In this video on scabies patient treatment and management, i have explained what is scabies which is caused by parasite sarcotopes scabei, how scabies is diagnosed under a dermoscope and a microscope, and how it is treated by permethrin lotion. Scabies is one of the very common diseases with which many patients are affected and many doctors receive patients every day who are suffering from scabies. Medicine used for scabies include tablet ivermectin , the dosage of ivermectin tablets has also been explained. it is a high yield topic for all doctors and nurses.

This is the most thorough video on scabies I've seen. Doctor knows his stuff. I especially liked how he mentioned the burning sensation where one has active burrows. I've been doing treatments for 3 months and it feels like it will never-end. I'm starting to think it may be an environmental factor contributing to the reinfestation. And not treatment failure. I've using taking oral Ivermectin and Spinosad Topical Solution. Done a few rounds now. Please excuse me over sharing. Thank you very much for the video, Doctor.
I think it's environmental factors too , I feel like I didn't get them till I had my son . And I feel like they were coming from the diapers I was buying him ; now I have him on washable diapers

It doesn't cost me anything to mix salt into white vinegar to shampoo my hair, soak it for a while n wash my body with it. The white vinegar kills the big bugs and the salt takes care of the baby ones.

my dr took biopsy sample to decide for scabbies as took it as bed bug.
After the treatment,still its nt cured
Permithrin doesn't work anymore, we need something stronger Doctors....???
And unfortunately now most doctors are ignoring the fact that this even exist and a lot of people that I know personally are being misdiagnosed.

It also take like 4 treatments but if your state insurance they give you one dose no pills and you don’t get rid of them.
I'm experiencing the situation where it happens again and again. I've been treated with permethrin and have taken two doses of Ivermectin. It has been three months, and I use permethrin almost every other day. However, pimples reappear within 2-3 days.

what about pets? How do I disinfect my dog at home? My wife contracted it and therefore her, myself, daughter and dog are present at home. No one explains the part about pets. It isn't mange but I believe human scabies can be present on a pet and reinfect a human. Can i use permythrin on the dog too?

I don't how I got mine. I don't visit other people's homes. I don't have any family. There were only 3 ways for me have got it. When I got my tattoo. Where I was in the chair for over an hour. On public transportation sitting in a seat for over 30 minutes. Or one of my students had it but that isn't likely because most contact time is much less than 5 minutes. My itching was on my back and shoulders. I had to go to the ER 4 times before they finally sent my to a dermatologist. The biopsy was negative. But all my other symptoms were there. I finally got the lotion. Put it on twice one week apart and all my symptoms were gone. It felt like I was being eaten alive. It would sting horribly for 15 to 20 minutes then itch like crazy for 2 to 3 hours.
