Bernd Wurzenrainer on HX3 Hammond emulator

Bernd Wurzenrainer plays the KeyboardPartner HX3 (aka. c't-Obi-Orgel, HOAX III) Hammond B3 emulator board, built into a Hammond B3000 console (old guts discarded). Thanks to Bernd (and also to Roland Specke on drums) for this great performance, recorded live at the B.A.S.S. booth on OKey Tastenfestival, Herdecke 10/2012.

Have been playing my X-66 and my Wurlitzer 4410 a lot lately. I know there is very little that could ever improve a Hammond tone wheel sound, but there is a smooth fatness that can be heard/felt from the Wurlitzer electrostatic reed organs like the 4600, 4602,4410,4420,4430 that would sound amazing if combined with a Hammond tone wheel sound. Not to mention the more realistic string tone that comes from a Wurlitzer ES reed.
I'm finding my X-66 is far more bold,tight,smooth than my Elegante.

I think the guys from HOAX and the guys from Kemper need to get together and save ALL of the old incredible electromechanical AND purely analog electronic organs- the Gulbransen RIALTO K, Rialto II, Conn 650, Wurlitzer 4600 ( have fun with that one!), Baldwin Orgasonic, HT2, Wurlitzer 4500 series...oh' so many organs! PLEASE preserve their legacy too!
