You are right. I myself witnessed the great resignation in South Korea, every citizen was on the streets demanding resignation from the president and she did resign after a week of peaceful protests. This is how democracy should be, the people should be able to bring and throw out governments.

When we got to know about the no confidence vote, and that Khan Sahab was ousted, there was a weird feeling in my chest, and after ranting for an hour about how these people will destroy our lives again, I burst into tears, minutes later, my mom started crying seconds later my 12 y/o sister started crying, a 9 y/o kid had tears in her eyes, we were so devastated because I remember when I was a kid (when zardari was in power) I used to be terrified hearing what was happening in the country and now that I’ve grown up that feeling of being terrified is back again, but with that I know that it’s high time we stand up for OUR rights, that feeling is there but I know that we don’t know have to give up! I told my mom on that night “k kal agar hum nhi niklenge sarkon pey ye humaare sar pey char jayenge” and who are these looters to provide governance to us when they themselves are not a proper government, I don’t want to go through what my mom, her mom went through.
In India, we have a person charged with rape and once banished by law, as our Home Minister and a person that UN charged for Gujarat massacre of 2002 as PM, and a complete goon convicted several times of crime as our CM. And now, our neighbour treads the same path.

I feel the same way like you as a young new mother. I have tears in my eyes. My Abu took us to Canada in 2010 because of all the attacks happening in Peshawar and since my Abu was a Dr. he was also being targeted. Those first few months in Canada I missed my Nani so much. Then fast forward 5 years after I got married I moved to Pakistan temporarily for my wedding. Now I am back in Canada and going back to Pakistan soon after 4ish years and the tears are there because I want to go back to the Pakistan that started getting better after Imran Khan came. I finally saw people vlogging in Peshawar, Lahore, Karachi. Before I used to hunt in TH-cam for anything related to Pakistan traveling but never found it due to the internal turmoil happening. I refuse to live under this imported government. I refuse to relive those moments where I would wake up in the morning and the doors of my room would vibrate because of another explosion happening. Or when I was shopping for my barat and the barbaric APS school attack happened. I don’y want my children to grow up with the violence that me, my family and friends suffered. I do not agree with some of Imran Khan’s policies but still I would live under his rule 1,000 times over rather than those corrupt politicians that are slave to the Americans. My tears are just flowing down seamlessly.

I was filling online visa form of US and literally there are 4 or 5 pages asking about security questions from your social media accounts till your past political or religious parties attachment. But when our corrupt leaders and heads apply, who facing corruption casses in court, they easily go there without any problem, so there are double triple standard everywhere, but we , the youth of Pakistan will change these standards, insha'Allah.

My advice to our youth and Gen Z would be, before everything else, to make a sincere effort to educate themselves about the politics and history of this country. Hearsay, or "let's try someone new" are not good bases for choosing a leader. We as a society need to understand why the constitution and rule of law are important. The Quaid was a constitutionalist, but you couldnt tell from looking at our nation today. We dont respect the systems we have, and we value personalities over systems. We need to understand first, and then take our positions- and if possible, leave our personal biases aside when choosing leadership.
Leave all this, Youth should just concentrate on Science & technology.

I appreciate your point of view & had the same perspective. However, things are at a tipping point where you can't just say "jo bhi kare, Pakistan ke liye kare". You, me & the whole of Pakistan needs to make a decision as far as which side we are on.
You do not need to worry about losing membership or views, but not making a direct case & not educating your viewers about your point of view is a huge disservice not only to your viewers but to the whole of Pakistan. Agreed whole heartedly! I was also stunned when Junaid bhai said this. It is clear from the citizens that they refuse to bow down anymore. The whole freaking country is with IK and deep down in their souls everyone knows things will take a turn for the worst if IK doesn’t become the Prime Minister again.

Issues of constitutional importance are always given more importance. Almost universally. And rightly so. There would’ve been a total anarchy had SC not intervened quickly. Did we have a govt., do we not have a govt.? That’s a recipe for civil strife. We were on an institutional collision course. So SC had to act urgently.

I started casting vote from 2013 and voted for PTI because they were talking about issues that actually mattered to a common man. Being a supporter of PTI, I have been highly disappointed by the governance of Imran Khan. All I was expecting were reforms. Civil services need drastic changes e.g. digitization, improved HR policies, transparency, better compensation packages etc. There are many industries, such as Auto Industry, which are not regulated by any specific autonomous body. The least he could have done was to introduce reforms rather than making huge promises and not delivering at all. Now I'm back to square one.
What do you expect. Typing these things are easier. But these reforms takes years. P.s just to pass a single law tons of mentation is required. And there were many others things that IK was doing likr foreign Policies, Tax Reforms. You expect corrupted Country to be fixed in less than a Decade?

@@unzikarim2648 Formulating policies and reforms do not take decades. One year is more than enough to bring in the reforms. Visible results might take around a decade since change in culture takes more time to manifest itself. IK had Ishrat Hussain, who is a well known reformist and has written a complete book on what reforms need to be brought in government institutions and how they should be implemented. I always appreciated his vision but I never witnessed any effort into fulfilling it. P.S. Amendment in PECA didn't even take a month.
