I received a green piece that was about 2.5 yes. It looks similar to the blue (the first one out of the bundle). To me it felt like a raincoat/outerwear fabric. I still haven't used it yet.

Great fashion fabric bundle! I would wash that first blue one - the blue polyester - maybe after you wash it you'll get a better feel for what to do with it. Sounds like it has sizing on it. I'd make some cushion covers out of it - or maybe a light weight rain jacker - or a wearable muslin.
Love an estate sale with sewing goodies! Sooo much of my sewing room is filled with things I have found at estate sales! You really got some great fabrics in your mystery bundles. That was odd. I wonder why they called it a craft bundle. They all looked like fashion fabrics to me. They were all lovely fabrics again in both bundles. You are so lucky. I would use the blue polyester for pants toils on patterns you need to practice on first.
Hello Grace! First time commenting but I’ve watched your channel for a while now. You sew some nice garments and I like to see you model them also! Although I’m personally not a big fan of Fabric Mart Fabrics you did get some nice fabrics in your two bundles. That blue coarser bundle in your 10/ yd fabric bundle sorta reminds me of a rip stop nylon like fabric. Only thing I thought of was to sew flags as there are cute outdoor decorative patterns in the pattern books to make them. But I buy my smaller decorative outdoor flats for seasons or holidays, that’s not something I’d enjoy sewing.,,, or is it even possible to sew up into a very simple throw over the head cape, esdy Peary style,,, for rainy days just to keep in your vehicle for a pop up rain shower??!! I know you get them often there in Fla. as our my oldest twin daughter lives near Bradenton and we visit every winter. Just throwing out some ideas, otherwise I don’t think it’s going to make a very good garment at all, I wouldn’t even waste time trying but just my little old opinion,,,, Or maybe use it for the men’s shoe bags or shoe bags for you too when you travel?!! I never want my shoes near my clothing in my suitcases when we travel! But,,,,Is it even good enough to take time to sew up anything? Have a great wknd!!! Happy sewing too!! Nancy from northern IN.

If your ever in Atlanta we have a fabric store To me is worth the drive = it’s called Fine Fabric / it’s as big as three Walmart’s I am not kidding / rolls and rolls of fabric / most all fabrics are 60 wide the prices average between 4/ 5 $ some maybe 9$ ; I’ve been buying fabric from them for 4 years ALL the fabric is exactly like it says FINE FABRIC I have washed and wore everything I’ve made PeRFECT fabric ! They have two in the Atlanta area one in Norcross ga and the one I like is in Commerce GA- check them out on the Internet only down side is they are only open 2 days a week / if u love to sew and I’ve watched your web sight for a while u will love it I promise / I work all week my day off is Monday and that’s my treat for the week

The last $20 Fashion Fabric bundle I got from Fabric Mart,about 2 months ago, was such a disappointment to me. I had 6 yds of fabric and 4 yards of SEW IN INTERFACING. WTH? I couldn’t believe it. No more mystery bundles from Fabric Mart for me.

If your ever in Atlanta we have a fabric store To me is worth the drive = it’s called Fine Fabric / it’s as big as three Walmart’s I am not kidding / rolls and rolls of fabric / most all fabrics are 60 wide the prices average between 4/ 5 $ some maybe 9$ ; I’ve been buying fabric from them for 4 years ALL the fabric is exactly like it says FINE FABRIC I have washed and wore everything I’ve made PeRFECT fabric ! They have two in the Atlanta area one in Norcross ga and the one I like is in Commerce GA- check them out on the Internet only down side is they are only open 2 days a week / if u love to sew and I’ve watched your web sight for a while u will love it I promise / I work all week my day off is Monday and that’s my treat for the week
