178 socks. I just finished bing watching your episodes. I’ve always wanted to knit socks, but I’ve struggled. I knit a Gnome and really enjoyed that while watching. So I started DRK Knits long weekend socks…Oxbow. I’ve finished the first one using a combo of 9” circular and HiyaHiya Flyers. The first dock fits! Thank you for inspiring me to knit a sock!

We’ll see. I did pretty well for my grams in/out for 2024. I’m averaging about 8 skeins in my stash per month. I’m hoping to do about 5 or 6 skeins per month in 2025. 😅

97 socks. Someone's missing a buddy...😂 I got the cozy knitter skein for the first time this year and got it wound up to make my 14yo son socks. I have one project to complete, and they'll be my next cast on. (I may have actually gotten two skeins so I can make myself a pair later on, too. 100% not upset with my decision.) I can imagine how fantastic yours look. If you want to do a round of plain knitting when switching colors, why not just wait until the first stitch of the color change no matter where it is in the round and knit all the way around until you get back to that spot? You mentioned staggering the k2,p2. Would that just give a basket weave or checkerboard effect? I really love your Mabel sweater! And congrats on your sock pattern; it's very cute!
My husband's socks are in there so a missing sock could be a very real possibility 🤣 Aren't the Cozy Knitter socks so fun! Lucky son that you are knitting his up first. I don't think I've ever knit anything checkerboard but I think it could be similar. I should have just waited until the first stitch of the new color to knit plain. As it was I did start at any point in the round where I thought it was necessary. You can't even tell it's not consistent. And...if someone is close enough to my feet to see it is inconsistent they are in very dangerous territory 🤣 Good luck with your guess!
I wish so much I had gotten the freckled whimsy advent and the cozy knitter advent and started knitting them as soon as they came! Then I could actually wear them in December! NEXT year! I love your sweater! Joji’s patterns are great. My guess on single socks is 70 socks!
Every year the 24 stripe sock skeins are a splurge but I do enjoy them so much. Over the years I've been saving my leftovers with the intent of knitting a second pair. I'll have enough if I use another yarn with them. I must be in the generous holiday spirit because I've decided I'll make those variations for my husband. He's very knit-worthy.
