Such a great game. Sadly I was an hour away as a kid from getting the 7 day survivor achievement when my 360 got the red ring of death. Never tried ever again as was too scared to after that
Yeah my idea with the series is picking up where I left off so I assume most viewers know the game too. Or at most just want a small reminder about the story.
Something I found out while playing recently is if you look away from survivors that are following you they get stuck all the time. Also the game spawns basically no zombies if they are off camera so if you know your way around the map, run around looking behind you so you can constantly see the AI. This substantially helps their tracking and since only 1-2 zombies spawn infront of you (since infront of you is off camera) it drastically reduces the changes of them getting into a fight. This strat helped the reduce the frustration of the game alot.
This did not happen with me. Every time I looked behind me to the survivors, 20+ zombies would spawn in between them, killing all my survivors. Fuck this game.
Using the "Go there" feature also seems to make their movement pattern a bit better it seems. They can still get stuck, but sending them forward allows you to help whoever is stuck while the rest of the posse proceeds.
zombie spawns are tied to FPS, so on PC you can use a program to lock down fps to 30 or 20 and that way way less zombies spawn. You can also do the opposite if you are going for that 64k kills achievement, unlock the fps and put graphics on minimum and a lot more zombies will spawn
Is this one of those "marathon" achievements, like the Guitar Hero, "Bladder of Steel" playing every single song in the game back to back (which takes about 7 hours)
This game is phenomenal because 'as I recall' you could not spare a SINGLE second to get that perfect run and had to do everything - exactly perfectly. Despite the fact this is a big open world game I really loved that hidden dynamic.
You have a shit ton of extra time if you know what you’re doing. I did a “perfect run” without killing a single zombie and only one case in the whole game was close to failing and now that I know what I’m doing I bet I could do that case with a couple minutes to spare.
If you know every aspect of the game it's very easy and you have plenty of extra time on a "perfect run". Gotta know what magazines to prioritize and with what weapons. You can run the whole game with just the small chainsaws if you have all 3 magazines entertainment, criminal biography, and engineering. With all 3 magazines you can kill 2160 enemies and you get 2 from the boss fight.
17:28 "I always thought it'd be a waste of time because it'd be too hard. But after doing it, I realized the real waste of time was just not trying." Damn video topic aside I've never seen a phrase as inspirational as that
The truth is its not hard though.. You can beat it while being mostly afk. Just have to check once in a while and eat a item.. There are a lot of safe spots in the game.. Found that out very quickly when I played it around its release.
I didn't do it as I didn't want to risk leaving my 360 on for so long that it overheated, otherwise I would have done it. You basically just get some food, stand on a pole somewhere, eat, that's it.
@@holliswilliams8426 Yep, I was in the middle of a multi day run twice in early 2007 only to have it freeze on the roof with Jo each time. Was tempted to buy one of those 3rd party fans that attach to the hard drive slot on the original 360 model to attempt another run, but decided that the mediocre reviews from many said it might not even make a difference. So a year and a half passed without any further attempts until Oct 2008. Fortunately (or unfortunately depending on your perspective) my friend borrowed the 360 to play Mass Effect and it RROD. I was actually happy as the 3 year repair window was soon to close (got it in Dec 2005) so not only did I get a solid refurb that works smoothly to this day, first thing I did was see if 7 Day Survivor was an option now. Got it first try after the system was mailed back! Even though the experience was much as you described (with myself going to do other stuff for 19-20 mins often; cut it pretty close one time as well…) it wasn’t too boring overall. And for newer fans of the game, it’s very nice indeed that the PS4 and beyond ports have neither issues with overheating nor do you need to do it one go, what with the “sleep/suspend” feature on each.
@MVPugsley I always find it baffling that people are so eager to find something to disagree with that they have to strawman an innocuous comment when there are probably a hundred comments on here that would have been a better candidate for disagreement. Sign of the times, I suppose.
I really appreciate the subtitles on the screen. They helped retain my attention, and I always use subtitles whenever I can. Moreover, I often have difficulty making out some words no matter how clearly someone speaks so i'm glad you added them.
fr, im sitting here eating cereal out of a cup at 12am whilst playing rocket league, and I just hear this man drop the most touching and strongest quote ever
I still have a fond memory of spending a summer day going for this achievement, sitting in the park on that same awning, trusty pizzas by my side. It's definitely a marathon achievement, but when you get it, it's so satisfying. Love Dead Rising.
It was really wholesome that your friends kept you company throughout your achievement run. Wished I had that when I did all soulsborne plat run. Just earned a new sub man!!
I platted every souls multiple times (and on multiple platforms lol), some I had friends with me but mostly I didn't. Now I speedrun them so my gf can watch, she'd never seen them so gives me another reason to replay
Was one of my most played games on my 360. I can remember the day i got the achievement for killing the entire population of the town (Zombie Genocider) very vividly since it took me an entire day to do. Only had dial up so took forever to get a guide, the slogged through the whole process step by step on a snow day. Still one of my favorite games from this generation
@@dasdough yeah was driving around in the tunnels under the mall. As far as I know that’s the only real way to achieve it, then again has been quite some time once I played
So fun fact, 4:49 yeah, that is Steve Blum. Fun fact again, he actually voiced *two* psychopaths, the sniper dad and cliff, the war vet with the machete you fight in the tool shop. He's always fun to hear in any game, lol
Zedonius in Ninja Gaiden II will always be my favorite role of his. His role as that rogue warlock in Diablo III made a fairly dull storyline fun for a little while as well.
fun fact, og 360 version when we got it- we couldnt read the speech text dialogue because the window and text were super fuckin small, even when we had a 720p flatscreen you still couldnt read it
@@votpavel Yep, definitely a thing for certain TVs, and even though I didn’t have a CRT anymore in 2007, I think I just persevered best I could. Nothing really important is printed in that manner really anyway, unless going for the “Transmissionary” achievement?
This gives me serious nostalgia. Reminds me of being a kid with my brother and gaming all these old titles and achievement hunting. We're going to get together this summer and do it all again after seeing these videos. Thanks for that man
Doing something that seems impossible seems like a waste of time but sitting there waiting to do it is an even bigger waste of time - Straydog That's actually inspirational 👏
Small tip from my time playing on X360: When using firearms, point Frank towards the enemies/enemy you want to hit and tap the attack button. Frank will automatically aim at a target in front of him and fire, usually without missing, killing zombies with 1-2 bullets. Bosses can sometimes dodge or be missed, because of their erratic movements. Don't count on headshots every shot, but it turns Frank into an aimbot and doesn't require you to deal with Resident Evil aim controls.
I remember the boss fights being pretty much impossible till Frank leveled up. Spent my first 'playthrough' ignoring the missions and grinding for xp. Loved every minute
lol, I had specific strats set because of this exactly, first grab shotgun at the start to use on the convicts later, then get their browning machine and kill the cleteus
His comment at the end about not trying, when specifically talking about gaming made me emotional. This has been a tough year for my want to play games in a more open way rather than going for what I already know. Games ive either played before or know the outcome to. Whether you meant to or not. You’ve inspired me, I’m going to go beat the games I should’ve beaten when I was a kid. Hats off man amazing video
I never played Dead Rising when I was younger, but I’ve heard about how difficult 7 day survivor is. Props to you for going back to 100% this game, plus all the time spent editing this video.
What a great video. Such a one of a kind game. Some of my best memories with my older brother, we spent weeks getting the achievements when we were little. R.I.P big bro, this one hit at home
Lost my twin brother recently and some of our best memories come from gaming, funny enough it's actually the last thing we did together. Not knowing that day would be the last time I'd see him. RIP to your brother and stay strong 💪 until we get to see them again one day ❤️
I also did. The last 2 were probably the 5 and 7 day survivor achievements, and really, they _weren't_ so hard with the right strategy. It just took hours to get them.
Hey I just discovered you through your nostalgia drive videos. I gotta say I absolutely love them and how it feels so sentimental to you. It takes me back to when I was a kid playing these games. I absolutely would love to see more videos of you going back to play games to get the achievements you never got. It put a huge smile on my face to see you play dead rising. I still remember trying to go for the seven day survivor achievement and failing at it. But to see someone try it 15 years later just takes me back.Amazing video and I love your content so far.
Just platted this last night. You were spot on for the wiki advice for the final boss, damn near all of it was useless. I will say, opting for the double lariat spin worked the best, at the worst it just chipped away at Brock's health if it didn't land a full hit.
There's something to be said about returning to a game and finally accomplishing something that you really wanted to, but never did. I recently returned to Black Ops 3's multiplayer and for 2-3 weeks I grinded until I was able to unlock a gold suit for one the specialists (Battery's, in case anyone's curious) It was something I really wanted to do back in the game's life cycle, but gave up on out of frustration. It haunted me for years, and finally doing it brought me a weird sense of peace, lol
I did this Post and the Skulltulas, spent years of my life trying to get that. The one in the hidden cave area in Zora's Domain was very special, I remember standing and looking out at the sunrise and over the water where Jabu Jabu was after collecting the token.
I been playing bo4 tryna get to max prestige , I gave up on Bo4 early on bc I was very bad at it and doing the zombie Easter eggs . It’s been fun now , I’m not as good as some of the max players but I’ve come to appreciate it
Agreed. I think I dreaded these two more, but in the end it was mostly just waiting on a roof with a stock of food. Dick around on the internet or with a handheld game system while keeping an eye on the TV for when you need to eat, make sure to avoid the glitch/crash area when on a food run, not a huge deal. Transmissionary was a much bigger pain. Granted I imagine the Survivor achievements are much more of a pain if you actually go out and fight zombies all the time, but that would get just as tedious as the waiting after a while. The combat isn't THAT deep.
The reason this achievement is as annoying as it is, is not because there are so many and they are easy to miss, but the fact that there are very specific scenarios that some of the calls will only be received in.. very easy to miss a couple throughout your playthrough.
@@MemeAlchemist I got every achievement in Dead Rising, and I don't remember Transmissionary being difficult. I'm sure I went by a guide that I found online, though.
@@101Volts precisely, following a guide makes it as easy as anything. But good job on the 100%, I also have done so.. Quite the challenge. It's rewarding to know you have one of the hardest achievements in history lol
Agreed. Transmissionaey and Saint were the hardest. 7 Day Survivor was only tedious because you couldn't save so it was 14 consecutive hours of gameplay or leaving your Xbox on to get nice and hot while you paused it.
I remember in 06 in 10th grade playing this.. everything was so new to see.. was unheard of to talk to your friend through a mic.. the smell of the Xbox 360 when it’s hott.. heading the achievement pop up.. finding out what they were.. seeing other people on your list playing other games.. what a fun time man
I was so close to getting this achievement one day. I was on the end of Day 5. Had myself stowed in the meat locker with a ton of high healing items and magazines. Unfortunately I scrolled through my catalog too much and accidentally read a magazine instead of eating at the last second and wound up dying from starvation. I was absolutely heartbroken and haven't touched the game since.
Yea, close calls like that really aren’t worth the risk, given that there is roughly 17 total days of food if you kill all psychos and suchlike. So while it takes like 22 mins for a level 50 Frank to die, best to just eat at 20ish mins to play it safe.
Something similar happened to me, I was on 1 health bar after fighting the cultist boss in story mode. I was trying to be careful, so I was giving weapons to all the survivors. I then gave a bowling ball to the mustached man wearing green. You know how the survivors typically pose after you give them a weapon? He hit me with it.
Yes. This brings back some painful memories. I have 43 out of 50 Cheevos. The last 7 hardest ones to finish as well. Doubt I’ll go back and do it though
that clutch on day 2 in the transmissionary run was insane dude, i always have a huge struggle on it whenever i play the game and try rescue the movieland survivors.
So many great things about this video... the appreciation of one of the best games ever made, the subtitles that probably took forever to edit, and the dedication for one of the most dreadful achievements ever. I'll definitely be watching your other content, this was good
My favourite game as a teenager. Still on the edge of my seat watching. I loved the time limits and sense of urgency. Good job on getting the acheivements. The only ones I never got was 5 and 7 day survivor, hated that game mode.
Dude, there are so many memories from this game that have stuck with me that I must've forgotten. I hope wherever you're at you feel achieved not just by getting all the achievements in Dead Rising but also by knowing you've reminded a bunch of people of the kickass memories we all share
dude, that video was so amazing. the gameplay, the editing, even the things you said, everything was incredible. thank you so much for making that bro.
I remember getting this achievement when the game was new, wrote out the chart for all the survivor spawns, had a rough route to patrol the map and minmax the food, set timers on my watch for when I needed to pay attention to eat. At the time I got it the leaderboard had only about 200 people lasting longer than me, pretty sure I threw not long after getting it.
Also, 7 day survivor was my proudest achievement. I went to my friends house to get it. I stayed up long enough to get the 5 day, but then got way too tired and decided to sleep. But like a month later I decided it was time again, went back to my friends house, stayed up all night. And when he woke up I had finally gotten the achievement. So when you look at my 360 achievements you can see theyre a month apart lol congrats dude, not many people have 7 day survivor (legitimately that is) youre a part of an elite group of dead rising enthusiasts! Welcome to the club!
Thank you for the subtitles, i have issues with auditory processing so subtitles are super helpful and make it super accessible for others too! Great video, keep up the good work!
The fact that this game still is relevant after these years is amazing And I'm still trying to get 100% for the game I tell you I'm jelly that you went back to finish it
I finally got around to seeing this video, I am so glad you beat this game, now i wanna play this game again to get all of the achievements. Good luck on your other videos like this and pray for your ever divine strength for them.
I'm glad this popped up in my recommended. Def brings back memories of this game. I had a lot of hours on this game when it came out in 2006. I remember grinding the kill challenge for the mega man blaster.
Man the 7 day survivor achievement takes me back. I remember when I attempted it several years ago. Fell asleep with console and died to hunger. Immediately tried again the next day and it took my brother and I playing board games on the floor until it popped.
I actually did this achievement twice....once for me and one for this chick who wanted the achievement as well...she gave me her gamertag to use so I could unlock it...afterwards she asked what I wanted for getting it for her and I said nudes jokingly but to my surprise she actually did send nudes of her lol....good times 😏
Even with a guide, I believe 7 Day Survivor took my 3 attempts to finally get. Was SO happy when it finally popped and was then inclined to see how much longer I could last but got so sick of the game by then that I just had to quit it at that point. This video brings back such great memories. I remember playing it in 2007.
I haven't played the latter two, but I greatly appreciate Dead Rising 2 being way more forgiving about spending time screwing around/not getting every single quest lined up. It was a fair rebalance in my opinion.
This is my favorite game ever and I've essentially memorized the whole thing, but the 5 and 7 day achievements are the only ones I haven't gotten on any console. I'm working on it now! c: Also if you get close enough to a survivor the game will act like they're under your watch even if you haven't talked to them; you can just walk away and they'll die shortly on their own. You didn't need to actively kill everyone, haha.
One time I started this achievement completely legitly, I was a few hours in, chilling in the jewelry store with some down time - 0 zombies in sight… I go on my bed to just relax for a bit cuz I had to wait a while… look at computer, zombie is half way eating me. I bolt off my bed to escape anddddd too late he killed me. But yes I did return later and get the achievement
Dead rising is still one of my favourite games of all time. From the first time I saw my dad play it when it first came out till I got myself a copy at age 9. I've finished the game countless times, got most of the achievements, found most of the secrets and I still love the game even after almost 16 years. Only problem is obviously a lot of aspects of the game havent aged well at all like the survivor AI being terrible lol. But besides all that it was the first zombie game I ever played and kicked off my love of zombies and my uncle who passed from epilepsy a few years ago loved playing it with me so it will always hold a special place in my heart
This was honestly so much fun to watch and made me want to replay Dead Rising. I had a ton of fun playing it back in 2010 and I want to do it all again.
Always rad to see people cover the first Dead Rising, regarding what about it you’re showcasing it. Dead Rising 1 and Dying Light 1 are my favorite zombie games of all time, so I always get delighted seeing people revisit DR1, as old as it might be, it’s still an incredibly fun game. Awesome to see you go back and snag all of the achievements, I never did get to 100% it on Xbox 360 due to the red ring taking my Xbox out. But I did 100% the game on the PS4 via the port.
One of my favourite games, so good I played all the others that I knew weren't nearly as good. This game also kicked off my achievement hunting so needless to say I got 1000g on this and it took me a while but it made me explore and know the game like the back of my hand which is probably why I love it so much.
Same, it's funny looking at achievements for games nowadays and thinking "yep, definitely wouldve grinded the fuck out of that one as a kid" but as an adult I'm like "hellll no."
Fantastic video. Stumbled upon you on TikTok a while ago and I have been hooked. You're criminally underrated and I really hope you get the recognition you deserve. The vibe and aesthetic of the videos and the nostalgia they provide for me is unmatched. You are an amazing creator and I will be sticking around forever.
Just beat 7 Day Survivor, even had a similar experience since some of my friends wanted to jump into a chat with me to keep me company. Never would’ve managed to do it without this video giving me the drive to sit down for 14 hours.
I really enjoy your videos! I love watching people play old games just to get those last couple of achievements they couldn't get when they were younger. It just brings me back. ty and keep up the great work!
Incredible dude! I'm glad you did it! My friend loves this game and I remember him and I sitting around with it for a while and how hard it is. It's funny how good you got at with the progression to help you reach the final achievement. I enjoy tough challenges, but I think the devs were sadists.
17:22 damn man I really have to think about these words, might be some of the first motivational advice I've ever gotten in my life that's really cut through, thank you
Thanks for the nostalgia man. I 1000G'd this game about 10 years ago and your video brigs back memories of such a great childhood game. I have to admit I did the achievements in a much less brutal way than you (I never had to kill any survivors) but yeah, that 7 day survivor is a bitch. The hardest thing about that achievement was just making sure I'm back to the Xbox before I starve to death as that achievement is basically just waiting around for 7 days making sure to eat something everything 20 minutes
Same here man. I think as of next fall will mark 12 years when I got my 1000g in this game. Just thinking that we both did this well over a decade ago is absolutely insane.
The intro is exactly what I been trying to do ! Okay the games I didn’t when I was a teenager . I’m 20 and about to be 21 and I didn’t get to fully enjoy that time . Only had access to Skyrim and always thought of doing a series like this !
Was awesome seeing this completed. I played the hell out of the 360 version back in the day but never bothered going for these achievements. So there's a nice bit of solace watching you do it.
such a good video dropped a sub, i'm looking forward to seeing you cover more videos with this style as you scroll through your decade long backlog for achievements
Hey, as a hardcore achievement hunter this was a very entertaining watch and I'd absolutely watch more of this type of content from you, shoutout to the youtube algorithm
This brings back so many memories. I played the game when it first came out in August 2006. First playthrough I ended up getting ending C only because I missed a step to get the true ending. At the time I didn't know any better so I left the game alone. July 2007 was when I decided to beat it and try to 100% complete it. The last two things for me to do were the 5 day and 7 day survivor achievements. Deadrising will always remain as my favorite zombie game of all time. Years later when the game re-released on Xbox One, I played it again to 100% completion just for fun of it. :)
“That was the longest five seconds of my life” That is super fucking relatable to anybody who had gone achievement hunting! That earned you a subscriber XD
I wanted to say that your words at the end gave me the push to 100% Red Dead Redemption 2. Thanks to you, I got to say a final goodbye to Arthur Morgan. Love the videos man.
Now I want to 100% red dead 2 I’m on chapter 6 of my third playthrough and I’m planning on doing as much as I can before the epilogue but I don’t feel very motivated, however now I feel like I could. Except it’s 3 AM right now so I can’t
Love the content! This is my first vid I found and I loved every second of it! Love the way you filled the time, explaining what was going on, along with what needed to be done. On top of all that the nostalgia that I had watching you run through this game was amazing. Keep up the amazing work!
Amazing and oddly inspiring video! DEAD RISING was the reason I bought a 360 back in 2006. I got 940G on it. Needed the 'Rescue 50 Survivors' achievement and the Survivor Mode ones. Might go back and give them a go one day!
Doing this rn! 3:21 in, still have all food in the mall. I think we got this. Mega buster is the god send, pair that with triple upgrade chainsaws and you’re pretty much a god
That ending was so poignant. Almost expecting you waiting until the (in-game) sun rose to increase the poetic nature of your nostalgia. The most beautiful sendoff to accentuate getting an insanely tricky achievement.❤
The 7 day survivor achievement is easy to me even back when this game was released and even easier years later because when it got released on Xbox one and PS4 I thought it would be hard because I hadn't done the achievement for years and thought I forgot how I did it but when I completed the game and got max level then started going for the 7 day survivor achievement everything just came back to me it's such a great game and dead rising is still my favourite game to this day out of my top 10 games it's still number 1 with 2 to 10 spots changing slightly over the years depending on what games were released that I liked
@MVPugsley I'm actually not trying to make fun of or shame them for it, though admittedly I found it funny how stream-of-consciousness and hard to follow it was
I have ears I dont need words on the screen. And TH-cam has auto transcription.
Pin of shame

I feel the same way about all the DR games except DR4.. That one.. Think most people who are fans of the series would understand why I said that.

That was astonishingly poignant. Thanks for taking the time to make and post this video, man.
And it came from a dead rising achievement video
Pretty nice
That was such a good statement
Yeah what the fuck it choked me up bro
@MyNamesNotRick Yeah lol it’s complete nonsense, the guy is just playing a game for his financial benefit. He’s not fucking Ghandi.
fr, im sitting here eating cereal out of a cup at 12am whilst playing rocket league, and I just hear this man drop the most touching and strongest quote ever

What was your technique? I spent a good 12hrs using the car and leaving to allow it to respawn.
@@dasdough i think that is the only way?
surprised this guy diddnt get that one.
This game is the very reason I got a 360. This was the first game I played on it. That and ninety nine knights.
Steve blum is everywhere man
Zedonius in Ninja Gaiden II will always be my favorite role of his.
His role as that rogue warlock in Diablo III made a fairly dull storyline fun for a little while as well.
Hey, player! Drop the chips and get me some ammo!
fun fact, og 360 version when we got it- we couldnt read the speech text dialogue because the window and text were super fuckin small, even when we had a 720p flatscreen you still couldnt read it
@@votpavel Yep, definitely a thing for certain TVs, and even though I didn’t have a CRT anymore in 2007, I think I just persevered best I could.
Thanks for that man
Same here I played all the dead risings with my cousin mainly and friends
Dead rising? More like morale rising because you posted a new video!
Doing something that seems impossible seems like a waste of time but sitting there waiting to do it is an even bigger waste of time - Straydog
That's actually inspirational 👏
Exactly what I thought so true
What I would do is go in a safe place and put a 20 mins timer on my phone to remind myself to go eat lol
Small tip from my time playing on X360:
When using firearms, point Frank towards the enemies/enemy you want to hit and tap the attack button.
Yep, straight down into the tunnel to run fuckers over with the meat van lol. I still remember the perfect route underground to this day haha.
lol, I had specific strats set because of this exactly, first grab shotgun at the start to use on the convicts later, then get their browning machine and kill the cleteus
That's not true at all though you might just be bag lol
Fantastic video!
WTF sticky hi nice to see you here!
Never played it either, saw the movie the other day and then I found this video, now it all makes sense.
What a great video. Such a one of a kind game.
Some of my best memories with my older brother, we spent weeks getting the achievements when we were little.
R.I.P big bro,
this one hit at home

Lost my twin brother recently and some of our best memories come from gaming, funny enough it's actually the last thing we did together. Not knowing that day would be the last time I'd see him. RIP to your brother and stay strong 💪 until we get to see them again one day ❤️
I am so proud of you. You managed to achieved "long patience required" achievements although it so time consuming and frustrating
Whenever I see dead rising videos or hardest achievement videos I’m always so proud to know I got 100% on this game, such a fun underrated game.
You’re basically an Olympic gold medalist
You and I both! 100% the original and also the remaster.
I also did. The last 2 were probably the 5 and 7 day survivor achievements, and really, they _weren't_ so hard with the right strategy. It just took hours to get them.
Underrated? It was one of the 360s most popular titles it even got rereleased a couple times
I got the gta iv multiplayer trophies a year ago after a decade of thought it was imposible
I been playing bo4 tryna get to max prestige , I gave up on Bo4 early on bc I was very bad at it and doing the zombie Easter eggs . It’s been fun now , I’m not as good as some of the max players but I’ve come to appreciate it
Believe it or not I found the “transmissionary” achievement more infuriating. Trying to catch all of otis’s calls is ridiculous.
Duuuuude I FEEL this. I wouldnt play this shit again either after that.
As a rule of thumb I ate full heals at a quarter of the exp bar to account for human error. If you ever come back to it just play it safe like that.

Even just feeling your excitement and hearing the ding made this for me. Absolutely love the premise please don’t stop
Back in the day it was even more risky to try this achievement because of how common the red ring of death was.
dude, that video was so amazing. the gameplay, the editing, even the things you said, everything was incredible. thank you so much for making that bro.
"The real waste of time was just not trying" That hit hard bro..
The fact that this game still is relevant after these years is amazing
And I'm still trying to get 100% for the game I tell you I'm jelly that you went back to finish it
I finally got around to seeing this video, I am so glad you beat this game, now i wanna play this game again to get all of the achievements. Good luck on your other videos like this and pray for your ever divine strength for them.
I'm glad this popped up in my recommended. Def brings back memories of this game. I had a lot of hours on this game when it came out in 2006. I remember grinding the kill challenge for the mega man blaster.
The mega man blaster was everything! That thing went so crazy

Ahhh 7 day survivor.
Still my most intense & favourite achievement I got!
It's sad watching this! I spent my entire childhood playing for hours... The new ones are so shit the first 2 where top tier
Not only that but the first and second one have really unique characters, at least imo.
I haven't played the latter two, but I greatly appreciate Dead Rising 2 being way more forgiving about spending time screwing around/not getting every single quest lined up. It was a fair rebalance in my opinion.
3 was alright, 4 is horrendous but 1 will always be the best no matter how clunky it is
hes covered wars you know
I liked the 3rd but yeah it went so far off what they started with
This is my favorite game ever and I've essentially memorized the whole thing, but the 5 and 7 day achievements are the only ones I haven't gotten on any console. I'm working on it now! c:
Also if you get close enough to a survivor the game will act like they're under your watch even if you haven't talked to them; you can just walk away and they'll die shortly on their own.
This was an incredibly entertaining video! The effort is amazing in the comedic timing and editing too
The depth the developers went for these achievements and the concepts of them are really impressive, and tough!
This game also kicked off my achievement hunting so needless to say I got 1000g on this and it took me a while but it made me explore and know the game like the back of my hand which is probably why I love it so much.
ok dude i was clicking through videos and didnt realize I had just watched the whole video, amazing stuff
i was addicted to getting 360 achievements when i was a kid so this series hits a very interesting spot in the cobwebbed caverns of my brain lol
Same, it's funny looking at achievements for games nowadays and thinking "yep, definitely wouldve grinded the fuck out of that one as a kid" but as an adult I'm like "hellll no."

I've got this achievement just a year ago. Finally seeing the platinum trophy made me feel faaaaaantastic.
