This is precious! I'm watching this in August but have lots of V'tine's fabrics. I'll just have to look for focal pieces. It's great to see easy projects any of us can do. ❤
Thank you for your video. I enjoy making minis, too, and usually use them as postcards! Question…I’m interested in learning what brand of thread is in your machine in this video? It looks like a 12 weight.
Yes, I try to use the smallest seam allowance I can… I have used a scrap piece that is slightly larger than 1/2”… only depends on what you can manage 😊✂️
Hahaha! Well, I can’t say I know exactly, except to say that I probably sounds worse than it actually is because I have the camera quite close. This machine is about 16 years old….! 😆
Wow! What a great way to use up scraps of fabric and pieces of leftover batting or felt… or anyrhing! Love it!!
I enjoy making fabric greeting cards and I think this would make some really fun ones! Thank you for the idea.

It’s 100% Egyptian cotton from connecting threads 🧵 it’s my favourite thread! I use it for all of my sewing 🪡
Can you use a heavy stabilizer instead of batting?
This is the most adorable thing 💕 Thank you! Where on your blog is the pp download template? I can’t seem to find it.
I can't find it either
Me either 😢
I could not find the template. How big is your batting piece please ?? It is just adorable and would love to have a go
Hello! I’m sorry you had trouble finding the template, it is on my blog, you simply scroll through to find this post and the link is provided there :)

I’m so sorry, I wish I knew. It was a scrap given to me and I only have a few pieces of it! 😩
@@berry_birdy Thank for your reply. I did find the fabric on Etsy.
I love these minis!! Do you use a 1/8th inch seam allowance? Also, about how small of a scrap fabric piece can I use? One inch?
I’m curious about the SA too 😊
