Would add with Triple Splashdown 2 tips for whoever is trying to learn either of the two weapons with it and still thinks it's just a panic button. 1- You can make fists spawn on higher ground or even behind walls (such as Manta's snipe one) as long as the head of your character reaches the same hight of that ground. With a Squid Surge you can get that extra hight which means you can reach even higher areas. This is something I loved and adds a lot more of technicality to the special not only making it a panic button but also a lethal explosion without having to take risks. 2- The fists appear at 45 degrees from where you were originally looking with your camera at the moment of the activation, if you know you can get killed by a backliner and you know its position you can flick the camera those 45 degrees to use one of your fists as a "sprinkler" to tank damage.
Abusing the “arcing” capabilities of it is my favorite thing to do. Custom explo uses it on scorch gorge center to hilarious effect. You rise above any attempts to splat you with a roller or something and can hit them if they try to use the ledge to avoid it, maintaining your superior position.
To add to the missiles part, if you're being targeted, don't retreat along the objective line or you may end up painting an entry route for the enemy team. This can be really detrimental on Rainmaker and Clams.
Ideas for buffing Wavebreaker: 1: While your marked from getting hit, you can't heal the damage. (it's way to easy to heal from it before you can be comboed, inspired by that one bug) 2: Increase the hight the shockwaves protrude above the ground. (Chara's idea, not mine) 3: increase the vertical range of the Shockwaves, so they can hit terrain even lower and/or higher than it currently can. 4: increase the number of shockwaves from 3 -> 4
Reefslider tip as a dapple dualies main: Sometimes it's better to safely get ink on the floor. If you know you will die: trade. If you aren't sure, then slide to a safe place and run. You get ink on the floor and survive. Also personally as a dapple aain, throw a tọrọ before sliding to make it a pain to dodge. It should rarely be a panic button. More team support when they get in a battle, or finishing weak foes. It should also be used to cut off opponents movements. Remember, this thing is almost UNFAIRLY huge. If they have any DMG and get even grazed they are dying. What dapple mains will do to not be overshadowed by Tetras ^^^

something else with tacticooler is that the cooler itself makes for really good cover if you use it in the right spot. You can throw it on tower at a checkpoint or near a knockout to limit the enemy team's angles to attack the tower rider and get easy points, or particularly with heavy edit you can use it like a niche splash wall. Put it in an open area where you otherwise might get shot at.
I love tenta missiles, but they're easy to deal with. Someone said this about Tenta and it's worth including - when you're marked for missiles, have a way out. You don't want to be the person who has two people heading for you, plus missiles coming down, and suddenly you don't have ink to escape in. I've made that mistake too many times.

At the time of me posting this comment, Splattercolor Screen is still causing people with accessibility issues to have seizures, migraines, etc. so for now, until this is fixed, just don’t use it. I understand it’s a cool, and new, special, but you never know when you could end up actually hurting somebody outside of the game.
5:08 the other day i managed to snipe an ultra stamp user, in rush mode, facing towards me (was at a safe distance on high ground, they were going for teammates) yeah it was a bit lucky but i felt proud of it
Something useful to remember for parrying splashdown is that the hands land later then the player does, so if you parry the latter 2 hitboxes you will tank 2 of the 3 hitboxes and live a lot more.
Wanna add on to this, Inkjet and Zipcaster have to land so it's sometimes better to wait for them to land. Smart players will hide their landing spots so have you or a teammate look for their landing spot if you can assuming you guys are in vc but this doesnt mean you should always do this either Missles, try not to get cornered and take cover in areas with a roof if you can and use their ink to build your special which can really help sometimes Killer wail, try not to also get corned by them, try to keep them close together and jump over them if you get targeted but make sure you watch out for your opponents as well in or lead it away from your team as well as missles like Chara mentioned with kraken
A REALLY nice tip for against vac for brella users the canopy completely nullifys the shot damage meaning you can catch it with the canopy and have it explode on you without a scratch on you...just be sure to to walk foward PAST where you caught the shot or it with kill ya this works with all brellas but splat and under do it better since they ready faster

I want to add a tip for and against Ultra Stamp that I found while playing, though I play casually so Idk how useful this'll be haha. But maybe it'll help someone :) Use stamp to delete all enemy enemy fire. It's a bit obvious but I almost never see it and idk if some people just forget about this feature after instantly throwing the hammer so many times. From the more obvious like eating bombs or other specials, to blocking off highground on certain maps letting your team score. And my tip against Ultra stamp is a bit niche and more of an emergency cornered animal kinda tip lol. But almost all rollers can roll over it if it's rushing at you (I haven't tested dynamo though). Basically if it's tunneling you and you have no way to go or otherwise feeling brave you can just call their bluff and roll at them. If you have a flingza or regular roller then, depending on lag, you will outright kill the stamp and live, if you weren't going fast enough you'll probably trade though. Non-one shot rollers need the stamp to be damaged to kill it of course
Really don't understand why the Reefslider explosion doesn't delete bombs when Triple Splashdown, Booyah Bomb, and even Ultra Stamp can. Few other things I've discovered while playing: Thermal Ink a great ability to run with Screen. When getting chased by Kraken, try standing near the edge of the stage, a water hazard, or on grates (I've had various instances where a opponent attempted to get a change kill only to throw themselves off the stage a few seconds late.)
I really hope they fix screen soon. If you throw it in front of snipe, enemy backlines can't see you and have to move. But I'm not using it until they fix it.

Wavebreaker works amazing when you add a couple of Special ability chunks. Just make sure you hide the breaker behind a wall.

As someone who plays tac shooters, I like how similar to smokes the splatscreen is, it's applications and counterplay transfer over pretty well
it's good minus the huge accessibility problem. which while it doesn't affect me it does affect alot of other people and for a pvp game it's an issue

Recently got a 3-splat with one splat bomb on a tacticooler, which gave us a wipeout. I felt so cool.
Also remember that inc vacs beat booyah bombs
