- This project brought me right back to day one on the scroll saw! While it felt very discouraging, I have to remember that I am still a newbie at this.

My new winter hobby along with many other wood working projects!
Since October of 2022 I have been woodworking with what tools I had. The idea was to have something to do during the winter months. While I have always liked anything made of wood, whether is is a deck or a carving, I just had a love for it.

You can also use self adhesive clear shelf liner. In my area, SE Idaho, I can pick up rolls at Walmart, Dollar Tree, the local grocery store (2 blocks), Family Dollar (2 blocks), and the local hardware store (8 blocks). All of them carry name brand rolls, Contact brand and Duck brand. It's an old woodworking trick to use masking tape on the back of a piece to reduce splintering, so the concept has been around for awhile :) .
Gorilla grip is just another shelf liner. I'm glad I got it because it's much easier to apply than the other ones I bought in the past. I am so thankful for your input! You have given so much information that is helping me develop my skills! Thank you!
