This has not really answered the question on people who are retired here and vlogging on TH-cam and being paid by TH-cam is it illegal?

I love the grounded reality of this channel!!!
Retirement took a toll on my finances, but with my involvement in the digital market, $15,000 weekly returns has been life changing. AWESOME GOD ❤️

I feel sympathy and empathy for our country, low income earners are suffering to survive, and I appreciate Marc Andreessen. You've helped my family with your advice. imagine investing $30,000 and receiving $95,460 after 28 days of trading.

No doubts, this Marc Andreessen must be an icon; how good is he and how safe is "profit making" with him.?

Given the negative impact of so called influencers on many countries, if their videos are monetized said countries should be paid tax as the "content creator" went there to result in gaining income and notoriety.

So What's the deal for all the foreignor influencers/TH-camrs living full time here in Thailand and posting videos every day with thousands of viewers and receiving significant proceeds from youtube.
    Are they considered working here.?
    Are they pushing it?

Any income created as a result of an activity taking place in Thailand is deemed taxable in Thailand in the same Calendar year it is received regardless of where it is paid and the recipient’s tax resident status (Source - Personal Income Tax On Thai vs Foreign Sourced Income ACCLIME THAILAND). I can understand Thailand not enforcing this against visiting YTers who are not tax residents but why are Thailand tax resident YTer’s who also make money promoting sponsors, selling merchandise, books, courses, 1 on 1 consultations etc allowed to get away not paying taxes and will
this continue if they fail to make a tax return or make a false return which have penalties and statute of limitation where no tax return had been filed is 10 years. If nothing else this is bad optics when the same YTers openly tell their viewers they get their visas and work permits through agents or are on retirement visas, their YT++ money is paid overseas and not declared as Thai sourced income etc. Not many are going to believe anything has changed until we see a few of these YTers++ are brought to book.

Who is the prosecuting authority when it comes to work permit violations? Tourist police? Immigration Police? Labour Department? all 3? Or would the TP and IP investigate the allegation and pass the file to the DoL for prosecution?

Thailand does not give these remote workers work permit because you have to work for a thai company, so there is no legal way to work. So of course the work without permit.

True, However, the DTV visa should solve that issue once it’s launched. But there are some TH-camrs selling courses in how to run an Airbnb business in Thailand (without a work permit of course). I have a lot of questions about these guys. Who is responsible for policing them ?

@@nedz291 it will solve nothing. First of all it may never come :D And is not for people living here. Is for people who travel for a time and go back to there country.

So what work authorisation do the many monetised content creators on TH-cam and TikTok who live in Thailand have. There must also be tax implications for them also.

Why everybody wants to be a TH-camr in Thailand? To loaf around on audiences hand outs? Get a real job.

They all should have work permits but it's not enforced. One day there will be a crackdown, it's inevitable. Most TH-camrs are so narcissistic that think they are providing some kind of valuable service to the country
