I had this for last 5 years. Think I got this when I shampooed my hair everyday for like 2 weeks lol It literally went away for awhile when I was on a Keto Diet. Purposely overdosed on sugar and carbs during the winter and now I currently have it again. I found that sugar is what inflamed my folliculitis. I’d say change of diet or cutting carbs helped me. Might help you.
Great video thank you 🙏 Thank you 🙏 Drphiloherbalhome she has the heart of gold , I was cured totally from hsv after I drank the medicine! Thank you Drphiloherbalhome..

This is my own method and how I cleared my Pustule Folliculitis in 1 month. No fancy gimmick products or shady bot links. Just need 3 main products; generic rubbing alcohol, moisturizing shampoo (Dove), and any cheap ACV. - Wash hands with soap well (Especially under fingernails) to disinfect hands - Wipe entire scalp down lightly with rubbing alcohol to disinfect surface (Might sting a little but shouldn’t be painful) - Pop out all the pustules on scalp that are ready to pop (Whitehead exit tip) *Don’t force if not ready* - Pre rinse scalp with warm water (Not steamy but a level above warm to open up pores and loosen grime layer) - Wash scalp thoroughly TWICE with shampoo (Once to remove grime layer, rinse off, second time to actually clean skin layer, rinse off) - *Important* Rinse entire head with very cold water until head feels slightly numb (30sec) to close up pores and cool down inflammation. - Dry gently with clean towel then rub Apple Cider Vinegar all over scalp and allow it to dry on overnight. Wash off normally with moisturizing shampoo in morning. I had pustule folliculitis on both sides of my scalp for years. It started to get better within 2 weeks of experimenting this then it all disappeared in 1 month. I still do this like once a week as maintenance so it doesn’t return. Thank me later.
I started getting this mostly on my chest and parts of my legs ( I'm very hairy) after I started using Bactrim to treat stubborn acne. Now I'm on Doxycycline, it's not as bad as before and less itchy. So I think the doxycycline is helping it a bit.
Dont take antibiotics if it comes back. Buy a bar of benzoil peroxide soap. And another kick ass remedy is listerine. Just pour some on a paper towel and wipe down the area and leave it on through the day.
Definitely try to treat it topically. The stuff you take internally reeks havoc on your internal system on SO many levels. Try chlorhexadine. If a antibiotics works, this will likely work as well without having to injest anything. I cleared my horrendous persistent (also bacterial) acne this way. Just put it on like lotion but slightly heavier. Make sure to cover all the affected areas. Let it sit for approx 3 minutes before jumping in the shower to rinse it off. Avoid your eye sockets, lips, nose, ears and genital areas. I would do it daily for the first week. You will immediately know if it's working. Usually in 3 or 4 days you will see improvement. I would not use it more than two weeks except for maybe spot/as needed applications if you have an occasional flare up. You can buy it at Walmart near the alcohol and iodine. It's cheaper on Amazon. Good luck with it. 😊

Hopefully sometime next year I can get onto insurance again and get rid of these painful pimple like bumps on the back of my scalp once and for all!

I have it all over my legs and arms possibly through a scrape at the bottom of my foot from a couple months back. I went to the doctor yesterday and he just said “allergy” and gave me some corticosteroids. Last night I noticed while looking closely at the bumps that each bump was on a hair follicle so this has to be folliculitis. I don’t have it on my head, thank god but it’s only in my extremities. This is torture.
I have the exact same situation. I think it happened after shaving my legs. It started on the legs and it now spread to arms. And it itches so much! I've been washing every day with chlorhexidine and using calamine. It's been 3 weeks and I'm desperate for an answer.

It actually occurs on my chin. Each time hair grows on my chin a small white head pus also appears on each area where the hair grows and it is actually painful. I am not drinking the antibiotic, but instead i apply it directly on the affected area and it is affective and heals fast just for few days. But my problem is after 1 or 2 months it is occuring again. Any recommendation to stop it from occuring?
Ik it sounds crazy y'all but I have this all over and the only thing I've found that helps (and believe me I've tried EVERYTHING even shaving my head bald and yes I'm a female and no it didn't work smh.) But anyway.. Make you a paste with salt pref sea salt but reg will work, water.. Just add enough to make a paste,a lil bit of flour just to thicken paste a lil.... And leave it on as long as you can.. And trust me I know!!!!! It BURNS LIKE HELL!!!!! but is so worth it I have literally tried anything and everything and nothing but this has gave me any relief it will draw out any witness or moisture or infection and bring it to the surface which helps the ingrown hairs come to the surface and break free which was a lot of my pain and salt has healing properties plus if there is a parasite or bug causing your problem.. An overabundance of salt kills every carbon living creature.. and last but not least I have noticed my main problem is exfoliation of the skin for some reason my body is not exfoliating the dead skin which is causing my follicles to remain blocked in my hair's too in grow which causes inflammation and pustules and salt is a natural exfoliant!!! PLEASE JUST TRY IT!! YOU'LL SEE A DIFFERENCE EVEN AFTER ONE TRY I PROMISE!! I WISH SOMEONE WOULD'VE TOLD ME A LONG TIME AGO!!!! IT'S literally the only thing that's ever given me any type of relief and trust me I've tried spraying bleach mildew remover hair dyeing bleach anything you can think of I've sprayed on my head and then went to the extent of Shaving It Off so please don't get to the point I did when there is something that helps GOOD LUCK!! Let me know if you need any advice!!
Here is what worked for me: 5% Bezol Peroxide cleanser. I used Oxy Emergency Acne Vanishing Facial Cleanser with Benzoyl Peroxide. I use it like shampoo (but just on the section where I have bumps). I leave in for 4mins or so and rinse. in just a few days of daily use, 90% of the bumps were gone and now after a week or so they are all gone! now I only need to use it every second day. PS. It may bleach your towels.

Sulfur soap can work. Not touching or itching helps a ton. Don't eat sugars. Tar shampoo or salicylic Acid shampoo. Don't condition scalp. Wash thin hair every other day and thick hair 2-3x a week
12 years later, still have it and appears to be getting worse. Insecure every time I go to the barbershop, always wear hats in public. Why is it so difficult to get rid of?

Staphylococcus Aureus densities are normally higher just behind the ears and inside the nostrils. Apply a dab of a triple antibiotic (i.e., Neosporin) behind the ears and under the nostrils periodically for population control of the bacteria.
Have scalp foliculitis for 8 years now. It used to depress me horribly but now I'm more positive and try different methods every few months. This will be a thing of the past
I have been dealing with this on my face.... I honestly can’t pin point if it’s bacterial or fungal. The dermatologist I saw incorrectly diagnosed me with rosacea and obviously his treatment for that did not work. So I decided to do my own research and try to treat it myself. I have had the best results using Hibiclens medical grade skin cleanser every day. It’s the only thing that has helped so far.
YP_Mani try CBD oil, I had folliculitis all over my body for close to a month and a half. I tried antibiotics but that just made me sick and throw up, it did nothing for my folliculitis. What finally helped was using CBD oil once a day. It not only cleared up all my folliculitis but the CBD oil also helps my sleep and daily nausea I get from Fibromyalgia. I took the CBD to help with my Fibromyalgia and then I noticed it was healing up my sores and eventually went away complexly. It can be expensive $150 a bottle but it works wonders. I ran out of my CBD and the folliculitis came back so I got the CBD and it cleared it all up. I hope this helps. Make sure you get good CBD because I did use the cheaper oil and it didn’t do anything.i hope this helps you.
My english is not good but I will share my experience. i hope it will help you people my friend.I was totally frusted about folliculities that i had on my head scalp about 3 years. It was much painful. I visited different hospitals. I took a lot of medicines in this three years but did not help out. The things i learnt is more the medicine you take more it becomes worse, i swear. I tested my sugar level, culture the pus but did not worked out. Finally, as i am from nepal i believe in superstition and homeopathetic so tried a traditional method. Steps for treatment, First i shaved my hair and became bald. Then i used mixture of camphor and neem and used it. Within 7 days i got relieved. my head is no more itchy now and also clean as well.Sometimes, one or two blister come out but regual use of this mixture clear that as well. use the mixture of camphor and neem for one month. After you feel it is gone use only neem continuously. Boil neem leaves and mix the neem water with camphor paste and use it all over the head. Do not use any sampoo or soap. Wash your head within a week only but not with hot water.

I was taking oral antibiotics ( for acne ) for months when the folliculitis began to appear in small bouts on my chest and neck.Unfortunately it was treated late and incorrectly with Cipro ( an oral anti-biotic), believing it to be bacterial folliculitis and it has since spread all over my neck and chest. I am almost certain now that it is fungal, however topical anti-fungals do not seem to be working.Does anyone have any suggestions?
This is EXACTLY what happened to me. I had to tell my dermatologist that this is what happened to get the right prescription. You can get a prescription oral anti-fungal medication, though it can be kind of a harsh medication on your body. I would ask your doctor about this
How’s it going after a year now? Are you familiar with the concept of gut microbiom and it’s relationship with our immunity? It’s quite common for continuing doses of antibiotics to damage our gut microbes and thus lead to all kinds of autoimmune diseases. The key as I understand is to treat the gut and restore the bioses.
I think mine is herpes folliculitis because I usually have lethargic mental feelings and flushing with headaches with it, stress brings it on and seems like I’ve had it non stop lately, I’m going to a dermatologist next week to finally find out, I’ve had this for over 15 years , eliminating dairy and yogurt especially helps tho so I may have viral and bacterial who knows but I’m tired of it, if I shave my head I get them too
I am suffering from chronic recurrent scalp folliculitis from the last 4 years. I have tried taking antibiotics for three months but it came back after the cycle. I also took acutret (Isotretinoin) as prescribed by the dermatologist for complete year with changing dosage but still it keeps on coming back on my scalp. It is really painful and has covered complete scalp. What shall I do?
It’s your diet. Stop taking medications and antibiotics. Your only doing more harm. Completely stop the sugar and carbs, no fried foods and no alcohol.
Does anyone know why some people get a swab done and others sent for a biopsy instead? I may have folliculitis, but dermatologist is referring me for the biopsy. I thought I had flea or bed bug bites - fox came in house a few times briefly before I got these spots - as most of my spots are lower leg and feet. Weird to be told I have a condition due to hair follicles as I have no hair there either. I’m baffled tbh. I have odd spots on shoulder, and my back - again, weird - and scalp feels itchy, but nothing like others are describing or images I’ve seen. How does it spread anyway? I’m reluctant to take antibiotics as it’s a 4 month course but not a good thing to do unless absolutely necessary and I’m getting a second opinion. I don’t want this to continue for months though. The itching is the worst part!
I have tiny boils at the hair root for 3 years ..its very itchy and cause the skin to get hard and dark....the skin also peels n is very dry despite i oil it.....help help help? Any medication ?
Try CBD oil, it’s what cleared up all of my Folliculitis and I had it from head to toes. Don’t get cheap CBD oil because it doesn’t work. I paid $150 for my bottle and it last me a month. That’s expensive I know but it works wonders for me, and helped me sleep and takes away my daily nausea I get from Fibromyalgia. I hope this helps someone. I did try antibiotics first and it did nothing but made me very very sick so I stopped taking the antibiotic. I began taking CBD oil to help with my Fibromyalgia pain but soon realized after about a week using it my folliculitis was going away and within two weeks it was all gone. The CBD oil did not help with my Fibromyalgia pain but it did help with my sleep, nausea, and folliculitis.

I've experienced something similar. I've pulled out hair in the effected area and the follicles/bulb was much bigger than regular hair and sometimes really hurt to pull out
You think it might be like an ingrown hair? I read somewhere that your pores get blocked by sebum and causes something similar. I changed my diet, exercise (nothing crazy 😁) shower morning and night, drink lemon water at least 2 liters per day. At night I wear a headband with toilet tissue covering the bump on my head. So frustrating but you learn to move on. Am thinking I might have a cyst that needs to be removed surgically because only that spot gets inflammation. Gonna try a different dermatologist. I've been dealing with mons pubis folliculitis and its been 6 months now.Can someone give me tips how to get rid with this?It makes me stress everyday😭😭
I just stumbled upon this video. So here is my situation. I’ve been shaving my head for the last 20 years since I was a soldier in the army. Over the last three months, I finally started growing my hair out on my head. And this timeframe I have experienced more body perspiration, and also a return of folliculitis. I suffered terribly from this when I was an adolescent, but have not really dealt with it over the last 10 to 15 years. initially I was taking doxycycline, but I stopped taking it after I noticed there was no recurrence of the folliculitis. As soon as I started growing my hair, however I’ve seen a recurrence. I will start taking the doxycycline again, but I am curious if anyone knows of any link or any role hair growth on my head might be playing here.
It's tricky because there are a lot of factors to consider. Hair itself shouldn't be an issue, but it will change the microbial environment that could cause folliculitis. It is possible that your shampoo is contributing if you are sensitive to the components or if it is overly drying. It's also possible that you have some seborrheic dermatitis (dandruff) that's contributing. Ideally you would go to a doctor and get it checked out to know for sure. If you can't do that though, I would try a gentle shampoo (don't use men's shampoos that have a lot a fragrance in them) vs a gentle anti-dandruff shampoo every two days. If you wear a hat ever make sure you clean it well. If it is still an issue, you may need an antimicrobial, either clindamycin or an anti-fungal depending on which it is.
Well, I have been using Oxy and so far it’s been clearing it after a week, I had several of those nasty dots and they would break bad but now after a week only have 4 big ones but around them it’s clear. I got me this shampoo called ProBliva anti fungal so I will post more, I have been suffering from this since I was 20 and I’m now 38, so yeah. I do sweat a lot though!
@@OmarVidalPhoto the Oxy 10 helped but it was messy to use, I did find the best so far it’s been NEOSPORIN, I was not so sure because I always have that for other things but my doctor kept saying my problem was bacteria and he would send me medication but never worked, so I tried NEOSPORIN just to try something different and it did help way better than any medications or shampoos I tried before. Right now I don’t have any bumps but I do have the scars and someone told me to try cicatricure for that but I haven’t been able to use it. But yeah NEOSPORIN did the trick, not a cure but now I only use it once per week to be on the safe side. Make sure to apply directly to the skin.
Suffering from it from 2011 still got no cure... Antibiotics work for 2 to 4 months then boils come back.... If anyone got any benefits plz share your experiencez
I had this problem for over 5 yrs and now I am completely free from that. Change that I made are as below. First and the most try cleaning you scalp every day with any mild shampoo. Take bath twice a day once in morning and once at night before sleep. Use mild shampoo both the time and use head and shoulder mint with conditioners twice a week. Keep you scalp dry as you can and avoid using any oil. Or wash off scalp after 1 hr if you oil your scalp. Don't wear helmet when oiled your scalp. The most important and I am sure this will make your scalp atleast 60% free from all the issue is don't hit your bed untill you take bath. Also wash your pillow cover after every 3 days as most of the germs are lying there and they are the main reason for your problems. So always sleep on clean and dry pillow cover. If possible change pillow cover from cotton to silk. Also if you taking Alchohal then limit it as it trigger very fast. Let me know if you find any different. I will be glad to help you.

I have it on my back of scalp mostly and my shoulders and back are also covered with it. One things I noticed I have swollen lymph nodes in the neck region for a long time now. Does it have any link? Anyone else noticed that too? I'm really worried about it

Me too if I eat sugary foods or drinks folliculitis appear on part of my body mostly on my legs.
I am pleased to learn from you about the cause and treatment of my condition. Thank you million times.
This is my own method and how I cleared my Pustule Folliculitis in 1 month. No fancy gimmick products or shady bot links. Just need 3 main products; generic rubbing alcohol, moisturizing shampoo (Dove), and any cheap ACV.
- Wash hands with soap well (Especially under fingernails) to disinfect hands
- Wipe entire scalp down lightly with rubbing alcohol to disinfect surface (Might sting a little but shouldn’t be painful)
- Pop out all the pustules on scalp that are ready to pop (Whitehead exit tip) *Don’t force if not ready*
- Pre rinse scalp with warm water (Not steamy but a level above warm to open up pores and loosen grime layer)
- Wash scalp thoroughly TWICE with shampoo (Once to remove grime layer, rinse off, second time to actually clean skin layer, rinse off)
- *Important* Rinse entire head with very cold water until head feels slightly numb (30sec) to close up pores and cool down inflammation.
Thank you kindly!
Thanks for sharing this! I hope this works for me!

@@hugoh.9694 another trick, cut out sugars from your diet and start eating a plain large hamburger every day twice. Dont know why it works. It just does. And go swimming at least 1 day a week. That stuff will be gone as fast as an illegal when Trump gets back in.

But anyway..

The things i learnt is more the medicine you take more it becomes worse, i swear. I tested my sugar level, culture the pus but did not worked out.
Finally, as i am from nepal i believe in superstition and homeopathetic so tried a traditional method.
Steps for treatment,
First i shaved my hair and became bald.

The EXACT same thing is happening to me... idk what to do
This is EXACTLY what happened to me.
Interesting. Mine appeared after taking oral anti-biotics. I think it's probably fungal. I haven't tried topical creams yet. I'll give it a shot.
I would recommend people going through this to see a naturopathic doctor. Most definitely would recommend parsley health

You think it might be like an ingrown hair? I read somewhere that your pores get blocked by sebum and causes something similar. I changed my diet, exercise (nothing crazy 😁) shower morning and night, drink lemon water at least 2 liters per day. At night I wear a headband with toilet tissue covering the bump on my head. So frustrating but you learn to move on. Am thinking I might have a cyst that needs to be removed surgically because only that spot gets inflammation. Gonna try a different dermatologist. The medication and creams don't do sht. 😁

@@MINDSPARK-u6e thanks man. This truly makes since. I was panicking like what do I do? This is so embarrassing. But I’m going to try this.
@@MINDSPARK-u6e a lot of doctors do tell patients this. Patients don't listen. When the doctor states, eat better, lose weight, cut the sugar from your diet, take this vitamin, take that. However, patients have a bad habit of coming in and stating what they google and want an antibiotic. if they don't get it you are a bad practitioner and they will practitioner shop until they get what they want. It is not just the doctors, patients are at fault as well.

I got same issue. The moment i shave my head it disappears in few days. The longer the hair the more serious it gets so i just shave my head always
Use apple cider vinegar with anti-Dandruff shampoo its work very well.
What ratio?
Well, I have been using Oxy and so far it’s been clearing it after a week, I had several of those nasty dots and they would break bad but now after a week only have 4 big ones but around them it’s clear. I got me this shampoo called ProBliva anti fungal so I will post more, I have been suffering from this since I was 20 and I’m now 38, so yeah. I do sweat a lot though!
I can help you removing it permanently.if interested please reply

A year has passed....did you have any luck?
I will be glad to help you.
i will try doing this for my son hope it will work because hes been crying everynight because of the pain he suffered from folliculitis
@@baby_ayrin2488 I understand, As it's really frustrating and painful to live life like that. So I read couple of blogs are tried many things out of that this one works for me and thought I will share my experience if in case if that helps anyone.
Anyway I hope things work for your son as it did for me. If he is an infant then only use mild baby shampoo and avoid head & shoulder.
