Thanks for the push I needed to get my stash put into Ravelry! I know I’ll find skeins here and there that I missed. But it feels good to have that done. Next I need to organize the totes and mark the locations into Ravelry. I was looking for a recently purchased skein this morning to cast on and had trouble finding it. Sigh….. I did find it but I pulled out a bunch of totes in the process.
Having the locations in is so helpful! It makes me happy to know that I helped give you the push you needed to make your yarn more accessible to you. I’m glad I could help!
You're still doing good, despite the yarn purchases! I think both of us are going to see our yarn in skyrocket in December. If only we could knit faster....
I would suggest finding a pattern first and deciding how much yarn you need (plus a little extra for safety) and dye that amount. Chem Knits is a great dying resource!! Also maybe mix a few combinations and make yourself some mini skeins to test colors?
Doing mini skeins first is a great idea! I can always use them for heels, cuffs, and toes or scrappy blankets. I did watch Chem Knits to see how to make a dye stock and to better understand some of the math behind dying. I couldn’t find anything about making a peachy color though.
That’s so great that you got 10 hanks of the neon tweed yarn. Good luck with your dyeing, I don’t know anything about how to do that so I can’t comment about how to get the peach color.
I’ve done pretty well September not adding to stash. I also finished a blanket so that helps 😁
A blanket is a huge finish 👏🏻 Well done!
@@shaunastitches thank you!

Oh for sure! I went overboard. I do love advents so much though.

I have been stash-upping this year, and I don’t feel too guilty about it. I am still using a good amount of stash.
It’s a very personal journey and nothing I say is meant to make anyone feel guilty or bad. I’m all for a yarn shopping spree 🥳
@@shaunastitches I take none of your comments personally. 😇
Tabitha’s state of stash is a mess. I added 40+ balls this month(knit picks). I blame Neil 😂
Wow! I’ve been tempted to do the same but I’m trying to be good. Or at least less bad than I could be 🤣

Thank you! I’m really hopeful I can make it work.
