Yes. I remember the sponges that were supposed to be brake pads. So glad I had them changed before taking the bike out. Top job you did on mine 👍👍👍

You are lucky at least your srad look good. I am working on mine currently. I just dont have the budget like you. Also i just had to pit a 2000 600 motor in it until i can save the money to put one of my 750 engine's back together.
Believe me my budget is tight I got my bikes from trading up but they have to be in perfect working order for me to sell them and some of them can be real money bins 💰😬
Great video. I have my calipers split at the moment for my SRAD resto. Everything seized.... The rear pads are possibly worse than yours because it looks like nobody could get the seized pins out and just lived with no back brakes?!
Wow, yeh, there are some real punished bikes out there... I had to drill a hole in the back of a calliper once to hammer a piston out, then TIG weld the hole back
