I’ve been in recruiting for 20 years. I’m old school. When I screen a candidate I tend to print the CV and write my notes on it. I know it’s a waste of paper. Trying to think of a more streamlined way to do this.
Printing CV’s is also a reminder for me in regards to who I have recently met with, who I need to follow up with, etc.
    suggestions??
The ATS my company uses is not conducive to note taking.

Very interesting video. I will definitely do more research on ATS as my company uses a very old and rusty one...

Hey Preston, I run a small tech/medical device recruitment firm and have used Crelate for the past year.
I’m curious which system you prefer? Ats + CRM like recruiterflow or stand alone systems for CRM and ATS

How are you liking Crelate? Heard mixed things about it. Using our own system but always open to learn about others to see how we can continue to optimize our tools on the back end. What do you like best/worst about it? Thanks for reaching out!

@@RecruiterPreston I like it because of its simplicity/barebones model. It’s cheap and it allows me to implement a lot of other software around it that complement my work flow.
However, I sometimes do wish that it had a facelift and integrated easier with website, google work place. I also wish it was easier to search candidates via Boolean and had the ability to automate email campaigns to generate more applicants. My old company’s proprietary system was very powerful in that way.
I plan to ultimately build my own CRM/ATS one day, but I just started and have only been in operation for 3/4 of a year.
Great channel Preston. A lot of good and concise information here. I’ll subscribe and stay in touch 👍🏼

Thank you for this video Preston. I often find in job descriptions for recruiters to have knowledge on workday. Is it an ATS?

@@RecruiterPreston thanks but no, there are specific job boards Dr's search on..not indeed or monster. I was hoping for more targeted info on those of us that recruit physicians but it does not sound like that is your area of expertise...thanks anyway for responding
