What a day of Freight Train Action around London.

- We had a great four and a bit hours around London filming freight trains and there are no container traffic in this video.

Excellent video there Mike!! I do always love love being in London and doing some filming about! So much to see there especially freight!! You got some great variety here as well as a nice addition of the 67 there as well!
Some brilliant freight action from London Mike, and strangely enough it makes a nice change to go out and film plenty of freight without containers taking centre stage. Thank you Nick, I haven't been out yet this week apart from doing a gig in London yesterday when I did nip out while the band was doing a soundcheck and filmed a redshed for you.
So I'm going out tomorrow but no megger miles away.

Harrow and Wealdstone on the euston Watford/wcml lines and Willesden Junction where this line, west London line join the north London line
Kensington olympia and clapham junction
Hither green in South East london
Stratford in east london
Acton main line in west london by acton yard
Would be good starting points

Why aren't they called goods trains anymore, they were called that when I was a kid,
My young son like freight trains, is there an app or a website where we can see track movements so we can go and see them? Thanks.
I've been trying to catch that biffa 66 I've seen it multiple times stabled at Peterborough but never working me driving a bin lorry I'd love to catch it out and about

Something different from class 66 hauling containers can be found if one looks for it
Aggregate traffic car transporters and oil tankers as 3 given examples (even if 66 hauls these trains)
