Love your vids. Old style or new. Today’s generation have a very short attention span. I’m old enough to remember having free milk in Primary School., until Thatcher stopped it. Love the chatting in your vids too. You’re a wise Man.Will be attempting this very soon. Teach me more… Oooh Master… Keep posting Nick 👍
Nice vídeo , and It is good to make the things your self and rebuilds a sistem who is a litle old , you can put a litle more atention to details , work with a towel , without dust and Chips and Very carrefull with cooper brush in seals , in holles , It more soft than steel but never knows , and the threads in vice , in general greats vídeo , a litle of Fun watch the vídeo and Nice knowledge for me because até a couple of days bought a hft 500 for Br 25 , thank's and hoppe the modificativo work's perfectly 🇵🇹
Hello, thank you and I take your points on board. Sadly the rifle carried on leaking, every seal was perished. I replaced them all but still a slow leak from somewhere. I don't have much time anymore to work on airguns or indeed use them so this rifle was sold along with some of the other characters from the channel. Great choice with the HFT 500, that is a rifle I'd rather like to own one day
nice mate . great job done and very common indeed . i have to agree it’s often the £10 part that’s a right royal pain in the butt to replace . air arms tend to lock tight stuff in place and i have no idea why not that that bit normally is like you say probably never been a apart . once that cylinder is pressurised up there is no way your going to shift any of that gubbings . still job well done mate 👍
Thanks Paul, much appreciated. £10 in parts, £50 in labour.... I'd imagine that is why the gun ended up on a stall at a militaria fair along with pile of broken SMKs. Still not wishing to tempt fate but it seems to be fixed now. I'm not looking forward to the chronograph session.
Hi Nick, not really a comment more of a heads up. I was just on the flea bay app and there's a chap over Hereford got 3 tins of them Gamo Pistol Cup precision pellets you was looking for. Thanks for the channel bud, not one duff video. All the best Andy
hola antonio Espero que te encuentres bien. Espero poder producir algunos videos más en los que también esté usando las pistolas de aire, no hay tiempo para disparar en este momento. mis mejores deseos Nick
Why not use the ring part of the spanner (if you can) as this uses all of the hexagon not just two flats which could lead to the spanner slipping off! Always replace that larger internal seal if it’s been in there a while!
Hello, thank you for your comment much appreciated. I wouldn't have gotten any more torque on it from using the ring end, plus as the video shows it isn't the torque that was the issue, the entire valve assembly wanted to come out with the fill connection. For tightening the fill connection back up I used the flats instead of the ring to reduce the risk of leaving marks on it. I will be going through the S400 at some point and doing a full seal kit, hopefully then it will be back in service.
Thank you for your comment much appreciated. The O-ring was in good condition so I left it. Don't forget the scope of TH-cam videos, if the video is replacing the filler valve then that is what you get.
Nice one Nick, glad you got it sorted. My HW100 has just developed a slow leak but it hasn’t had a service so I am in two minds whether to do it myself or have someone else do it? Am guessing it’s quite expensive for a service and 🦭change so might do some research and have a go
Hello Kev Thank you for your comment much appreciated. Definitely do some research on the 🦭 change and service, I'm finding some rifles are easy to work on and some are truly awful.

Cheers Nick I was looking for Something to watch on my Night shift
Hope it was worth the wait 😉.
Top tip put a small amount of silicone grease on the black seal, helps keep the rubber in good condition, and helps it seal better, 😁👍
Thank you for the tip, very much appreciated 👍🏻

Great video, never had issue with the length of the review. Thanks for the partial disassembly that alone has helped me .😊
