I've always thought Booster seemed like a stand-in for Wario. Kind of like how the Chained Kongs are based on Donkey Kong. If you think about it, they basically got all of the era's major Mario characters represented in the game.
@@zk7830 I'm glad Booster got to be his own character though. Warios characterization has gone in a much different direction since then and I absolutely love that for him, but I like that Booster is almost like a time capsule to what Wario could have been.
I was initially sceptical of this track whenever I first heard it in a trailer, but whenever I got around to playing the game and hearing the full thing OH MY GOD Best in the game. Its clear the team loves Booster as much as he should be loved.
Honestly the best damn track in the game, and this version is so better! I love the second version of the song that plays after the first one ends! Truly worth dancing along to!
@@kazennaOkay, what I meant by “second version” is the repeat of the melody that plays. Essentially, you get the melody the first time, and when it plays again, that’s the part I meant.
Booster's Tower will always be my favorite part of this game. The platforming, the puzzles and secrets, this banging jazz, it's all brilliant, and Booster himself is definitely my favorite new character from this game, he's just such an adorable derp :3 It was so nice to see him get a true sky GF in the end
THE REMAKE'S OST DID NOT NEED TO GO THIS HARD WTF 🔥🔥🔥🔥 I didn't think it was possible to have a remake of a game improve, modernize, and surpass the game's original OST, especially one as good as the original Super Mario RPG. But here we are 💯💯💯💯
Best track for the best whacko. I only played through the OG snes version last year, but this game, remake or original, is already up there with some of my favorite games of all time
I heard this in the trailer and thought oh it sounds fine but nothing special. Holy fuck was i wrong when i heard the full version, this is by far the best song on an already great ost.
Fun Fact:In spanish,Booster's name is "Costarugo",one of the many means of the word "tarugo" is "dumb",which it fits him cuz........he's actually pretty dumb lmao

Omg i just experienced this with my daughter. "This is daddy's favorite song coming up" First minute, I'm thinking i like the old one better. Then... holy shit.
Ngl, in my opinion even if I like this song (is one of my favorites songs of the game), I guess for this one I still prefer the original one. This version really hit it in the arrangements, the sax and the piano were incredible, but the reason I still prefer the original one are the drums. I guess this version is still missing something that the original has, but that does not mean the song is bad.
I'm starting to see a pattern with that in the remake's library of arrangements. The leading instruments knock it out of the part and vastly outclass the limited, dare I say "dated" instrumentation from the original tracks, generally speaking. Yet somehow... they lack the same percussion oomph the original tracks had. I don't know if SNES drums and related instruments just stuck out more due to compression, but this and Fight Against Smithy lack that same sort of percussion their original counterparts had, in my opinion anyways. For that reason, I like this as much as the original.
This version is great but I’m still partial to the original, the bass is severely missing in this version lol, I also miss the more western/somber isolated feel of the original. This rendition feels full of energy and life, Which dose not fit boosters creepy hermit character. The original sounded gross, creepy, cool and somber. This version kinda sounds like a party remix of the original. Not bad by any means but it doesn’t really hit the vibe the original has
God, we better fucking get some Super Mario RPG music in the next eventual Smash. Even if we can't get Mallow or Geno as a character, a stage based on the remake with a few songs would be glorious.
