    Agree, the SRAD is the easiest of my bikes to work on.. the worst is my ZX12R, that’s a pain to service.. half the bike needs to be removed just to remove the battery

      Oh man we have a ZX7R and we love it but it is a real pain to service too everything has to be stripped off I will be doing it when I get time ⌚ but we do love our Kawis

      @@PXCBIKES Really, the ZX7R a pain too? Must be a Kawasaki thing 😄 I recently added a 1990 ZXR750 H2 to my garage.. it was delivered fully serviced but I've already stripped the plastics off to check it over and clean.. I'll be doing the servicing myself next year. But yeah..definitely love our Kawis.. of all my bikes, its the ZXR I'd save first in a (God forbid) fire!😎💚

    another problem you can have with the coilsticks ,is they can have tiny cracks in them .and when the engine gets hot , the plastic expands ,causing the coilstick to ark to the cylinderhead . so if you getting normal readings off a coilstick on the multimeter,but getting a intermittent misfire on that cylinder . thats why ,this tends to happen alot on srads ,because of there age . sometimes some heatshrink can cure it . but it does make it a tight fit getting them back in . :)

    • @PXCBIKES
      @PXCBIKES  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yep I have had this on the ZX7R and my old GPZ.. I turned off the lights in the garage and could see it arcing to the head 👍

    Have you relocated the reg/rec to the front inner fairing?

    • @PXCBIKES

      Hi mick, I no longer own this bike. I sold it a few years ago ... but no, I did not relocate the regulator.. I have relocated them on ducatis before to the nose fairing

    I'm getting an 600 srad next week, I know the name harpic, but what actually is it, ie spray or something

    • @PXCBIKES
      @PXCBIKES  ปีที่แล้ว

      It's actually toilet cleaner!... But some metals it will strip the coating if it is left too long... Its good for brass and rusty exhausts... Anything else then you have to wash it all off and apply oil immediately... But its good stuff

      Harpic power plus toilet cleaner... Becarfull using it on steel as it will clean the rust but you have to coat the metal after but its fine with copper

    Do you no if an R reg srad 600 is suppose to have them plastic inlet funnels that mount on the carbs?I see some bikes have them but some don’t

    • @PXCBIKES
      @PXCBIKES  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Are they aluminum or red plastic?
      Red plastic are stock 98 bike and aluminium ones are aftermarket but shorter... They make a smoother airflow into the carbs... But don't k ow it they actually make a difference
