How to Restore a Rusty License Plate

In this video I will be attempting to restore an old rusty license plate that I found while I was out metal detecting. You can see the start of other things I plan on restoring too, but we'll just have to see how that goes. The plates came out nice! I found me a pair of 1948 Texas plates at an antique shop, I’ll be restoring them soon.

Carbon steel knife looks like a Green River Skinner.

That one is from a real old mining camp. Yeah I think I'll use them as patterns and bring them back modern. Wish I had some stainless.
