Bringing our pacific nations together, love our beautiful Polynesians cultural performances thank U for capturing this & sharing to the world 🇨🇰 proud to be a Kuki Airani
The part where the Marshall Islands delegates hyped up the crowd and made others waved their flags and danced from that heartfelt speech should be in your highlight vid
It's so beautiful to see this festival take place. Many decades ago foreign nations divided our pacific islander peoples. So, it's beautiful to watch all of us come together again. It shows how much more we have in relation to our pacific islander brothers and sisters than with the foreign nations that came to divide us.
The Kuki Airani put their Maohi cousins to shame with their explosive opening number🔥🔥🔥 Meitaki Mataa‼️ The drumming, fastest and swings🤌🏾 As much as I love Ori Tahiti as a former dancer, I love Kuki drumming, and Ura is harder technique wise than Hura. Well done🙏🏾
Your words are like the Steel blade and the Canon of our Colonists that have their ideology and law that keep my people down and imprisoned. SHAME ! My people committed no crime.
… and Fiji holds a special place in my heart ❤️
they don't show it in the video, but the speech given by one of Fiji's delegates was quite powerful and emotionally charged

It wasn't their first time attending, but it's the first time they've sent so many people, approximately 300 indigenous people were sent to fest pac

I participated representing American Samoa in the Pacific Festival of the Arts hosted by Tahiti in 1980. Bring back memories. Beautiful Pacific people
Kiribati 🇰🇮
Why yall didn't show Marshall Islands performance??
Our Samoan tuiga looked heaps like the Taiwanese tuiga
‘Ia ora na, it’s not Pōrīnetia Farāni
it’s Mā’ohi Nui or Te Ao Mā’ohi because Pōrīnetia Farāni is just the translation of a colonial name
Mauri ora whanau
why didnt you include australia after the cook islanders?
Why should they?
How come Kiribati is the only Micronesian country y’all showed? Is it because they also reside in New Zealand?
Why no show for PNG?
❤❤❤
Oh there is my contry😅🇰🇮🇰🇮🇰🇮❤
Rapanui?? 🤔 I thought all y’all left to Aotearoa 100 years ago lol 😉
Mauri ora ❤❤❤❤
Bula and Aloha
