It's not huge, but it's also not small.. it's about 3in longer than a 2021 rav4 hybrid.. about 4in wider.. and about 3in taller.. but the belt line is lower so it's deceiving, and makes it look much bigger.
This style of steering wheel resembles the one in the new Grandeur, which is paying homage to the old Grandeur. The old Grandeur used this style of steering wheel before Land Rover adopted it
I was debating between a Hyundai Santa Fe Calligraphy and a Mazda CX-70 Turbo S. I loved everything about the Hyundai more except for towing capacity. Ultimately, my decision came down to my towing needs. If I wasn't planning on towing, I would've 100% picked the Santa Fe (or Kia Sorento) over the Mazda. The Mazda is still very tech rich and I'm pleased with it. But Kia/Hyundai are killing it by punching well above their price class when it comes to luxury. For reference, a $45K Kia Sorento is better equipped than most $70K+ German luxury brands, and is better equipped and more luxurious than any $60,000+ economy American brand (Ford/Chevy/Chrysler).
Crazy how Hyundai has been absolutely killing it with their late model design choices and they got this car looking so absolutely nice and then ruin it completely with that rear end.
@@aover7220 nah it’s mid 7s. In the original motor trend review of 9sec they made it clear that it was an extremely hot day, later motor trend articles continue use that 9sec figure without the context. Other outlets are reporting mid 7 seconds. And low end is very peppy, ie city driving
Saw one few mins ago at hyvee. Am in dillema now, between this one and Toyota grand highlander, telluride(my favorite). But Grand higlander is more practical since my family has grown up to 8 people and I do more road trips during summer.
Only the Calligraphy comes with two chargers. Seems a bit petty not to give two on more trims, as if they needed the reason to charge so much for the top trim.
Can someone just make a basic vehicle without all the tech? I'll take cloth seats, a steering wheel, power windows and locks, a/c, and a solid, naturally aspirated engine. 😊
Hate to pick on them, but used car lots are full of KIA's, Hyundai's, and Nissan's. Why? Their quality is low. I just punted my Pathfinder. Tired of it being in the shop.
Don't like the back. Who is the designer for Hyundai? You can do better with the back, you always make the back look bad. 2020 model design was fairly ok at the back, I must say.
Midsize? LOL That thing is gigantic, no way it's midsize.
I wanted one when I saw the images before production and was disappointed it was a soccer mom mini van truck
have one. looks huge but it’s deceptive. i had a cx9 and was more cramped inside but it’s actually bigger than the hyundai

They have a deceptive look. In person they aren't as big as they look.
Its short tho, no where near the size of suburban or Tahoe

Ayyyy I knew I wasn't the only one who noticed that!!!
Lmao this type of steering wheel used in old cars way before hyundai was a company. Hyundai is nothing but copy cat
I've seen a couple in my area. Everything looks good... except the back.
Nothing wrong with the back. Get over it.
@mannygonzalez4178 it's trash bruv, get over it
@@mannygonzalez4178except that it’s not easy on the eyes!
I have same feelings about the back design.
Back looks so outdated
I'm loving it I have the hyundai santa fe 2024 calligraphy ❤❤❤

Interior yaaaaas, exterior hail to the naaaaw
Literally, I hate the exterior like why must it be so blocky and robotic looking 😭

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 and the transmission 😢😢😢

10 yrs of spending time in the shop every 2 weeks
Apparantly they sacrificed rear design to make the entire rear open
I’m really loving it I might have to get one
Beautiful designs ❤ so so reliable 🫤 fantastic review as always 🫶🏾🥇🏆 I’m a former Hyundai owner
The CAR CARE NUT REVIEW ENTERING THE CHAT!!! Lets look inside the engine/ transmission and chassis
Hybrid is 👌. Peppy, efficient, and no DCT
Hybrid is the best option..stay away from the DCT transmission 👎👎
I'm not sure I'd call the hybrid peppy...it's like 9 seconds to 60.

Awesome Review love it ✨🚘✨🚙🔑🔑🔑🔑🎊🎀
I love it but why just front wheel ? How about the horse power going up mountains and rough spots ? I’m very interested
That is a very good point!
The back is growing on me!!
Not not me, I need to do quads 😂. But seriously, I don't mind the back at all. Reminds me of the Ford Explorers from Jurassic Park.
Hyundai been turning it up with their designs
I just can not understand the rear design. Everything else is right on the money.
it's all about hinge
Massage settings?!?
Do they still come with the free under the hood BBQ grill?
What massage feature? I’ve only seen it on upper trim Genesis vehicles.
Might get the pine green or all black one.
Awesome car ❤
wish the back wasn’t ugly
Even a mother would be disturbed by a bootie like that.
…..and the transmission goes out 💥
This SUV vs Palisade?
Santafe. Seating is better as well and interior is fantastic

Massage seating for the US Santa Fe?

That is so fantastic Daniel!
The only thing i love about this car is shifter!😅
The transmission seems to have problems already?
Why is everybody doing digital gage cluster?
How much to rent on turo
What convention is this?
Is it safe to park in garage ?
Nice redesign
I have this car but it doesn’t come with the wireless charging feature
Depends on the trim I’m assuming. I have the xrt and it has wireless charging but only one pad
I think I have the base model which is still a luxury car
Only the Calligraphy comes with two chargers. Seems a bit petty not to give two on more trims, as if they needed the reason to charge so much for the top trim.
theyre nice cars but you are showing a caligraphy trim, which is 50k+. Best value trim for this car is SEL at 33-36k
I want to buy one for my Daughter ❤️
Oh she would love it!
I can't wait for the full "on throttle" review. I like the looks of the new Santa Fe. It looks nothing like the Ford Flex.
This looks like a range rover inside tbh
The back spoils it.
How much is this BOX cost?😅
I see what you did there!
So is it a true automatic or a DCT ?! you are confusing viewers..
Looks worse in person. The back looks really ugly and dated already. The interior is really nice.

Compact and subcompact base model Toyotas
Buy an old car then? It definitely costs less to maintain an old car than buy a brand new car with no tech if that's what you want
Look at the Chevy Trax or Buick Envista. You’re welcome
Hyundai put a lot of tech in this toy.
You better believe it!
In Europe this is huge
There is absolutely no way in hell this vehicle goes 0 to 60 in six seconds.
In Germany we got asked why the fuck we need such a gigantic car in USA it's midsize hahaha
Not for it to damage the transmission at 27 miles like Cars Confections Santa Fe blew up TWICE 😂😂😂😂😂
Who let Hyundai make a modern oversized Geo Metro?
It's a dual clutch transmission- DCT. And they are having major issues.
Thanks for staring that intel.
As far as I know the chairs don’t have massage
Śliczny. Takim będę jeździł.
Thats stering wheel is straight out of a range rover😂😂
Man that back ruins it all lol
I miss when cars were cars and not appliances
Calling it midsize is the most American thing I’ve heard in a while.
Yeah, not enough goodies for a vehicle that looks that way on the outside!
Dude, inside, it’s very very gorgeous, but outside, really really ridiculous 😅
2025?
it looks like a ford flex if it still around today. i think the H everywhere looks stupid
Major transmission problems out of the gate. 👎
Not
Hyundai Ford Flex-Land Rover
If really not a around 6 sec 0-60 mph , almost 7,5
The tail end is a little bit hideous
