It was a memorable moment for the French Embassy in Fiji, in collaboration with the Alliance Française de Suva, and the Rainbow Pride Foundation on June 13, 2024 to officially launch the Fiji Pride 2024: “My Fiji Pride: Unity in Diversity” in Suva.
The event took place at the Alliance Française de Suva and featured speeches, cutting of a celebratory rainbow cake, screening of the film "Les Crevettes Pailletées," (The Shiny Shrimps) followed by a debate on fight against LGBTQIA+ discrimination in sports and concluded with a cocktail reception.
More than 70 guests were part of the occasion.
