@@Dallas_57 I don't think there's much more lore that what I've said tbh... Me and Ascro play vs each other at times and they got me good in that set. As for the ness stuff it's funny, I can handle Lucas way easier than ness and Lucas is a harder mu for Ridley, I think I just encountered more Lucas' often and Ness disappeared for me so my comfort in that mu has gone down, it's good they get clips on me like this so I can really see if I've gotten bad and struggling in an mu. They definitely dominated in that whole set too, wasn't just that clip lol

In Melee, your collisions with walls and ceilings are determined by the character's Environmental Collision Box (ECB for short). For Link's neutral b, the arrow will fire from the spot that the game projects Link's ECB to be, and because of how much upwards momentum Link has in this clip, the game will begin to move Link's projected ECB upwards until he stops charging neutral b.
For those wondering where I got this information from, I'm pretty sure what we saw in the clip uses part of a glitch covered in Asumsaus' Link video where Link starts charging neutral b after tethering the ledge. And honestly I'd recommend watching that Link video for everyone, even if you only play Ultimate, it's not that long and it features and explains a ton of weird Link specific glitches and jank.
Almost but no, the functions of the arrow and the reposition of link have diferent order, so while the ECB is calculated and relocated, the arrow spawned before it rellocated, the order is like this:
-ECB is calculated for the next frame, which because of momentum it doesnt stop by hitting the ceiling. But doesnt recognize the ceiling yet.
-Arrow is fire from this new ECB position, which is above the platform.
-The game now recognize the ceiling and the fact that you are under it, so it rellocate link and ECB under the platform.
Because the arrow was fire before this new rellocation it will appear above the platform.

I mean Shulk is still deadly and the matchup is probably still in Shulk's favor considering his range and him always having access to the monado arts. This is just a reason to be more careful around buster Kirby

It depends on how vertical the knockback is, cause I remember in a really early video they applied it to Mario's up smash I think. Falco also falls faster and flies more sideways if he DIs correctly, so maybe he could have held down as well? He could have also just been way too high of a percent or way too close for it to matter

Can anyone explain the context to the Bowser final smash clip?
One Piece reference to an iconic moment where character in the back whose face has been replaced with Bowser's for the sake of the clip punches a hole through character in the front using his magma power and kills him. Said scene is technically a spoiler, but by now almost everyone in the online anime community knows about it, even non-one piece fans. Also the mii is clearly made after another character who was there during that moment.

Logia fruit users are immune to physical harm, and besides, why did he stand still as a meat shield instead of flying off or doing something to push away the attacker from the target ?
@@YounesLayachi in Ace's case the reason why he's immune to physical hits is because he can turn his body into fire, and if you try to punch fire it obviously does nothing other than burn you. But Akainu's power is magma, and magma beats fire. Also he might have been using armament haki, which counters logia users' immunity to physical damage
@@darkblue133 that's the case for every logia not just him, they're immune to all physical damage regardless if it's magma or not.
Magma fruit might be stronger than fire but that doesn't mean he gets to one shot him.
It was established that fire is the stronger version of the smoke ability, and yet ace could not one shot smoker. He might win in a long flight or his attacks are stronger than smoker's or he can nullify smoke attacks but he cannot deal physical damage to smoker simply by punching him.
Some logias have weaknesses like crocodile is weak to water , but for ace what will magma do to his fire ? Make it hotter ? How would that weaken him ?
As for busōshoku it did not really exist during that arc, as a concept it was introduced much later.
If akainu can use busō, why did he get beat up so badly by the fruit ability of Newgate ?
If busō is all he needs to one shot ace, why did he use magma in his punch ? What goal does magma serve if he can just punch through him with a bare fist ?
My question remains, why didn't ace simply move luffy out of the way, he can fly and akainu can't fly, or simply knock him away to buy some time.
Frankly that whole battle royale of an arc was a Trainwreck of important characters standing and watching events unfold while doing nothing. They're all together on site but the interactions are like 1v1, each waiting for his turn to intervene.
