Well it was certainly feeling well when it passed me at Reddish Mike haha! Magnificent sound and capture there, a first time for me, was delighted to catch them! Excellent shots and footage as always from you, really enjoyed, take care cheers Nick.
Splendid shot and capture there Mike! Nice sounds and livery. Good TnT and thrash too. Excellent detailing and camera work! Another gooden from you! I managed to catch the return journey of this. Very nice indeed! Really enjoyed, thanks for sharing! Take care, have an awesome day and all the best! Jamie
Blimey! The railtour gods were smiling on you when the Hoover stopped perfectly......Always enjoyed these locos. When Derby resignalling was happening XCountry had hired a class 50 in for route learning purposes. I was lucky enough to be on the station one very frosty morning just as it was being fired up. Never seen so much crud coming from a loco as it struggled to get going. I reckon Greta Thunberg would have had a heart-attack if she'd seen it...
Oh yes what a bonus at Coleshill Parkway with that unscheduled stop. I remember that time when the 50s were route training because of that big job at DY, I do have footage of that somewhere in the volts. Thanks for reminding me about that time. Cheers Mike.
I'm not into travelling on railtours at the moment Steve as I had three cancelled last year, plus I like to get on them roundabout the start which going to London would have been a no no.
Fantastic footage Mike Was that a scheduled stop at Coleshill by any chance mate ? If so that was very handy for you, and gave us the chance to take in the sound of that thrash on departure. Thoroughly enjoyed, cheers 👍Colin.
No Colin it was unscheduled which was a great bonus for me, just a shame it was so windy, but I was very pleased with what I got yesterday which fitted in so well as it was a special birthday for my wife. She took all the family out for a great meal to a posh hotel in the Warwickshire countryside.
The distinctive sound and sight of a class 50 is still fantastic 😀🎉👍🏽 great filming.
Indeed it is mate, pleased you think the same as me.
Great catch and lovely camera work there Mike, nice to see the 50 out on tour, cheers Steve . 🎥🙂👍
Thank you Steve, yes I was pleased I could fit the two shots in with the busy day I had. Mike.

Something was wrong with it as it was 50 mins late when it got to Euston. ATB Mike.

@@antman09ful1Anytime Mike, yes went to Stockport and it was very windy and wet all of a sudden haha, but worth it!
Nice captures of the Class 50s on both outward and return legs. Cheers, Jeff.
Many thanks Jeff for checking my footage out, hope you are all well. Cheers Mike.
Great video Mike, you just can't love the sound of a class 50. Good capture, well done 🤓
Very true that Tony, and getting that unscheduled stop was a bonus. Mike.

Double thrash was awesome
thanks for your agreement Josh.
Some great footage, yesterday was quite the day for railtours with both the class 50 duo and the crompton duo heading up north
Yes it was and the blue Pullman was through the West Midlands, thank you for watching my video.
Lovely to see the 50s out on the network working hard. Plenty of work for them in 2024 too by all accounts.
Well they are better on long trip then sitting in a yard, cheers for your comment.
