This OST remake has some of the best muted trumpet parts i've heard anywhere. They even used the stem in the harmon mute for some of this track. No one ever uses the stem!
When an amaaaazing soundtrack is remade, I always end up with a few favorite tracks that I feel aren't as good in the remake (this makes sense, if you're already near perfection in my ears, its much easier to go down than up). I feel this way about the original main battle theme and beware the forests mushrooms, but I was surprised that both boss tracks and ESPECIALLY this track I loved to death in the original but somehow love even more now! Nice going, Shimomura!
Same. I think my preference for the older versions is sometimes the new ones lean harder on certain instruments only hinted in the SNES versions (that presumably couldn't do well techwise) that end up chasing the song a lot.
I'm also in agreement with both of the ones that let you down! Especially main battle theme, BTWM for me is a nicce alternative and not a direct upgrade but yeah they she quite capture the right vibe for the battle theme in my opinion this time round which is fair enough. But yes, this track got SUCH a glow up, I completely overlooked it in the original but it's one of my favourites from the remake!
This is sort of related but this level always makes me want Popcorn Chicken from KFC because the first time I played this level I had a big container of it
CAAAAAAKE Um... that cake looks kind of weird. I think it just...moved?... Yeeeaaaah, I'm gonna go for some Tony's pastries instead. Screw the viking dude's wedding party.
Mario: "In order to defeat Booster, we must acquire a taste for free form jazz."
This comment wins!!😂😂😂❤❤🎉🎉
Wario style music.
Booster looks kinda like Wario. I always thought so anyway haha.
@@NintendoMania Same actually.
They didn't need to go this hard on the song, but I'm so glad they did.
this song is the anthem I'm glad they did :P

Wow awesome explanation on the trumpet!! 😮❤
The old version sounded like a broken muffler but this sounds much better (smoother too ).
This one is sooo good
🤣 😆
hey man i really loved that ‘riding around in a 16-bit tractor trailor’ sound
This one sounds like trash personified. Original version is superior
This is so fittingly bombastic!
I LOVE THIS SO MUCH!!!
This one got an amazing upgrade. Original was kinda meh because of the quality but THIS is fantastic
i didn't completely like the original back then - but nowadays i like that it reminds me of pulp fiction. this one's more prohibition era
How dare you bad-mouth the original! IT WAS AWESOME!!!
@@kyleclair41 Good thing the remake gives us both versions to choose from! I too prefer the original.
one of the better remakes, they made the sax even more farty and angry, perfect
Knowing absolutely nothing about music, I can verify that The words farty and angry would be an official way I would describe music. 🎶😅
I know a lot of people don‘t seem to like this version, but I really enjoyed it, gonna be honest

This was probably my favorite glow-up track in the remake.

I've always a sucker for remade versions in any remade game and this one's no exception. But I'm glad we can agree this one one got such a powerup

Y'know, this song heavily reminds me the ost of the Neverhood
Everybody Wayoh…
this level always made me want Chips Ahoy! Cookies 🍪
It's the colour palette ain't it?
@Xarscum nah the old commercial that was from the 90s had a similar riff
This is sort of related but this level always makes me want Popcorn Chicken from KFC because the first time I played this level I had a big container of it
@r-bean kind of accept I wasn't eating the Chips Ahoy Cookiea while playing the level. I think this level made me crave oreos though 😄
@@RubenZCrazy89 the color palette made me think of chocolate chip cookies! Still need to finish the game tho... I'm in the home stretch.
this Reminds me of the theme in the Pulp Fiction
Bring out the Thwimp
This track got such a glow-up
Jesus christ Yoko, you spoil us
This song is cool and all, but who gave Geno a gun in the thumbnail
lol I wouldn't have noticed without you.
Maybe that's what makes Booster...Booster.
WAIT WHAT?!
sax is so unreasonably filthy
Feeling kinda hungry now. Anyone wanna have a wedding with me so we can have some cake?
CAAAAAAKE
Um... that cake looks kind of weird. I think it just...moved?...
Yeeeaaaah, I'm gonna go for some Tony's pastries instead. Screw the viking dude's wedding party.
You eediot! Zees cake is not moving! Zee?
And drink some punch!
@@michaelschrieber6461 Maybe some Shirley temple with a cherry 🧉🥛ˋ( ° ▽、° )
Such an awesome tune!
I love this at 0.5 speed. So badass jazzy.. Unfortunately the sound quality drops by slowing it down... Still great rhythm.
YOU PICK: BOOOOOOSTAH!!!
Wow listening to this makes me imagine I just entered a casino for some reason
It's the 1920's jazz that fits the American speakeasies of the era.
Who translated these titles?
A funny man.
The original will always be better. This sounds a bit cheesy.
BLEH!! They ruined this one. Original version FTW
Taking notice how long they made this track compared to the others. 😆
