First time ever crocheting and this is the only tutorial I could find that didn't make me want to throw my computer. Thank you so much for going through each step and not speeding it up to much.

Thanks sooooooo much for this tutorial. I am 10 years old. I have been crocheting for about a month now, and this was my second amigurumi. I am going to start following you from now on. You went slow and explained each step and did not fast forward at all.😘😘😘😘😘😍😍😍😍😍😍🥳🥳🥳🥳. I just finished and it looks amazing, except for the legs, they were not exactly matched, but I don’t care. I made this for my 5 year old brother. Once again, thank you sooooooo much for this tutorial.

Commenting to say this is a great tutorial! I’ve made 2 Dino’s so far and they’ve both come out great. Sorry you’re getting some hate on this. It’s not hard to understand the work and skill it takes to rework a pattern to be small and still stay proportional. Thank you.

I agree! It's very good. I'm working on my second one. I gifted my first one, and it made the family I gave it to very happy. The other one I'm making is also for them so both kids can have one for themselves, but I'm inverting the MC and the CC.

This Dino is sooo cute! I made him in green Bernat Baby Blanket yarn with lavender stripes and used a 6.0 mm crochet hook. He came out about 9” tall. I also added a crocheted face (eyes, nostrils, and mouth). Now I must make another one!

I tried this for my frnd and must say it tutned out amazing...most of amigurumi tutorials are not made with normal yarn but chenille yarn which makes it hard to understand how small my project with normal yarn would be, thanks to this great tutorial i was able to make it 👍. Also i made a few changes , i didnt add stripes and made a tail 10rows instead of 7 i also embroidered the eyes on cuz i didnt have safety eyes rn. I am not a beginner to crochet but love to try out new things, i have made 2 dinos till now and they are amazing!

Thank you so much! I have been crocheting for a while now, but am just barely getting into amigurumi. I can’t believe I just made this Mini Dino in real time with you (minus a few pauses here and there) and that it actually looks decent! That’s a true testament to your video and your ability to teach. I am new to crocheting and was nervous about some of the reviews I read here, but this was a great tutorial. There was once where things weren’t looking as they should and when I figured it out, it was (as expected) my error. Counting is the vital part of this little guy. For best results I would suggest count as you do it and count before you begin the next row to ensure you’re starting off on the right foot.
Thank you for making very clear instructions, I had never changed colours in amigurumi before and the way you displayed it with different font colours and how you tied off made it a breeze! I would totally use your patterns again because of details like this that make it easier to succeed.

Thank you for this pattern! I’ve tried making it twice now, once with the Bernat blanket yarn and once with the Loops & Thread Chenille (size 7 with 10 mm hook as stated in your other video about making these Dinos different sizes) I noticed that by the time I get to the third stripe that it starts to get lopsided :( I’ve made sure to be consistent with my tension and follow the pattern exactly. Is there anything in doing wrong or any tips to prevent this from happening? Thanks!

I don’t use a stitch marker either. I just count my stitches as I crochet and when I get to the number I should have I know I’m done with that row.
Like if it’s 3sc, inc (30) I count 1sc, 2, 3, 4-5 is inc. and so on until 30. The i count all my sts to be sure it’s 30.
    I love Timothy!! I need a huge one now😊

For all of yall saying that its disrespectful for her to be using someone else's design shes really not even using the same design, amigarumis come in all the same stitches the majority of the time she took the time to create a smaller version that is actually completely different in its build sure the end product looks similar but its still hers she made it. Some people can even come up with something similar by just looking at a plushie it doesnt mean that its the same just that it looks like it is so stop giving her such a hard time because she tried to help us out and give us something to do and all you guys do is complain
