Did the pre shampoo oil, shampoo, hair mask, then mist, serum and blowout milk. I have thin fine straight hair just past shoulder length. I am obsessed with these products. My hair is fluffy and so soft and silky and not weighed down. Anytime I have layered products it leaves my hair feeling heavy and sticky. Obsessed. Can’t wait to shower and wash my hair again!

Number one thank you for detailing the purpose of all your products. I did not know that air-dry cream was a styling product. Also I think I found the missing link in my hair care. I need a serum for my ends. I do all the things you're supposed to do to protect you hair and I'm still constantly dealing with really rough and dry split and that I have to trim every two or three months.

As a no-frills impatient person, I don't see myself ever layering more than two products. I'm a bit intimidated by a lot of this! This is so helpful. Product descriptions tend to be pretty unhelpful: vague at best or inscrutability poetic at worst. (And don’t get me started on “For your best hair day ever, work through hair and style as usual.”). For folks who are doing wavy/curly styling, Lina’s Lovely Locks has a great series on product categories in that context.

I just used my JVN products for the first time. I’m so excited to have them. I was a bit disappointed that there wasn’t some kind of instructions on how to use them, so I am very grateful for this and other TH-cam videos that helped me out. I used the recommended products; Embody voluminizing shampoo & conditioner, and the foam mouse. I still don’t know exactly how to use the air dry cream. Is that just for blow outs? I only blow dry once in awhile. So do I save it for then?

Thank you for explaining how everything works. Especially the dry shampoo, I was using that for a while to try to limit hair loss when I would wash, had no ideas it should have been brushed through to distribute. I would have had a much easier time with it. ❤️
QUESTION: what if we have very long hair, and the bottoms dry extremely quickly while the top remains sopping wet? The bottom curls seem to dry out before I can distribute product, and my 3A curls get frizzy because they are already almost dry by the time I am out of the shower and working product through 😢 LOVED THIS VIDEO ❤❤❤ and I adore the JVN products! I own all of the stylers except the mousse!

One thing I've found with my long history with leave-in-conditioners, is that even if something says it's for curly hair - read the back of it, because sometimes it's just the moisture I need for my super long, color-treated hair. And, it will say that on the back of a lot of curl-specific products. Good for color-treated hair too, not just curly.

Can you make a hairspray? I love your products and I haven't found a good hairspray. The biggest issue is the smell. If you can make a odorless or neutral smelling hairspray, I would be eternally grateful. I have fine 2A hair but a lot of it. Hairspray is essential for any kind of style.
I thought the instant recovery serum, being a primer, essentially would go first then the leave in conditioning mist! That's how I've been doing it for months! 🤦🏻♀️ I mean it's been working fine just now I gotta try it the other way. 😂🤷🏻♀️
