Today I’m going to be sharing with you how to make the best tortitas de papa y queso (potato cakes)along with a delicious calabacita and avocado salad! This is my mom recipe and I’m excited to share it with you! Hope you enjoy it as much as me and my family, seriously the best!!!!!

-You can find all ingredients at your local Walmart, Frys, Safeway,Hispanic supermarket or Amazon!!!

Tip‼️ ⚠️ make sure you add enough oil to cover 1/2 of the tortita, keep on m heat and DO NOT flip it after 3-4 minutes!!!!
Ingredients: I get about 16 tortitas
7 potatoes
2 eggs
1 cup queso cotija
2 cups queso Oaxaca
1 tbsp cornstarch
3 calabacitas
1 red bell pepper
2 avocados
1 roma tomatoe
Chile serrano
3 green onions
1 minced garlic clove
1 lemon
1 handful of cilantro
Garlic, herb and black pepper seasoning
Total seasoning
Black pepper
1 serving of love 💕

Im so excited! I’m vegetarian but i make your recipes by adapting them with vegetarian protein instead of meat but this time its an all vegetarian recipe! Yay! Definitely gonna try this out, the calabazita salad looks to die for 😋😋😋😋

Where we’re from we call these torreznos so glad you’re sharing your potato version!! My mom makes shrimp ones and as tasty as they are it also stinks up the entire house.

I grew up cooking early and super sharp knives were rare at my house. I used serrated knives because they were always sharper. Even today I still go to serrated knives even though I have good sharp knives. Steak knives are my friend. Watching you use a big chefs knife to cut things like tomatoes I am always thinking oh no be carefull. I relax when your done cutting. Weird I know. 😜

I love everything you make, and it helps me to make different things and spice up my menu. Some of the things you use I’m not sure what they’re called nor have I seen it in the store. I almost need a picture of everything to help me shop for it.
