read up on the corruption that was happening in Imran khans time. his close friends were making millions. he gave out three amnesties in four years and guess who profited from those schemes. imran is not the angel you think he is. his recent political stunt of subsidizing the petrol price is costing us millions of dollars. the government is forced to subsidize rps 40 on every liter of petrol. also the corruption index worsened in imrans time. more than pmnl and ppp's time. so yeah. GoOd IMrAn.

When Imran Khan tried to reform taxation, our traders went nuts. Tax dena nahi but cheezen sub sasti chahiyen.
My heart goes out to all the Sri Lankians, but they served an important lesson for us that we should start taking heed ourselves. The dynastic political parties had crippled Pakistan in the past, and are still trying to do the same this time. It is high time that we become smart and start taking prudent decisions when it comes to politics.

One of the biggest reasons is abrupt shifting to organic agriculture without considering economic incline. Second, harsh and bad economic policies is the deteriorated reason behind. After listening about Sri Lanka, I felt isn't Pakistan following footprint of Sri Lanka?
They didn't have the money to buy fertilizers. That's how low their forex reserves were.
They implemented it cause they lacked fertilizer thinking it's a great churan for public

The abrupt decision came after they felt it would be defficult for them to pay for imported uria....to save this they went organic on the advice of an Indian...who is commiee..

Good explanation. Couple of added points. The tax cut in the end of 2019 was on VAT and income tax, this hit government coffers heavily. Subsidising bus fares is nothing in comparison. Also Sri Lanka continued to leave imports unchecked despite COVID pressures collapsing the foreign reserves. The Rajapaksas were gambling on things getting better quickly which did not happen.
I know you're a patwari but try to understand that even a little bit of relief is not in the favour of our country
(how's this for an explaination) According to intelligence agencies, China wants to cocoon india and started development in SL (something in line of CPEC here). America and West (along with india) caused this failure. This was on since past past 6-7 years. It didn't happen in 2 years of Corona.
Pakistan is also victim of the same strategy and will be made to collapse and not survive the current Great Game 3. The reason of Imran's collapse. And the military's roll in surviving Pakistan this severe situation, which only a few understand.
While explaining about the bus subsidy,You are conviniently forgetting about the dynastic politics he talked about, If their rulers were gambling ours are doing corruption and money laundering since the last 30+years, there is no diference..
