I’ll be honest, I actually have a bit of a fascination with old IOS and Android games. Especially games like this that are made by big publishers. It’s rather unfortunate that it is next to impossible to get these games on iOS devices unless you have an old jail broken iPhone and have the appropriate files. For that reason it seems like there isn’t too much of a preservation effort to keep these games accessible. (And to be fair, they’re certainly not the best games out there and it requires a lot of effort just to be able to get them playable) Great video as always STiP0!

I have Bioshock purchased on my account, I could redownload it even long after it was delisted, but not play it. Every model of iPhone and iPad that could run it could be updated to IOS 7, which can't run it. So you need one that's never been updated. Good luck finding one nowadays But the brief time I could play it, it was a really good version, believe it or not. It was a proper, full port, though it had a quirk where jumping was automatically done when you reached something you needed to jump over, and couldn't manually. Not a lot of people seem to have it, considering it was $15, and dropped to $11 on sale. Then it vanished. That's pricey for a phone game, and annoying to me because I couldnt even access it for more than a year.

Dead Rising 1 brings me back to a time of peace in my life. I really wish life was easier and we were just discussing about a brand new amazing DR game, but at least we have you to stay in wonderland in the good ol' days and I'll stay there forever.
When you said the thing with the car and the tunnel, i remembered that ir happened in Chop till you drop as well, but in a less restricted way, you still have the tunnels near complete and even tho you can't exit the car, it feels more fun to play instead of the point a to point b feeling in the iPhone version
Chop till you drop was a surprise for me. I didn't have a xbox and wanting to play that game. I only had the wii and I really enjoyed the fact that it was like resident evil 4 but open world with more freedom. I know i sound crazy, but I really enjoyed the title. For what it was.
If this game has any merits, it's that they let you play as Carlito, Brad and Jessie. I kinda wish they kept this in the later main series games. I would have loved to have played through 2 as Rebecca, or 3 as Annie.
I remember me buying this back when it first launched and I actually thought it was fun, back then I didn't have any consoles, let alone a gaming pc. Simpler time
I remember this being 6.99 on the apple store. I finally got enough to get it, and it was pulled. Cool to see it years later on your channel. Now, you have to do the Wii version (chop till you drop).
old mobile games (especially from the 00's-10's era) are honestly almost always kind of fascinating to me and I wish/hope more efforts to preserve them are made even just as curiosities. There's an old Transformers G1 RPG that's structured kind of like an episodic Fire Emblem of sorts that i'm hoping was saved somewhere. Especially for things like this, even if this is bad it's fascinating to see that it exists. And it's fun looking at the differences between the real games and these chopped down mobile "imitators" or whatever you'd call them. I'm reminded of Street Fighter 4 also getting a 3DS port of all things. On the matter of the actual video, assuming this is the latest version I wouldn't be shocked if someof those closed-off areas might've been planned for updates but they never got enough dev time to do it (assuming this wasn't just pumped and dumped onto the app store)
Somehow missed this upload of yours. I remember getting my first iPod touch in like middle school and getting dead rising on it since I didn't yet have a 360, and I enjoyed it at the time. Honestly I'm pretty sad that its no longer playable for the sake of nostalgia. And frank looks like a scuffed max payne. Side note, the Wii version really stressed me out because of the dogs and birds.
Awesome video. I’m glad you were able to preserve its memory, I liked having dead rising on my phone and it sucked when I had to update my phone and lose it.
@@TrollGarlic Anything at or below iOS 9.3.5 will guarantee you old iOS gaming. iOS 10 was the OS that killed 32 bit CPU structures that a lot of old games depended on, so getting a 2nd Gen iPad or an iPhone 4/4S is your best bet.
@alex khan What you're propably thinking of is installing IPA files. Unfortunately, most old games have an expired "certificate" and will not launch when installed this way. Instead, get an Apple ID that previously owned the game and check the "Purchased" section in the App Store. But, another thing to note is that most old games are optimized for 32 bit Processors. iOS 10 being the update that killed of 32 bit support, will propably not play any older games. So I'd suggest a device between iOS 6 and iOS 9 for old games.
I’ve been looking forward to this since I found you way back in 2016, this is incredibly interesting to finally see how everything works now. Good hearing from you as well
Gotta give it credit, having so many zombies on Screen for a mobile game is impressive, since other Zombie games at the time and even now, don't put as many on screen, or resort to the Call of Duty Zombies formula, and make them Round Based or a selected number at a time, with remaining zombies spawning in. Here though, they're all over, and actually Flood the underground area. Pretty cool stuff. It reminds me of when we got the World War Z mobile game back when the movie released. Sure you couldn't fight zombies on the move, instead being like Pokemon, where you walk around and randomly you trigger a Zombie fight sequence with like 10 or 20 of them coming at you, then there was the Helicopter section of the game where you shot at the swarms on the street, with actual Zombie towers building up to get it the survivors.
I will forever be thankful for the Wii port of Dead Rising. Without that game I would have never gotten into the series. At least not as early as I was. It is a worse version, but for many of us it was better than nothing

@@STiP0 can you show us how to download this game on mobile
@@STiP0 oh ok well I still have a rom game of dead rising on phone on dolphin emulator for Wii
Your wish has been granted (kind of)
I remember this game being a fun time killer while at work, however I never actually bothered with the tasks and would just kill zombies lol.
Well that was a fun watch and glad to see ya finally be able to drop it.
Jessie picking up the bench and hauling it around in the end was hilarious.
I’m really happy you uploaded Stipo
This is exactly how it would look and feel if it were released on the PS1
Since all phone games suck, I would actually enjoy this
Chop till you drop was a surprise for me.
Babe, wake up! New STiP0 video!
I remember me buying this back when it first launched and I actually thought it was fun, back then I didn't have any consoles, let alone a gaming pc. Simpler time
The good thing about the game is you can play as Brad and Jessie. For the first time, as a Psychopath aswell
I remember downloading this off Cydia during lunch break.
Do you think you’ll ever cover the dead rising movies?
when i was a kid for some reason i used to enjoy this because i never had a console but now i see how it is ,The true is that i feel so nostalgic.
Funny seeing you in my Recommended STiP0 lol, great video
I remember this being 6.99 on the apple store. I finally got enough to get it, and it was pulled. Cool to see it years later on your channel. Now, you have to do the Wii version (chop till you drop).
To me, it Looks Like the Best Part of this port is Fact you get to play as Carlito.
old mobile games (especially from the 00's-10's era) are honestly almost always kind of fascinating to me and I wish/hope more efforts to preserve them are made even just as curiosities.
On the matter of the actual video, assuming this is the latest version I wouldn't be shocked if someof those closed-off areas might've been planned for updates but they never got enough dev time to do it (assuming this wasn't just pumped and dumped onto the app store)
yooooooooo I noticed the 1.0 version of Dead Rising Mobile isn't on Internet Archive, only v1.20, so I'm posting it there.
Instead of “Dead Rising”, I’m naming this “Frame-rate Dropping.”
Playing as Jessie is nice, totally the best Waifu imo
Awesome video. I’m glad you were able to preserve its memory, I liked having dead rising on my phone and it sucked when I had to update my phone and lose it.
Could I ask how you got this game running? If only for pure nostalgia's sake, I've been trying to find a way to play it.
I just have my old highschool iPhone with the game on it!
Same, I have an Iphone 5C, but I cant find the game, and Im not sure if 5C would work.
@alex khan
What you're propably thinking of is installing IPA files.
@@mark030a Hm. I heard that Iphone 5C was 32 bit, but I’ll believe you
It’s hilarious how that all the weapon moddels that appear in the invitiory are the re4 guns
Have you ever asked capcom for a tgs build?
I’ve been looking forward to this since I found you way back in 2016, this is incredibly interesting to finally see how everything works now.
Good hearing from you as well
Love your videos man the dedication to dead rising is unrivaled and much appreciated!!
Yeess I’ve been looking forward to this since your community post about it!
"DR1 Shopping Mall" broke me
Excellent use of the vin diesel clip
Stipo I tip my hat to you you have the heart of a saint sacrifice you time for us makes me wanna cry
A new STiP0 upload? What a glorious day!
All my homies hate hunger systems in video games. If you want a realistic hunger system, try not eating irl, ya dingus 😒
I think it's kind of charming. It's like an alternative reality where this is the framework for a ps1 port of the game or something.
I almost want to play it just to experience it first hand...
I remember playing this on my moms phone all the time
I didn't have the Bell icon clicked and missed out on soo much of your content, I hate TH-cam
Ah yes, my favorite Dead Rising character:
*SEDAN*
I will forever be thankful for the Wii port of Dead Rising. Without that game I would have never gotten into the series. At least not as early as I was. It is a worse version, but for many of us it was better than nothing
This gives me deadly premonition vibes
Thank you for keeping Dead Rising…undead STiP0! I love your videos, hope you never stop!
I remember playing like 5 minutes of this game as a kid, hating it and uninstalling it.
I hope you cover the java game if you haven't already, it's a bit simplistic but that version always lingers in the back of my mind.
Java games are almost always fun. Even if simplistic, they had actual care put into it. I miss those days, man...
Now, one would think that over time, mobile gaming would improve.....but oooooh boy...
12:52 that zombie on the right be running like them titans from aot.
I remember playing this as a kid, it was mad fun but at the time i didn't have much standards.
I mean, Chop til you drop was my first dead rising and i loved it lmao.
This game gives me weird vibes of that one spinoff where you could play as Frank, Chuck, Katie and whatshisname in capcom outfits and do missions and whatnot. Maybe they were inspired by this old game?
Isn't that the DR3 DLC?
@@MountainMemelord Is it? I thought it was also released as a full game too
HIS NAME IS NICK RAMOS
@@barktrap Im so sorry Im a fraud ;~;
always an amazing day when Stipo uploads
I remember playing this as a kid. Such a painful game
The problem with the wii version is that the will make the wii fans work hard and sounded like a hair dryer.
