Not sure if they changed the old design but the old rear diff breather used to be a problem getting stuck. With you doing some water riding might be something you want to check into swapping out. Some go with a relocate kit i just got the alldogs rear diff breather.
Interested to see how the rough country lift is working out. I’m having a hard time finding a solid 3” lift kit that isn’t a spacer kit. I want to do coil over shocks and an add a leaf , and upper control arms. Just having a hard time finding a good set up. If anyone has any recommendations I’d greatly appreciate it
Thanks for watching Alex! I think the best way to get 3” would be to do a All dogs RC kills kit (2.5”) and a 1.5”in spacer. I’m 99% sure there isn’t a straight up 3” lift kit.
Rough country has the M1 which is supposed to be better but pricier than the N3 loaded strut 2.5". I've had the N3's front and back on mine for a couple years now with no problems at factory ride quality. I've got alldogs offroad upper arms and prg adjustable lift shackles in the rear. You need to go ahead and get camber bolts too. Rear adjustable shackles don't hurt to have options on rear height but I would get most of your lift with springs not shackles because frontier springs seem to be just good enough support for an empty bed. Give the guys at alldogs offroad a call they can tell you everything you need to know but since they don't sell rc I'm sure they won't recommend them.
Well, with the RC lift the truck will sit about 2ish inches higher than a titan swap. However a titan swap will allow for much more articulation as well as doesn’t require heavy modifications. I could go on and on but it’s essentially comparing apples to oranges.
Ooohh. Idk bout that. The bracket on the front sits about 13” off the ground (on 33’s). Probably would be enough for rock crawling. Unless you had massive tires.. Thanks watching buddy!
@4wdAdventurz Glad to see someone out there enjoying there vehicle. And don't think it would. Going to do alldogs lift and wait for someone to come out with some more.
What, you couldn't find some big puddles....ha ha! Those things were swimming pools! Nicely done!
Yeah some got pretty deep lol
well I think the Frontier did pretty dam good
Right!? Not too shabby for a base model ..

Yes! I’ve thought about this before. I’ll look into it. Thanks for watching Johnny.
Did you disconnect your anti sway bar because it doesn't look like you are getting max flex, I completely removed mine and it rides so much better
No. Sway bar is still connected

Dobinsons has a nice kit thru z1 with uca and extended brake lines
that lift looks sweet. how would you compare it to a titan swap? also, is it a 5 foot bed or 6?

Looks good man. Glad to see it held up. I do a fair amount of rock crawling. So curious if it could take that. But looks like you had a good time

You should consider getting a shackle hitch if you’re going to be doing recoveries… th-cam.com/video/Mb3BkeeXlIo/w-d-xo.html
Yeah I definitely need one
