We filed for AoS back in May 24 she has had her biometrics 160 day ago we have not received any information since then. still no work permit how do we check on the status of our case or contact them ? Thank you for your information
Mine had already gone pass 90 days and all I can see facing me everyday is extreme financial hardship. Everytime I call all they keep doing is giving me more time to wait. I honestly don't think they really care about majority of the applicants behind the application. I strongly believe they just give you when they personally feel like. This had been a broken system for so many years now and all politicians do is just make big promises and until now majority of us as applicants suffer every day because we are seen as (NOBODY)
I introduced an inquiry three months ago. Still waiting a response. I introduce an expedite a month and a half ago and I am still waiting. USCIS is not taking action with this, They only say: you have to wait.
This is really frustrating and have an urge to just leave and go back to my country I've been waiting almost 7 months for my work permit I have two kids I have to feed and I don't understand how they're so quick to take the money but take forever to do it I have rent to pay and I don't know if I'll end up homeless in a shelter this is a nightmare

The sad part is if she had come to the country illegally and was allowed to stay she would have gotten a work permit a long long time ago. It is as if the government prefers illegal immigrants.

If someone is on a F1 visa currently working under an OPT EAD and has already filed an I-485 concurrently filed with a I-765, can they work while the I-765 is pending? The concern is that the OPT EAD will expired soon but the EAD based on I-485 (c)(9) (spouse/sponsor is a US Citizen) has not yet produced/arrive. Biometrics were already completed more than 30 days ago. Priority date for the I-485/I-765 was over 100 days ago. Still waiting for EAD card based on the pending I-485.

@@softysaini4478 I did my approval with in a week after I expired. And card in had after 2 weeks. I called and waited for 106mins before someone picked up and requested that they expedite, due to being a nurse and potential for nurses quitting due to mandate, I was told they couldn't expedite my case due being daca, I thanked her and hang up .. filled out a positive after call survey. I also reached out to my local congress representative for help, am not sure which worked but they got back to me faster than normal, reddit was a good resource. Best of luck

Idk wich state you live but here in utah you can get drivers privilege. You need to get finger printed in an specific place and take that envelope with you to the dmv and then they allow you to have a drivers privilege that allows you to drive just in the state where was issued.
I am daca recipient I’ve call ucis they say that daca is eligible to use the receipt notice with letter saying extension notice. Daca is under category c33 it don’t qualify for automatic extension but since uscis is taking long they now allow daca to use receipt notice to show to your employer that I can use this while I’m waiting for my new ead card . Does anyone this new thing they doing for now ???

You can renew your DL with i797C the receipt will make DMV renew it, I am talking about California I don’t know other states but you can try
