Crazy Hand in Melee has got to be the best introduction of a character. You think it's just gonna be Master Hand, then everything suddenly stops and Crazy Hand comes in for no reason whatsoever without any build-up and surprises the crap out of you. Giga Bowser is a similar thing, it's great.
i remember raging on that boss in 2014; one of the attacks i didn't like was the one where he fully opens his wings and causes a massive explosion. the other attack was probably the one where he turns into a square thing and drags your fighter offstage

Honestly? I wish that Smash Ultimate still had an adventure mode like Melee or Brawl, that or Smash Run. Where we can best up countless grunts and enemies from various franchises.
Interesting with the additional inclusion of the Stage Bosses introduced in Smash 4, Yellow Devil, Dark Emperor, Metal Face and seeing Ridley's face from an actual boss, to a stage boss, to a playable character in the span of 10 years between Brawl and Ultimate.

That's what I've always imagined they should do. Make a subspace emissary style story mode the size of a full price game in it's own right using Ultimate as a base. It could double as DLC for Ultimate in the same vein as New Super Luigi U.
At that point Nintendo could just make a new gen smash game and add more characters like for example they should add megaman.exe as playable character.

For Crazy Hand to appear in Melee, play on Normal, Hard or Very Hard. On those difficulties, if you take out half of Master Hand’s HP within the first 30 seconds, Crazy Hand might appear. This sometimes happens in Normal, usually in Hard, and always in Very Hard. Brawl, play on Hard or tougher to fight the 2 hands together. Smash 4 Wii U, reach the final stage on 9.0 intensity without ever using a continue for the full Master Core and Master Fortress battle.

In retrospect, I personally think Tabuu was the cooler/scarier villain than Galeem and Dharkon. From his design, the music, and his whole domain. Even though G & D’s boss fight in Ultimate is more extravagant and flashy, I don’t know-they just don’t have that same eerie and mysterious vibe (Brawl as a whole just had a really cool, cinematic atmosphere compared to the rest of the games). Master Core is a close second behind him (the only thing is that the boss music there doesn’t jive with me).

You want a real challenging boss fight? Check out Smash Remix. Classic remix mode with adaptive A.I. The boss fight is Giga Bowser with 300 stamina. I have a hard time just surviving on normal difficulty.
Any character is good if you’re good with them. This isn’t like Pokémon where Linoone is clearly worse than Arceus. When you get down so it, it’s all mechanic understanding, and how you use said mechanics.
Cool fight, everything Rayray did there is so un-Rayray-like. It’s the atmosphere pokemon… let’s have it dig holes… let’s have it puke put an electric ball… the corkscrew attack is very Rayray-like though… If only gen 6 was out when Brawl out out. Probably would’ve been Zygarde, and it’d make sense, lol.

For my first smash game, I was speechless when master core showed up. So even though galeem is cool and all, master core will always be my favorite.
