Hi luv! You don’t HAVE to, I just highly prefer it because it gives more volume at the root, and it’s faster for me. My hair can take 6 hours to air dry lol.
Omg this is so hard cuz it depends on what you usually struggle with the most. If you have thicker thirsty curls, the Nurture one is ✨a godsend✨ but if you’re more like me, curls are not super thick, and it can catch tons of build up, then the Embody one is best.

I haven't tried anything from Mixed Chicks babes, im sorry! But if you're looking for an affordable leave-in conditioner, I love the Curl Spray one from Kristin Ess. Very lightweight so it's easy for low porosity hair to absorb
I LOVE mixed chicks leave in. For me, I could even just use the leave in on days when I felt lazy and didn't want to style my hair lol and it looked great! I used the blueberry bliss leave in now and it's just not as good as mixed chick's imo. Mixed chicks gave a nice shine without being too heavy (for reference, I have mostly the same curl pattern as nemesis, but I have more texture than her hair and the very front of my hair has tighter curls).
@@NemesisMarie I was using the volume shampoo, the pinkish red bottle of conditioner, the airdry cream, and the scalp oil. Not sure what it was that started it, so I threw it all out 😕

Did you love it as much on the second or third days? I’ve found some creams look great the first day and then are greasy and frizzy the second.
