understand it either. I thought it hid the ends of the binding but then she said something about a tag instead of a ribbon and I was lost.
