This is great but also terrifying. Sunny practically became Darkstalker, believing everything she did was for the better of everyone, but this time, nobody could actually stop her.
This is so horrifying, actually, all the tribes kept in a coma to never wake up from, Clay, Tsunami, Glory and starflight all stuck and unable to be themselves or feel anything other than happiness, and Sunny being the one to cause it all. Its so terrifying, but i like it. Now THIS is what an 'evil au' should be like.
Gosh, imagine this horrifying paradise being suddenly disrupted, the fleeing dragons of Pantala flying overseas only to find a comatose continent. Or even just Luna, swept away in her silk parachute, coming to land on a home not unlike her own. Where dragons are being controlled to be happy instead of sad, like Luna always tried to be. Or the scavengers of Phyrria, suddenly becoming the dominant species on the continent after all the dragons mysteriously disappeared. Darkstalker lying under Agate mountain where his dreams of an impossible future suddenly became a joyful present. Kinkajou, Orchid, and every Rainwing trapped in the Nightwing kingdom suddenly free from the endless torment, even as they’re once again stripped of their home and agency. Queen Glacier having happier dreams about Nightwings rather than the scary ones that her crown was enchanted to give her. Blister dropping on the spot after collecting the two Dragonbite vipers to give to her sister, the snakes feasting on her in her sleep. Foeslayer being left confused as the Icewings suddenly collapsed during the diamond trial, feeling herself follow suit even though they had yet to stab her. Thousands of dragons falling mid-flight, plummeting to the ground; their last dreams happy before they reached the bottom. Auklet doomed to never hatch, as there was nobody left to protect her. Fatespeaker believing her dream is of the future she so desperately wanted, feeling that it’s _finally_ coming true; being foretold to her after so many nights of waiting. Stonemover being free from his self-inflicted imprisonment, finding that despite everything he believed, he’s okay with being free, and flying to see Thorn again. Moonwatcher falling asleep in the forest waiting for her mother, dreaming that she was finally here to stay. Pyrite having a warped mishmash of a dream of two realities. One filled with ice and snow, but still feeling warm on the inside. Chameleon’s scales suddenly changing colour as he dreamed, being forced to sleep and fully activate his scales. Wren left begging for Sky to wake up after getting some supplies from Undauntable, coming back to find him asleep with a snail perched happily on his nose. Her amusement turning to fear when he didn’t wake up the following morning. The dragons of Phyrria slowly succumbing to hunger and thirst. Their bodies becoming stiff and immobile as they’re left to the elements. Flower being left terrified and alone in the Sandwing Kingdom after Smolder suddenly wouldn’t wake up anymore; left to wonder about the strange structure that seemed to appear in the Sandwing kingdom overnight, and the tawny-gold dragonet who watched the last survivors with empty eyes from the throne. It’s such a horrifying dystopia with room for so much. The consequences left when the world is unknowingly subjected to living under an abused child’s perception of happiness. Incredible job on this one
God I just realized that sunny and darkstalker kinda mirror each other. Both hope for the “best” for the world at large, but what differentiates them, is the infinite power of animus power.
What a perfect demonstration of just how scary an animus who doesn't know about having powers can be - just casually rewriting Clay's emotions and intentions like that without even meaning to do it, genuinely just trying to help! After reading the graphic novel of Moon Rising, what if Moon never revealed her secret(s)? Never told anyone she could read their minds or see the future. I think things would have been very very different in a very interesting way.

and then the scavengers slowly built their own world. it's now 2023. and legend never speaks of the mysterious cave/foundation that seems to echo with laughter. but slowly, the scavengers grew curious and decided to dig through into sunny's paradise. that was the first time sunny moved from her spot in years. *roll credits*
This is the best one yet!!! Especially with the monotone voice acting if magicked tsunami and starflight!!! This shows a great understanding of Sunny’s character, animus insanity, and the concept of true freedom and happiness!! I sound like an English teacher but yeah this is my fav whatif
God damn I did not expect that, Sunny being an animus herself would have made sense (or even a dragonet of hers in future being one). But what a sad ending and for such a large spell it would make sunny snap at least not go insane but rather become delusional in this fantasy she created and it just pains to even imagine as her friends age and everywhere else across Pyrrhia (unsure if it’ll extend to Pantala) she’d be effectively killing off an entire population regardless of tribe. Unless the effects of this spell would keep them young and alive, comparison being the Miasma from The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, where in the quest “Waking Nightmare” the Miasma (a gas) put those who it affected asleep, perfectly preserved and still alive even if put in a stasis. But who knows. It would be interesting for one of the DoD members to accidentally exit paradise and just suddenly realise the reality of what happened or even Pantalan dragons arriving and finding out it’s a land of sleeping individuals. Which maybe can be woken up. Who knows, it would have set up an interesting arc and story. For Sunny despite being one of the most benevolent being a effectively a villain out of something so selfish. Maybe it’s just the tism making this bigger but in general this is such an interesting plot, what if and general story scenario. 10/10 Cypress.
@@shadowstar37 adding the Breath of Evil may be a bit messy, and if anything the escaped Pantala dragons would be refugees that landed on Pyrrhia that were trying to escape a society that was genuinely evil. Of course the NightWings lived on a remote island, it was a several hour if not a days or so flight from mainland. So maybe when they finally invade the forest everyones asleep. And maybe one nightwing seeks to fix it. I’m just spitballing potential ideas since this is a plot I genuinely enjoy and would love to make into an RP.

This is why the idea of animus magic was so, SO good. It still is. This was amazing, Cyprus! Her descent is so understandable, terrifying, and dreadful.
Man little does Sunny know she just made every Dragon on Pyhrria go extinct since the dragons are asleep that means they wouldn’t be able to eat so they’ll just slowly starve or get killed by “Scavengers”. However it does fulfill the whole “Everyone Happy” thing. It’d be cool to see this from another POV a lone dragon who didn’t get enchanted or how the Scavengers just slowly re-took over the Continent.

a neat what-if I was thinking about was what if Kestrel tried to escape with both her dragonets and only ended up dropping peril, so Sky (who would honestly probably have a different name) would've grown up with his mom in the talons of piece and maybe also the dragonets of destiny
This is so wholesome at the beginning, but then it turns sad/scary/oh my lord sunny is evil now. I feel like this could go one of two ways, the way its shown (the bad ending) and like, sunny making the world ACTUALLY better, like she fixed the world by making dragons realize how bad they were, and not just making them sleep.
She isn't evil, she was just abused and her perception of happiness was warped so she tried to make the world a better place, but ended up killing everyone instead

Another incredible story! Although, the last thing I expected to happen was Pyrrhia going full on Matrix?! Whoa I'd say this is a great example of what happens when the brightest soul is plunged into the darkest depths of power, a dystopian world is created Can't wait for more! P.S. Is it just me, or did I start hearing more and more of Sunny's ancestor as the story progressed?

I've got one: What if Morrowseer wrote the prophecy so that the eggs would've hatched under the moonlight? What would be different? Would Sunny be NightWing enough to also have powers? Would Morrowseer's plan work? I think that this would be a pretty cool AU
This was amazing! Sunny is my favourite character so far (I've only read the first arc, getting the second in a few days). This AU is so well-written and plausible for Sunny's character, but exagerrated and twisted by the loss of her soul.
Here are a few “what if” ideas: What if Sunny had Black scales instead of gold [The guardians would be able to tell that she was a hybrid] and/or have a tail barb? [She might use it?] What if Sunny was born under the three moons? [Since Sunny is a hybrid, she might be able to read minds and see the future] What if Glory was an icewing instead of a rainwing? [Instead of a rainwing egg, Webs [somehow] got an icewing egg] What if Jerboa [The second? Third? I don’t remember] didn’t get rid of animus magic? [Idea for this one: They might be able to save Freedom]
I’ve only watched this What If series off and on, but this is definitely my favorite story. It’s so screwed up and I love it, and much less edgy than some of the many, many ways the Dragonets of Destiny could fall apart. It makes perfect sense for Sunny’s personality that her desire for everyone to just *stop fighting* would corrupt her to the point of putting the entire world into the Matrix. I wonder what the scavengers would think, seeing buzzing places like the SkyWing kingdom just fall into total silence and dragons mostly disappear from the sky. Would they rise in power again? Discover the slumbering dragons and kill them all? Just make sure Sunny doesn’t discover them and put a spell on them, too 🥴

very good video! personally i would have done it a little differently, but i like the idea of sunny basically playing god :D also some suggestions for more episodes What ifs (Spoilers for arc 1 and 2 (and some of the legends) -What if sunny was pure-blooded -what if one of the DoD was an animus -what would have happened if the Nightwing tribe never left the old Nightwing kingdom(or the one Clearsight/Darkstalker grew up in) -What if Tsunami and Anemone switched places? -What if kestrel "killed" peril instead of sky, and then escaped with him? -what if clay drowned while escaping -What if kestrel killed glory -What if glory and peril where swapped? (so scarlet found glory on her own as an egg in the sky kingdom, and kestrel brought her own egg, but it was still sky and peril?) -what if Qibli accepted Darkstalker's offer? -What if ClearSight and Darkstalker had Dragonets? -What if Darkstalker became king(weather through murder or good reasons can be up to you :] ) -What if Darkstalker used to take dragonets and fly off with them to a new Nightwing kingdom so that if his plan to attack the queen failed he could still lead? (meaning many dragonets went missing due to this, and potentially there was another Nightwing kingdom that had powers? and worshiped Darkstalker maybe? (this one was inspired by a M.A.P I saw a long time ago although I don't remember the name or who it was posted by) (And yes I know I’ve re-commented this probably more that I should-) (also now this has got me thinking of an au where sunny is an animus and just like- as her soul becomes more and more corrupt she slowly becomes queen of all tribes, maybe Darkstalker could wake up and see this and become her ally? only for her to kill him in the end using his own love against him? who knows ;) edit: What if sunny gave in to the urges of the Eye of Onyx and made herself queen?
That actually shook me up like sunny just obliterating every tribe by making them sleep and then making her friends just play all day and be happy all the time and her just sitting there, watching them closely thinking she did the right thing just is so unsettling

Wow this was so well put together and in my mind Sunny practically, BECAME A DICTATOR. Yep thats how i saw her become. As she practically dictated the lives of her friends by using her magic to make them happy all the time and then she puts everyone to sleep and so technically she - I'll be onest I surprisingly love this word, Dictated there lives in there dreams. So yeah this was definitely a very scary version of Sunny.
I love how people claim that "Animus dragons cannot enchant dragons!" let me prove you wrong. How did arctic die? Darkstalker and winter, anemone, peril, dod, and the most of jade mountain and the nightwings! plus the ice wing plague, of course animus dragons can enchant other dragons! I agree with cyprus on this.
if i had a penny for every time [a fan-series what-if made a reality where an inoccent character gets horribly warped and creates a dead-inside paradise devoid of sadness but also of free will], i'd have two pennies which isn't a lot, but its weird that it happend twice
I don't know if you take suggestions on "what if" videos but if you do I had a cool idea for one. What if Glory left, in the first book(not graphic novel) after they leave the Sky Palace and go to the river Glory goes invisible and acts like she leaves to see if Clay really cared. But what id she actually did leave and Tsunami couldn't tell her friends that she knew that Glory was going to leave.
Oh god this is a literal case of “the road to hell is paved with good intentions”. This reminds me of the horrific intentions of the final boss of Final Fantasy XIII-3, where the creator of the world sought to create happiness for everyone by eliminating all sources unhappiness and have everyone in what was essentially a dream world. Outstanding writing here in this episode!

I have an idea, what if the prophecy asked for a rainwing from the beginning instead of a skywing? How would that have changed things for Glory? Things like how she was treated by her guardians, Ect.
In the end, its scary, shes like, turned from a little rragonet that just wan5s to be noticed, to a sandwing monster that ends the world and the war by enchanting everysingle dragon in a never-ending sleep, they forget about their problems, she wanted them to he happy...*a little too much*... and... she... enchanted everything to do it... she practically KILLED herself mentally, cause, if you fall asleep forever, you dont have any food ir water to eat... and youll eventually die... *i think* I nearly cried at the end btw, she technically turned into a monster that just wanted to make everyone happy, and never mad or fighting... she then became a little... crazy, like DreamStalker, but... SandWing edition! (Edit) also, she killed herself by putting such a big spell on everything... and, if you read the story about the seawing that used his animus powers too much, he lost his soul and died? Well... that same 5hing happened to Sunny, except... almost like DarkStalker, its just when someone puts someone asleep forever... it makes me feel... lets just say.. unerving... i dont like it...
I want to imagine: one of the other animus dragons, in their wonderful cocoon of happiness, said something perfect in their dream. A word to break the spell on them, and they wake up. They find the world has crumbled. Dragons are... Nonexistent. Everyone has become a hill, a tree, No longer the Seven Kingdoms and tribes there once were. The palaces are falling apart, livestock, crops, have either bred into or been taken over by the wild. Pyhrria is... Gone. (I'm out of ideas, please continue this! I so want to see this AU made, and brought to life, maybe from my starter!)

What if Peril had never overcome the spell in the necklace What if Ruby lost the challenge for the throne(Maybe a follow-up for the previouse one) what if Darkstalker had not eaten the strawberry? If the case is naming them off, than your right the hivewings would go to sleep and I think the leafwings' would take over because the silkwings are still push-overs. Cool thought, tho, I didn't think about that

I’ve thought about this and come up with some actually great ideas, in my own opinion!
and then the scavengers slowly built their own world. it's now 2023. and legend never speaks of the mysterious cave/foundation that seems to echo with laughter. but slowly, the scavengers grew curious and decided to dig through into sunny's paradise.
that was the first time sunny moved from her spot in years. *roll credits*

This is the best one yet!!! Especially with the monotone voice acting if magicked tsunami and starflight!!! This shows a great understanding of Sunny’s character, animus insanity, and the concept of true freedom and happiness!! I sound like an English teacher but yeah this is my fav whatif
God damn I did not expect that, Sunny being an animus herself would have made sense (or even a dragonet of hers in future being one). But what a sad ending and for such a large spell it would make sunny snap at least not go insane but rather become delusional in this fantasy she created and it just pains to even imagine as her friends age and everywhere else across Pyrrhia (unsure if it’ll extend to Pantala) she’d be effectively killing off an entire population regardless of tribe.
Unless the effects of this spell would keep them young and alive, comparison being the Miasma from The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, where in the quest “Waking Nightmare” the Miasma (a gas) put those who it affected asleep, perfectly preserved and still alive even if put in a stasis. But who knows.
It would be interesting for one of the DoD members to accidentally exit paradise and just suddenly realise the reality of what happened or even Pantalan dragons arriving and finding out it’s a land of sleeping individuals. Which maybe can be woken up. Who knows, it would have set up an interesting arc and story. For Sunny despite being one of the most benevolent being a effectively a villain out of something so selfish.
Maybe it’s just the tism making this bigger but in general this is such an interesting plot, what if and general story scenario. 10/10 Cypress.

@@shadowstar37 adding the Breath of Evil may be a bit messy, and if anything the escaped Pantala dragons would be refugees that landed on Pyrrhia that were trying to escape a society that was genuinely evil.
Of course the NightWings lived on a remote island, it was a several hour if not a days or so flight from mainland. So maybe when they finally invade the forest everyones asleep. And maybe one nightwing seeks to fix it. I’m just spitballing potential ideas since this is a plot I genuinely enjoy and would love to make into an RP.
@@wyvolf I'm saying that darkstarker could wake up because he's already under a different Animus spell and adding the breath of evil is mostly due to everyone in arc 2 being alseep along with those in arc 1
This is why the idea of animus magic was so, SO good. It still is. This was amazing, Cyprus! Her descent is so understandable, terrifying, and dreadful.
Man little does Sunny know she just made every Dragon on Pyhrria go extinct since the dragons are asleep that means they wouldn’t be able to eat so they’ll just slowly starve or get killed by “Scavengers”. However it does fulfill the whole “Everyone Happy” thing. It’d be cool to see this from another POV a lone dragon who didn’t get enchanted or how the Scavengers just slowly re-took over the Continent.
Well there brain will kill them since it is not being used so it will shut down killing the dragon
@@tavhunter9439 Wrong with that one. Their brain will kill them because all it can do is dream. The rest of their body will shut down but given the wording of Sunny's spell it is possible the brain might still live on to dream endlessly.

im actually writing a fanfic about if Peril didnt burn Darkstalkers scroll. timeline of the story is a little skewed as theres no real consistency with how the timeline works but im working on it.

a neat what-if I was thinking about was what if Kestrel tried to escape with both her dragonets and only ended up dropping peril, so Sky (who would honestly probably have a different name) would've grown up with his mom in the talons of piece and maybe also the dragonets of destiny
I love the fact that there’s an alternate universe where sunny is the strongest dragon sense, dark stalker
The fact that sweet, innocent little Sunny practically replaced Darkstalker is scary and probably one of the best stories ive ever heard
This is so wholesome at the beginning, but then it turns sad/scary/oh my lord sunny is evil now. I feel like this could go one of two ways, the way its shown (the bad ending) and like, sunny making the world ACTUALLY better, like she fixed the world by making dragons realize how bad they were, and not just making them sleep.
She isn't evil, she was just abused and her perception of happiness was warped so she tried to make the world a better place, but ended up killing everyone instead
The way the tone changes at the end makes this horrifyingly awesome
Cyprus this is scary and amazing, Sunny was acting like Jerboa and Darkstalker combined, she tampered with memories, she thought she was doing the best for everyone... she's evil

I've got one: What if Morrowseer wrote the prophecy so that the eggs would've hatched under the moonlight?
What would be different? Would Sunny be NightWing enough to also have powers? Would Morrowseer's plan work? I think that this would be a pretty cool AU
This was amazing! Sunny is my favourite character so far (I've only read the first arc, getting the second in a few days). This AU is so well-written and plausible for Sunny's character, but exagerrated and twisted by the loss of her soul.

What if Sunny had Black scales instead of gold [The guardians would be able to tell that she was a hybrid] and/or have a tail barb? [She might use it?]
What if Sunny was born under the three moons? [Since Sunny is a hybrid, she might be able to read minds and see the future]
What if Glory was an icewing instead of a rainwing? [Instead of a rainwing egg, Webs [somehow] got an icewing egg]
What if Jerboa [The second? Third? I don’t remember] didn’t get rid of animus magic? [Idea for this one: They might be able to save Freedom]

I’ve only watched this What If series off and on, but this is definitely my favorite story. It’s so screwed up and I love it, and much less edgy than some of the many, many ways the Dragonets of Destiny could fall apart. It makes perfect sense for Sunny’s personality that her desire for everyone to just *stop fighting* would corrupt her to the point of putting the entire world into the Matrix. I wonder what the scavengers would think, seeing buzzing places like the SkyWing kingdom just fall into total silence and dragons mostly disappear from the sky. Would they rise in power again? Discover the slumbering dragons and kill them all? Just make sure Sunny doesn’t discover them and put a spell on them, too 🥴
This what if was amazing my favourite one so far I loved it. It’s always so much fun to come home from church and watch what ever you post love your art keep it up😁😄

-what if one of the DoD was an animus
-what would have happened if the Nightwing tribe never left the old Nightwing kingdom(or the one Clearsight/Darkstalker grew up in)
-What if Tsunami and Anemone switched places?
-What if kestrel "killed" peril instead of sky, and then escaped with him?
-what if clay drowned while escaping
-What if kestrel killed glory
-What if glory and peril where swapped? (so scarlet found glory on her own as an egg in the sky kingdom, and kestrel brought her own egg, but it was still sky and peril?)
-what if Qibli accepted Darkstalker's offer?
-What if ClearSight and Darkstalker had Dragonets?
-What if Darkstalker became king(weather through murder or good reasons can be up to you :] )
-What if Darkstalker used to take dragonets and fly off with them to a new Nightwing kingdom so that if his plan to attack the queen failed he could still lead? (meaning many dragonets went missing due to this, and potentially there was another Nightwing kingdom that had powers? and worshiped Darkstalker maybe? (this one was inspired by a M.A.P I saw a long time ago although I don't remember the name or who it was posted by)

(also now this has got me thinking of an au where sunny is an animus and just like- as her soul becomes more and more corrupt she slowly becomes queen of all tribes, maybe Darkstalker could wake up and see this and become her ally? only for her to kill him in the end using his own love against him? who knows ;)

Wow this was so well put together and in my mind Sunny practically, BECAME A DICTATOR. Yep thats how i saw her become. As she practically dictated the lives of her friends by using her magic to make them happy all the time and then she puts everyone to sleep and so technically she - I'll be onest I surprisingly love this word, Dictated there lives in there dreams. So yeah this was definitely a very scary version of Sunny.
What a spooky story, I got goosebumps for days and will probably have animus Sunny nightmares for months.

if i had a penny for every time [a fan-series what-if made a reality where an inoccent character gets horribly warped and creates a dead-inside paradise devoid of sadness but also of free will], i'd have two pennies which isn't a lot, but its weird that it happend twice
You should do a what if jerboa cast the animus spell before dark stalker was defeated so they have no animus magic
I don't know if you take suggestions on "what if" videos but if you do I had a cool idea for one. What if Glory left, in the first book(not graphic novel) after they leave the Sky Palace and go to the river Glory goes invisible and acts like she leaves to see if Clay really cared. But what id she actually did leave and Tsunami couldn't tell her friends that she knew that Glory was going to leave.

This reminds me of the horrific intentions of the final boss of Final Fantasy XIII-3, where the creator of the world sought to create happiness for everyone by eliminating all sources unhappiness and have everyone in what was essentially a dream world.

I have an idea, what if the prophecy asked for a rainwing from the beginning instead of a skywing? How would that have changed things for Glory? Things like how she was treated by her guardians, Ect.
This is a perfect “ evil au “ sunny becomes manipulative and after every thing she was emotionless and leaving every other tribe to starve to death
In the end, its scary, shes like, turned from a little rragonet that just wan5s to be noticed, to a sandwing monster that ends the world and the war by enchanting everysingle dragon in a never-ending sleep, they forget about their problems, she wanted them to he happy...*a little too much*... and... she... enchanted everything to do it... she practically KILLED herself mentally, cause, if you fall asleep forever, you dont have any food ir water to eat... and youll eventually die... *i think*
I nearly cried at the end btw, she technically turned into a monster that just wanted to make everyone happy, and never mad or fighting... she then became a little... crazy, like DreamStalker, but... SandWing edition!
(Edit) also, she killed herself by putting such a big spell on everything... and, if you read the story about the seawing that used his animus powers too much, he lost his soul and died? Well... that same 5hing happened to Sunny, except... almost like DarkStalker, its just when someone puts someone asleep forever... it makes me feel... lets just say.. unerving... i dont like it...
I want to imagine: one of the other animus dragons, in their wonderful cocoon of happiness, said something perfect in their dream. A word to break the spell on them, and they wake up. They find the world has crumbled. Dragons are... Nonexistent. Everyone has become a hill, a tree, No longer the Seven Kingdoms and tribes there once were. The palaces are falling apart, livestock, crops, have either bred into or been taken over by the wild. Pyhrria is... Gone.
(I'm out of ideas, please continue this! I so want to see this AU made, and brought to life, maybe from my starter!)
