I just accepted a job at a recruiting company. I am brand new to the industry and I’m going to be watching all of your videos! Glad I found your channel!
Thank you for sharing so much information on your channel. You are the reason I felt comfortable completely shifting career choices to a recruiting company! 🎉
@@RecruiterPreston I quit my first recruiter position because of a toxic work environment (in house) last month without a job lined up and have been dealing with the unknown. Watching your videos has given back the confidence and strength to go for what I want to do and I have a few offers potentially coming up for recruiting agencies. So truly thank you for sharing what you do and inspiring others to do what they love.
Thanks for the great detailed information on being a recruiter. Having a strong background (education & experience) in HR, Career Development and Force Management/Man power, I constantly receive dozens of job offers for recruiting. Too bad there’s no opportunity for job shadowing or internship to see the stress factors involved in being a recruiter, as well as the workload expectations, work environmental factors, and other nuisances associated w recruitment career fields.
Honestly, never had a good experience with a recruiter. A lot of them did not even know the industry they were hiring in, takes months for them to reply or worst they just ghost you. I have written lots of resumes and cover letters specific to the job but unless I speak with someone in the organization, my resume will not get noticed.
So this mean that recruiters who are working on comission can earn pretty good amount of money. Do you know what is the situation in Europe, is there a high demand for recruiters and is it done the same way as in US?
Like with any career, with hard work, you can attain a level of success - sure, it's possible! Not 100% sure about the european landscape but I would be surprised if it was that different!
Greetings content developer! Again, thank you for an outstanding presentation on being a recruiter, which sounds to me (former career counselor, academic advisor, HR Mgr and Force Management specialist) you are indeed at the top of your game and thus enjoy what you do! I’m sincerely happy for you as not everyone is successful in finding joy in their career field of choice. Will you kindly consider doing another video on the pros and cons of being a recruiter please? Best wishes!

This is my first time learning about US’s recruiters fee being significantly lower than my country’s. In my country it’s anywhere between 30-40%.

Once you have a successful placement, when are you going to get paid for the commission?
Based on your payable and guarantee!
So recruiter get candidates a permanent job? Or temporary?
Both!
Recruiters make me sick. They are the worst animals.
Hello, I hear you. Why do you think all recruiters are the worst animals? Do you believe that there are good recruiters?
