Thanks for all the knowledge you share . Morels are a big part of my life.we love foraging for the local naturals every spring. Then heading out into the burn areas and really getting into them. It’s amazing seeing all those morels .so exciting! It’s a major part of our healthy diet and lifestyle. I’m already studying the maps and planning our adventure. I first tried morels when I lived in Yellowknife from the Tibet lake burn years ago and I think we’re headed back up north this season .
Ger here ...Echo was a wonderful Labrador Retriever of ours...what a great story..it kept me riveted because I never knew all this ..I knew Randy was key in the early Morel business in Canada and how hard he worked when it was happening and had seen the pictures and things before but to hear him tell the story was just great .You guys did a great job here as you both come across as honest , sincere , and the connections you made with the natives Randy ,it all sounds amazing ..being involved with wild foraging ,it sure is easy to relate to. Fantastic ..I have to make a trek north while I still can do it. Would love to hear more stories ..thanks again.
What a great story.I’ve really enjoyed following your adventures out in nature picking mushrooms. I’ve learned so much about burn morels.this season we gave burn morel picking a go ,just for our own consumption and we were very successful.thanks for sharing the knowledge .looking forward to more content 👍❤🇨🇦
Thanks for sharing! I like to know what the value came to per season! This could be inspiring to our youth! I can’t think of a better job to have! Please put more stories like this out there!
100000lbs of shrooms wow. I've been hunting for a long time but of course we don't travel far and hunt public land where lots of ppl go especially now days but..we put in the extra effort to go another mile beyond the prints and search places people rather not explore. Most of the time ending in satisfying results for us. Our season here in NWMO is almost over & it's been to say the least a phenomenal one. Completely incomparable to you all and the lifetime you've made for yourselves yet, we're proud of ourselves considering our region and only hunting for natural morels as you call them. We found approximately 100+ lbs this year and weather cooperating this weekend, we're going for one last push to see if we get lucky on a final flush! You guys have the most exciting foraging content I've ever watched.
The first time I saw one of your videos I thought it was just another video about mushrooms picking. But it's much more than that!!!🙂 It's about adventure, life style... I didn't know you were so involved in the story of professional harvesting. I really enjoyed watching this video and I found this story fascinating!!!😉😉 In France professional harvesting is not impossible but it's prettty hard (it's forbidden to sell mushroom from public forests and you can pick only 5kg per day). I watched almost all of your videos this week (way better than watching tv😁). I think your chanel is very underrated (only 16400 followers, this is not enough for this quality). I will share it on my forum (forum about mushrooms of course😁😁) this week. Hello from France.🙂😉 Mathieu
Wow!!! Incredible story. You both do an excellent running movie. Easy to visualize the mayhem of the earliest days. Would love to hear more. Thanks. Gin
Loved it! Amazing stories and tell any and all of them you want. You guys are probably the first TH-cam channel I’ve watched every video on and anticipate new releases every Friday! Canada, eh!?
Great stuff...
