Thumbs up if this helped you, and feel free to ask any questions in the comments :) Also this was correct as of Mid-May and some of it may be subject to change in firmware etc!
That's a good run through many of the settings, thanks. A couple of comments - - The functions of the button on the front of the camera can be changed in the app settings to your own preference. This is perhaps the first setting a new user should change (if they want) but I think you didn't mention it in your presentation. Some people like to have the camera record pro video whichever way you press the front button in any situation, for instance. Personally I have mine set so that one press goes to Pro Video and two presses take a photo, whether the camera is on or off. I like to keep things simple and easy to remember! - Video Timer setting can be useful to ensure that the camera memory doesn't fill up if you forget to stop it when shooting. Or if you accidentally start shooting due to the ease of pressing the button on the camera. And lastly, it helps avoid overheating. This camera really is intended for short clips in normal use, though if drone mounted, the airflow helps cool it and it can run for longer.
Cheers Peter! I wanted to show it straight out of the box but it’s definitely handy to know that you can change those buttons and I’ll be changing mine to the same as yours!
Hi very nice video I just want to ask you if any chance I can change my slow video into normal speed video just because I accidentally pressed button for slow mode and I come back from a bike park with some nice videos filmed on a slow motion. Thanks have a nice day.
Hi, thanks for the review. There was a "interval video recording" option on go 1, where you can automatically shoot a eg. 15second video on every 5 min intervals (the intervals and video lenght was adjustable). I didnt come across that mode on this review. Does it exist on go2?
Thanks for the video. I noticed when the camera is being used off the case and in a stationery position, the video has a feature where after a few seconds or so, the camera starts an automatic zoom in, very slowly but noticeable. It even looked like it was slowly zooming in while slightly tilting. I haven't seen this anywhere before and tried to look it up to find out how to activate or deactivate. Any thoughts? Thanks!
Love the camera and your information on using it. I don't think it is for me as Insta 360 studio is nothing like the TH-cam uploads is nothing like my download. My download is Mac v 3.6.8 yet there are no options on the righthand side of the screen, so I can't alter settings
Question for you ... So I'm actually using an Insta360 Go 2 and when shooting in Pro mode I can only get about 3-4mins before the recording stops. At this point it's hit or miss if I get a saving error. This is the 64g version of the Go 2. Does anyone have any ideas what may be causing this?
Hi chris wanted to know Is this for utube and if its is that the controler for your camera /phone thanks sorry i am still learning Really helpful thanks Is it like thats your remote controller kind of thing that you dont have to touch your phone settings or camera
It’s a good camera for TH-cam but more of an action or personal memories camera in my opinion. Also you don’t need a phone to control it as you can use the case. Hope that helps!
Hey man, I saw your iPhone Filmic pro video. I have a few questions and will be grateful if you could answer them. 1. Does shooting with Filmic pro mess with stabilization? 2. How did you get Eterna lut for Filmic Pro LOG? 3. Does shooting at a higher bit rate make any significant difference on a sensor that small of iPhone?
Sure! 1. Not really, the stabilisation is still very good - I don't know if it uses the same stab from the normal camera app but it's been great for me. 2. Eterna LUT is available free from Fuji and isn't designed for Filmic Pro LOG but you can make it work. 3. Higher bit rate makes a difference when shooting in LOG. I wouldn't shoot in LOG with the 8 bit as when colour grading, the image would fall apart.
Just got one and the settings on the camera itself don’t work like this at all - also lots of buzzing going on and taking a still is not great as you have no idea when it’s actually taking it - doesn’t seem to be when you click twice but a bit later then it has to do all the vibrating again to turn itself off again - seems a bit complicated just to take a still shot
The downloadable software is only for Final Cut Pro and Adobe’s Premier Pro! Shame really as the company is missing global sales if they had a stand alone post processing software‼️
Thumbs up if this helped you, and feel free to ask any questions in the comments :)

Do I have to download the footage on a laptop to empty memory space, or can I download it on my phone? And can you charge it with a power bank?
That's a great video guide, thanks Chris. better than just reading at the paper guide.

this was actually brilliant, exactly what I was looking for mate, thanks
Just got this camera yesterday, great video 👍
Does this Go 2 record stats (GPS... speed, altitude, route...?) I've seen other Insta360 do that with the Insta app.
This helped me a lot! Cheers from Dubai

Hi!
Thanks for the tutorial!
How to Update Firmware?
Thanks!
Hi nice one. Can we lock the power and record button? Sometimes it accidently gets on when putting into a 3d mount
Any issues with the camera overheating? I've read a number of comments about this having an issue.
It gets really warm at times. No trouble for me as of yet, but i still use my gopro mostly.
Great review.

Shutter speed frames is automatic or I can set on my own?
So, to get into Pro mode, you take a still and then one click after it turns off and you are in pro? I always want to shoot in pro.

Ia this camera good for filming POV drive cars videos?

weston shore...?
Can we shoot in vertical frame for Instagram reel/story?
yes, also in pro mode you can reframe the video later (9:16 is vertical, 16:9 is horizontal)

@@ChrisSpice thank you for responding. How to make that Flog to Eterna lut work ?
Can you zoom in while taking a video
So small 😍

Is there a way to manually set the white balance to 5500k?
As far as I can tell you can only set the manual white balance to 5000 or 6500
@@ChrisSpice oh so MANUAL WB has fixed number
Is it a physical button or touch sensing button? No reviewer on TH-cam mentions about this very basic factor at all...So shame haha
The 2 buttons on the charging case are physical buttons
on the camera itself, it's an actual button
My app does not install in my device. my device is redmi 9A. Pls help....
No SD card is a big problem for me
