I am 41 and have had butt acne all my life. It has been horrible & my self esteem has suffered bc of it. Nothing ever worked. I saw this video about 2 weeks ago & ordered a few of the things that you recommended & OMG! Its been about a week of me changing up my routine and I SWEAR I see a very big difference. I just wanted to say thank you, and share my story in case others can benefit from my experience.

I just don't understand we're 41 years old I thought it would be over or at least get easier but I can't believe how it's getting worse!!lol Best of luck on your journey as well.

Something that may help is only wearing natural fiber underwear (like cotton). Synthetic fabrics don't breathe and trap moisture down there, which can contribute to acne and infections.

Its also important to note that it could be a simple fix of switching out laundry detergents, alot of people use those scent beads scented detergents with harsh chemicals, then softeners, then dryer sheets that are scented. All those things can make you break out aswell and i feel like people over look that sometimes and think its hormonal when its just detergent

yall these aren’t the tips from the video but i still wanna say this. ANYWAYSSSS YAWLLL IMA PUT YALL TF ON:
-dr bronners soap (i use tea tree) but get whichever scent u want
-exfoliating gloves, african sponge (just any exfoliating shower tools u can get)
    -cold showers
    -shower everyday
    -unscented lotions
    more tips in my routine!!
lemme tell y’all what i do:
i put on cold water and kinda jus soak my body, put on the exfoliating gloves and put on the dr bronners soap (like a squirt) AND put it under water to let it foam up and also to make sure it’s diluted bc it says so on the bottle, so i jus scrub my whole body (don’t be so rough), rinse off, then i go in with dove or olay bc i love those r my fav brands! if you have hella skin use dove sensitive skin!! 2 soaps sounds like too much but it’s not because the dr bronners soap takes away moisture or hydration chile ion remember but make sure to use a hydrating body wash after! after i get out and use lotion! i use nivea shea butter or just natural shea butter which is very good! another thing ...stop using those cute bath and body works scented lotions, they’re not good. i still use perfume bc it’s not going on my body it’s going on my clothes but yea!!! it’s been like a week and it’s basically gone deadass! anyways nicki minaj is the queen of rap and hope that helped anyone

You mention that you use in the morning vitamin C and Azelaic Acid, could you please tell me how do you apply them? You apply the vitamin C on damp or dry skin? Then, do you wait to apply the Azelaic Acid (I suppose is Azelaic Acid 15% gel -Prescription) and do you use moisturizer or apply the sunscreen on top? Thanks again for your response.

Hi i have hydradénite suppurée and i have struggled for 8 years now, i was on accutane for 2 years, my face acne went away and on my chest too. My back acne has never really went away, i have to hide my scares on my chest and my back, usually break outs happen around my period, i have tried so many tricks, products for acne, tie my hair up after showering, shower every day, never wear the same clothes, drink a lot of water i have a good hygiene, i will soon see a dermatologist in 5 months finally after seeing my doctor once again because my skin disease has come back after changing deodorant, under my armpits, i couldn’t put my arms up since it was hurting too much. Acne is normal, products can help but know this: sometimes you need a little push from a professional to help you with severe acne . I will try those products meanwhile though

@@user-ym7bc9dy9i I’ve had mixed results! I ended up buying 110 Medco benzoyl 10% bar of soap on Amazon for pretty cheap and the CeraVe SA cream. The soap is really been helpful in reducing breakouts but it has stained some of my towels and made the skin on my fingers peel (I’ve started wearing a shower glove and that’s helped). I also recommend using the Stidex pads (max strength) from the dollar store whenever you sweat during the day. I’ve noticed a big difference after using those. My acne is so much better after using these products but beware you do have to be diligent in using them and I still have occasional pimples but it’s nowhere near as bad!

I live in Europe and here benzoyl peroxide is sold only by prescription, and even considering this, you can't find it in the form of a cleanser, there're only a few options available in pharmacies in the form of a leave-on gel. I tried to use it as a leave-on but it gives me very bad irritation even on my body and even at 2.5 percent. I'm thinking about trying to use it as a wash-off: applying it for a couple of minutes before taking shower and then washing it off with a regular shower gel. What do you think about such a method? Can it be effective and are there any potential downsides?

What to use after it? The retinoid serum? Glycolic acid serum? Niacinamide? Moisturizer? Or nothing.

My panoxyl doesn’t exactly foam so it’s hard to tell where it is when I’m the shower. Is there a body’s as brand that you see foams better than the other?

You're saying it's important to get in the shower and wash off anytime you get sweaty in gym clothes, but then you say tight fitting clothing clogs your follicles up which causes acne. Water will just rinse over the surface of the skin and not exfoliate as far as I understand. Should you exfoliate in every post-sweat shower, even if it's not your "main" shower?

yes all these ingredients work but i never know what body lotion to use afterwards because i use a salicylic acid wash but it obviously damaged my skin because my chest went super dry n flaky n very red but the lotion i would use would just break me out it would always develop a spot so *could anyone recommend a gentle and breakout prone body lotion* 🙏🙏

In Europe it‘s really hard to get any of the recommended as for example both Benzoyl as well as Adapalene is not allowed without doctor prescription. Do you see any reason in that? My back acne is not severe but I wish I could help myself with those products. The only available is Salicylic Acid.

I am 24 and I have had body acne(upper part of my back) all my life. However over time I have changed my diet and hygiene. And started using the right body wash. Most of the time I wear oversize tops made of cotton, and my skin condition improved a lot. But I have scars left from my teenage years. And , whenever I am sick, I get some body acne. So I wanted to know how to clean acne scars

i definitely feel like i have folliculitis but the only thing is its not on an area where one would shave? its on my shoulders leading into my shoulder blades. but when i get them, its usually in batches of inflammed bumps which whenever they get popped, blood comes out. i will try to find treatments that is meant for folliculitis and see if that does anything. i’ve been trying BHA treatments but none seem to help it.

Dermadew is an anti skin acne soap that fully reduced my body acne. My problem is I really have a very oily skin and I have acnes on my chest but on my back I have spots which were once acnes, Idk why is that? But it was caused by a lotion and not from the soap. The soap actually helped me reduce that inflammation and clean those areas where bad microbes were hiding. Also those who have oily skin, like really oily, dermadew is a great soap. You can also apply benzoyl peroxide body washes , that helps too. But my recommendation will still be to reach out for a dermatologist if nothing works out well. Because maybe you are destroying your skin health by delaying to reaching out for a dermatologist. Thank you and have a great day amigos :)
