Grace, I have been wanting you to make a jumpsuit for a while now it turned out so well it is easy and, so cute. Girlfriend, I love your tender heart you are always supporting other sewist channels. I am thanking God for answering prayers for Zoey it is truly a miracle. Grace, I love you so much, and congratulations on your win.
Hi Grace! Yay for Zoey’s recovery ❤ Your earrings are perfect for your jumpsuit fabric! I have that pattern but have not made it yet. Thank you for the heads up on the back tie situation. I love looking thru the older patterns in the drawers! I like finding ones I overlooked when they were new and I was not interested in at the time, but have since changed my mind and decided I would like to give them a try after all.
Your jumpsuit turned out so cute!! It reminds me of the A-SMILE jumpsuits we wore in high school. Very cute!! Gr8 fabric choice! ❤ Cute swimsuit pattern! McCalls 8501 dress has been out of stock at my JoAnns. Im keeping my eye out for it. It's so cute!! 🎉
Thanks! I plan to wear the jumpsuit to our girls luncheon this Friday. I hope you find the McCalls M8501 dress at the next McCalls sale. I will post the sale here on my Community page.
I love that Jumpsuit on you so much, I haven't seen you in wide legged cropped pants before I don't think and they are my favourite ❤. Thanks so much for sharing your pattern haul, you got some good ones. Such wonderful news about Zoey 💕🐶what a trouper! Xx
Awww thanks Carole! I love the wide legs! I need to sew up more wide leg pants. They are so comfortable and stylish. I hope you had a great time in the states. Are you back home yet? Zoey is amazing. Thank you for your comments and prayers. God bless you! 🥰😍😘
Hi Grace, so glad Zoey is doing better, dogs are such wonderful creatures. Your makes are always so beautifully made. I have that exact same tape measure that was gifted to you, I like it because it also has the fractional inches which I find so helpful.
Beautiful jumpsuit, Grace. Such a lovely sewing project. Thanks for the review. I am excited about your pattern haul and appreciate your community board where you keep us informed of these sales.
@@sewlovelywithgrace So much luv & appreciate to you! You are so very welcome. The tape measure has inches & fractions. I luv it! I hope that they will be of some assistance to you!SWEET SEWING INSPIRATIONS!
Hi Grace! That top gathering must be a drawstring then? I missed that 🙃 If the gathering at the top was also with elastic it would be easy peasy to get in and out of.... That would take a couple of minutes haha, but would make that doable. Great video, jumpsuit and nice gifts!
Grace I was thinking the same thing about switching the front and back so that you can tie it in the front. I will do that as I have the pattern as well. I just subscribed to Arleathia's channel thank you for the suggestion. I love that you mention other sewists channels :) I love to follow as many sewists as possible
Awww thanks! I really appreciate that. She is a great sewist and very generous. I want to try the full jumpsuit sometime. I love that view and it's easy to get in and it looks like it's easy to get in and out of.
Grace, a great job as usual. And the material suits it really well. I’m so sad we are into fall patterns now. We are enjoying a warm summer day, but we are already talking about when will we get snow and how cold will it get here. Anyway, glad Zoey is doing great. You know how much we support you and appreciate your channel. Look forward to see what’s up for next week. ❤
Yes Barb, I agree with you that Fall came too quick. I rather sew summer patterns. But I do have great plans in the coming months. I truly appreciate your support. Zoey is doing GREAT! 🥰💖
I’m really thrilled to hear that Zoey is so much better, Grace! I’m loving the patterns that you showed. The “holiday” dress and the sarong style dress speak to me! 😘
Oooh thanks Lynn! Zoey is a miracle. I made the sarong dress and it's so quick and easy. I definitely plan to make the holiday dress this year. I just have to find that perfect fabric. Thanks for watching and have a FAB weekend!!!!! ❤🩹❤🩹❤🩹
You got some great patterns, Grace! Can you believe it? Sewing for the holidays already???? It will be here before you know it! The news about Zoey is absolutely wonderful! She's a fighter! And she's in such great, loving, caring hands!! Keep up the good work!!!
Thanks Deb! It's like a hospital here with the IV fluids LOL But she's good about it. It only takes 5 minutes to hydrate her. She's doing great. Thanks for your support Deb. Have a great weekend! 🥰
Love the new looks in your pattern choices! Lots of cute options in there! And I'm very happy to hear Zoey's a new babygirl! Miracles do happen, and I'm glad one happened for her. :D The overalls are adorable! Have a happy weekend!!
I thought about tying at the front too, or maybe at the shoulders, if a bow at the front is not wanted. How odd they made a pattern that needs another pair of hands to dress in. Might be ok at home if you have another member of the household to assist, but what about going to the bathroom when out and about? Accost a stranger to assist with dressing? 😂 it’s a very nice outfit though, hope it works out for you Grace.
Grace, I am so happy for you and Zoe. Such wonderful news. Your jumpsuit is so cute. On the back, stitch the straps at the length you want them. Pull out and cut the remaining drawstring.(Leave a piece to sew the elastic to,) Insert an elastic instead. You could make a faux bow out of the remaining drawstring and permanently attach it. That should make getting in and out of it easier. So many great patterns, so many projects. Happy sewing! ✂ Bernadette
Wow!! I'm so glad you found my channel. Welcome! I hope you enjoy it. I just subscribed to yours!!! I'm excited to watch your videos. Have a blessed week! 🙏💝💝💝
Thankful Zoey is getting better. About the jumpsuit, you can always Switch and make the back the Front. I got a couple of jumpsuit patterns from New Look, I want to try before the weather changes. Thanks for sharing.
I recently made a dress in which th bodice had a tie that made the strap like ke your jumpsuit-except- the tie was in the back! Easy peasy to get in and out of!
The jumpsuit is very cute on you. To fix the problem with getting in and out by yourself you could replace the part of the ties that go through the casing with elastic then you could leave it permanently tied at the back. Hope this helps. Great to see your pattern purchases as they always give me new ideas.
Hi Grace… as always everything looks “Lovely” on you! Thanks for the shout out. The dress with the ruching at the side will be perfect on you. The jumpsuit is so pretty… I wouldn’t like the tie being at the back. I wonder if there is any way to move the tie to the front or even one of the shoulders? It’s so pretty on you and the fabric is so pretty. I’m thanking God that Zoey is doing well. Miracles do happen. Have a great weekend… ❤ Diann
Thanks for the idea Diann. ❤🩹 It's crazy how they designed the ties. It didn't even occur to me that I would have a problem until it was done! 🤣🤣 Have a great weekend!
Hi Grace, so good to hear about Zoey! So awesome to hear you give credit to our Lord Jesus. He is our only hope in all things. I like the jumpsuit. I wonder, do you think it would work to put the tie in the front? I'd like to make it but I'd never be able to use the ladies room when I'm out. Many blessings to you dear.
Hi Cherrie, Thank you. Yes, Jesus never lets me down. He always listens and comes thru! Yes, the tie in the front would have been a better option. Many blessings to you Cherrie.
I love the jumpsuit, The closure doesn't make sense at all. How about making it so that it ties in the front. or could you put elastic in the front so you can pull it on and off? Just a thought. Thanks for showing the pattern haul . Our Joanns had simplicity on sale last week this week is Vogue.
I watch your channel so much and I have seen you in many of your outfits that you make, but I will have to say this one is not my favorite on you. I am wandering myself why they designed this pattern so no one could get out of it. I think, an this is only my opinion. But I think you would look lovely in view D with however a different fabric. Hope I didn’t hurt your feelings about my opinion, just being honest. Have a great week. See you next time.😊
Barb, you did not hurt my feelings at all. You gave an honest opinion and I welcome that. Thank you Barb for your honest comment. I need to hear that. Thank you for watching. Have a fabulous weekend.🥰
First of all I think we all have to make at least one jumpsuit to realize just how impractical and difficult they are to wear. There's no reason you couldn't have cut that top longer put elastic in the bottoms and worn them as two pieces. But if you want to wear that one you need to put a piece of elastic in the front where it tunnels through the casing and two pieces in the back where it tunnels through the casing. There's no way you can wear that thing otherwise because you won't be in the bathroom with anybody to tie it up. 😮
Grace I just found you! You are absolutely so adorable! I have subscribed! Great job!
