Kindly, aik lesson jo hum Pakistanion ko is Russia-Ukraine war se jo mila hai, jo humen seekhna chaiye. Wo ye hai k, aap ko CTBT yaad hai jo humse US sign karaana chahta tha, yani k hum apne nuclear assets zaaya kar den just like Ukraine did in 1991. Ukraine destroyed its Nuclear weapons and became a NATO ally.

Russia has not been excluded from SWIFT as of yet and there is division among Western allies in taking a collective decision on this. It is very unlikely that Russia will be excluded as it will disrupt the entire global financial system and immensely disturb western economies, and of course, it will push Moscow to side with Beijing in introducing an alternative to SWIFT. At the end of the day it will challenge the US dominance in global financial system.

I'm not sure if they have permanently excluded Russia from SWIFT or not but SWIFT is not working in Russia as of now. I wanted to send salary to my Russian Employee and although I tried multiple methods including SWIFT, no bank or service is sending money to Russia.

Sir but don't you think regarding this historic visit discussion must've taken place in PM's circle as well prior and what it will likely entail. Because Ukraine was encircled well before PM's departure. I think this was all pre planned even from our end. And we although have expressed that we are not a part of any bloc but yet we did demonstrate our inclination plus the Chinese remarks are extremely important.
It was encircled but no one had thought that Russia would actually invade. I feel like Putin tricked Imran into visiting Russia right at the moment when he was about to declare war on Ukraine in order to maybe isolate Pakistan from the west and leave no option for us other than joining Russia's camp.

When a leadership visits a country it's not merely just the PM or the President it's in fact the entire foreign office, security and political advisors, so don't you think that they must've discussed the reprecusions prior, to any possible future development. And if Imran was for the sake of argument tricked then his body language should reflect the surprise he recieved after arriving but he instead conducted meetings with business heads and in fact Putin himself extended his own meeting to 3hrs. What and why do you suppose Putin would have a meeting with a dumbfounded PM for 3hrs?

Hey Junaid you missed 2 points here.
First is the annexation of Crimea by Russia and second is the prevailing 7 year of unrest and war in eastern ukraine since 2014 change if regime in ukraine.
Third is the demographics of Ukrainian population.
Ukraine sold us 300 T-80UD Tanks despite pressure of India and in Feb 2021 we again made a deal for the upgradation of those tanks so in these times of crisis our pm was in Russian which directly gave Ukraine a message that we are standing with Russia. I'm kinda feeling sorry of Ukraine.....May Allah bring peace and prosperity around the globe Aameen.
What Russia can give and help Pakistan, Ukraine cannot do. Also its the Ukraine own stupidity for thinking and joining NATO. They are being fooled always

You are right about the motives of Russian attack over Ukraine, some of other reasons also include the dam that Ukraine constructed that cut-off water supply to Crimean Crops (doubts about the actual location).
Also, the Western states are behaving in the same way like they did when Germany attacked Poland and England just focused on doing a peace treaty that was until Churchill came and declared war on Germany.

Russia can continue to utilise SWIFT since the European Union has determined that restricting Russia's access to SWIFT will have a detrimental impact on them more than on Russia, and Russia also has its own SPFS similar to SWIFT that they can incorporate into China's alternative SWIFT code, known as CIPS. Russia was well aware of what they were getting themselves into, and every step was deliberate. Germany was the NATO country that posed the greatest threat to Russia, but they have it under control.
Vladimir Putin's invasion of Ukraine is costing Russia somewhere from 2 to 20 billion dollars everyday and at the time of me writing this they haven't even occupied a single city in Ukraine while having a military 5 times as big as them . very aware indeed.

So let me educate you on something, Russia is getting cut off from SWIFT, negotiations between Russian and Ukrainian delegations have already taken place and a round 2 is being scheduled soon. Everyone thought it was a bluff but they aren't taking that chance anymore with russia's recent nuclear threat (diversion or not). So yeah, 2 billion or 20 billion, Ukraine has come to table for negotiations.
