Can I just say that was one of the best tutorials I have ever followed, clear, concise, relaxed and most importantly…enjoyable! You have a knack for teaching. Many thanks, for newbies it is ideal!

    You are a great instructor!
I really appreciate your detailed instructions! Your speed is perfect and your voice is very calming, and you explain what part is being working on and why we are making the stitches as well as what the result will be. I love mine! A big thank you, with much gratitude! 😊

The tutorial is great. But I ended up with 11 legs😂. I must have missed counted.

For the tentacles, should I go in the front of the chain or in the back bump?

In the video I’m going through the back bump. You could work in the front chain if you prefer though ❤.

Love the design! More realistic than most other videos I've seen.
Just a bit confused at how you did the tentacles.. Did you somehow crochet in the middle of the chain and from the back during the second sc? I did how you said instead cause I couldn't wrap my head around how you did that. And it worked out, I'm not sure what might've been the difference but I'm glad they seem quite similar to yours.

Hi could you also give instructions on how to crochet the octopus the same size you got with a 5mm hook when you use a 3mm hook - I just followed the instructions for the 5mm hook but the oktopus turned out too small :( and I have no clue how to calculate stitches for a different size needle.
I would appreciate it so so much.

Just wanted to know if you are going thru back bumps of chs because from the video it looks like you are. I want to make sure I'm doing this right.
    Thank you for tutorials

Yes, in the video I’m working through the back bump :).

When I chain 14 i seem to end on an inc instead of a sc. I think it's because you start in the 2nd chain from the hook which would be 13 sc total not counting the 1st one. In order for the (inc, sc) to work the chain needs to be a multiple of 2 + 1, not 2.

Hey, yes you will be working into 13 chains back…(inc, sc) but only 6 times and then place 1 sc in the last chain. This will give you a total of 19 single crochet stitches on each leg/tentacle.
