A good way to get people to accept a green scapular, especially non-Catholics, is to simply offer it as a promise to pray for them. I've never had one refused when offered this way and most people are touched and honored to receive such a gift. They always promise to pray for me, too. Keep blessed ones in your purses, ladies, and hand them out to those who need them. Ask their name and then add them to your list. Our Lady left heaven to give us this gift so we are bound to use it. I must have given more than a 100 green scapulars in the last 6 months and I have given it to everyone: Uber drivers, service crew in restaurants, close friends, random strangers, my loved ones. Mama Mary will take care of all of us. Immaculate Heart of Mary, Pray for us. now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
I put one under my rebellious alcohoilc nephew's mattress, prayed appropriately. The next day he admitted himself to rehab - after 20+ years of refusing. Still praying for his salvation. What a blessing and miracle from our precious Mother.
Green Scapular works - it helped bring me back from 20 years of atheism. I purchase and give away as many of these as I can. I also preach it to the Boomer and Gen Z parents of children who have left the faith, just on a one-to-one basis when I run into these people, especially the parents of my former classmates in Catholic School. We all left the faith. I was fortunate enough to be brought back. I don't think any of my classmates were, or perhaps there were very few. They're all dead now because of growing up in the Novus Ordo. They just don't know it yet. :'(

There are more colors than that. The purple scapular was given for protection in the Chastisement. It is HUGE . You need to look up all the colors , who it was given to and what promises are attached.
