Thank you for all the info you provide! I don’t think you did anything to cause DOR. Sometimes it just happens. I hope you are resting well and being kind to yourself.
DOR, has more to do with genetics than anything else. we don't choose genetics. We can try to improve by epigenetics, but the doctors say: if you had your Menarca ( first period) before 12 years old or after 15, and your mother got in menopause before 45 years old, u mostly Like can have DOR . Rapamycin is the new drug in studying for our situation.
@@janem5142 hey there! It’s not typically done in Korea and you have to pull a lot of strings for it to be legal. Korea has a ways to go to catch up! My issue is more having to do with creating healthy embryos vs carrying, so it’s not something that I am considering atm.
Hi Hellyn! Im also going through a similar journey! Consider asking for a hysteroscopy to check the uterus lining and if there's any polyps. My doctor suggested it for my treatement as an additional measure to ensure the baby stays sticky!
Hi Lynn, you radiate so much love and joy. You were created perfect. I know sometimes we feel like we are a broken due to our infertility. I know that feeling. I keep reminding myself that my future baby needs a happy mom and that my baby will see how much I have yearned to have him/her. If you ever need to talk, I am here for you. Thank you so much! What a beautiful, uplifting comment. I agree that our future babies need a happy mom, but it’s also important that we don’t repress anything because this journey can be so heavy. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers .. wishing you lots of baby dust 💕💕💕
Right now I am going through my 1st round ivf cycle..it is really hard to stay calm in this situation...my transfer will be within a very short time..dont know what is waiting for me...I am also taking treatment here in korea..best wishes for you❤️❤️❤️
I ordered one, with your code. I’m 36 years old, and got really low amh, and I really want to get more insight in my hormones. I’m really curious if I benefit from it. 🌸
I also have low AMH level as well. I was 36 when I found out it was 0.4. In a period of 3 months it went down to 0.08 before I started IVF last year. We went thru 1 IUI, 1 IVF that failed and converted to IUI, and 3 successful IVF. I also did back to fertility treatment in the year. It was tough and emotionally stressed. For the successful IVF first round we retrieved 5 embryos but only one survived to day 6 to be frozen for genetic testing. IVF cycle 2 we retrieved 5 follicles but only 3 eggs were found from it and only 1 survived. IVF cycle 3 we also retrieved 5 follicles and only 3 fertilized. 1 died, 1 frozen but was diagnosed with Down syndrome from genetic test and 1 was fresh transfer. While doing IVF, I read in research that women who make few eggs like us has higher chance of pregnancy from fresh embryos transfer in comparison with those who make 10 per cycle would benefit from frozen. You should talk to your doctor and consider fresh transfer since frozen eggs hasn’t work in your favor. I had my second fresh transfer a few weeks ago and is pregnant right now. I’ve been having pain near left of my pelvis instead of the center of the pelvis so I’m worried it’s ectopic pregnancy but it’s too early to see it on ultrasound. I hope everything goes well for our baby and also hope the best for you.
@@jadormycc8819 That makes me so happy to hear that you were successful with your IVF cycle! Gives me some hope. I have a few questions regarding the science of doing fresh transfers? How many days old was your embryo for the fresh transfer? Can you point me to any research or reasoning behind the claim that fresh transfers are better for women with DOR? Thank you so much! Its an interesting suggestion and I was considering fresh transfer just based off of shorter timeline, but would love to learn what you know
@@jadormycc8819 oh thats so weird! I wonder if youtube blocked it bc of mentioning the names of certain meds (FB seems to do that sometimes)?! Maybe we can take our convo off YT. Can you maybe DM me on instagram (@hellynn) or email me (hellynn@zenamie.com)? Really curious about whether fresh transfers is the way to go next.

@@hellynn_j yaa you are still young, change your diet, you will be ok dear. Ask your doctor for Duo-stim. For people with low ovarian reserve it seems to work better than just back to back.
This device seems unncessarily pricey for women who are already paying a lot for fertility treatments. Ovulation test kits are a small fraction of the cost. And fertility clinics would be running lab tests on things like your progesterone levels.
@@Light-h6h Sure, it’s not for everyone. OPKs are a great option too, just a lot less accurate but it works for many women. And I was tracking my progesterone mostly to check daily progress at home!
For what is does, it definitely saves money for people like me who don’t have good insurance and can’t afford the crazy costs of a fertility Dr. It definitely does more than just the cheap ovulation strips.

Would love a video on your take on using a surrogate to carry your embryos. Would that potentially help the odds? Is something commonly done in Korea?
