A glassboard might look good on the wall, but will notes on the board look good too? Probably not! Glass is a highly reflective transparent material which means your notes don't have a solid low-glare background. This results in a "drop-shadow" effect which causes your notes to appear blurry from even a short distance away. On top of that, glass has terrible glare and low surface contrast which can obscure your notes.
Unlike glass, Panls CeramicSteel whiteboards give you sharp contrast with almost no glare. You can confidently use any marker color, in any lighting, and your notes will be clearly visible even from the back of the room. Use chalk markers on the glass board to solve the problem of contrast of color. Dry erase markers are made with lower dye content to avoid ghosts when erasing white boards. The glass board is not defective or lower in quality: It is the dry erase marker that is the problem. . tThe glass board is easily erasable and can be quickly restored to a clean state, regardless of the brilliance of the colors used. The same cannot be said of white boards, where The darker the color the greater the smudging and ghosting. Not everything is lost. Use a small water spray bottle with a few drops of dishwashing liquid on both the white and glass boards while using a microfiber towel as the eraser. Erasing chalk is even better since the dry chalk crystals will polish the surface before going into solution and picked up by the microfiber.

Can’t you buy glass boards in darker colors? I’m a college student and I usually see the ceramic steel whiteboard even though people say that the glass board is superior and “ever lasting” compared to a traditional whiteboard?

The glass one looks whiter and newer and the other one looks old, is that just how it is or is it acctually old?

Glass will never stain thought whereas ceramic is prone to.
Our CeramicSteel will never stain and if it does, you can clean the surface with almost any high strength cleaner like bleach, mineral spirits, and acetone - and you can safely use scrubbing pads without scratching the surface. It will go back to factory fresh every time. Glass boards can be damaged by strong cleaners and abrasive materials.
We can barely see writings on glassboard.. our school dismantled them.
Ceremic Steel whiteboard are very expensive.. itz far better to buy a sheet of pure white lacquered glass and use as a white board.
