The French Embassy in Fiji hosted a Art Fusion evening with Jack Eastgate at the Alliance française of Suva on Thursday 08 August, 2024. The event provided an opportunity for Jack to complete the artwork he had started during the Bastille Day celebrations. Guests included fellow musicians and artists.

On 08 August, 2024, the French Embassy in Fiji team hosted a farewell cocktail for the departing Deputy Head of Mission, Mrs.Laurence Brattin-Nerrière who would conclude her mission in Fiji on August 28, 2024. The event was held at the French Residence. More than 60 guests from the government, diplomatic corps, public and private sectors were part of the event.

The French Embassy in Fiji hosted a Fabric Painting Workshop led by Ms. Angie Rakai-Niumataiwalu. Twelve women from various villages were given the chance to master 10 fabric painting techniques which will allow them to train over 100 vulnerable women in their villages and enabling them to earn a living.
