  • Testing deep pour resin to make dice without a pressure pot to see if the increased layer thickness (2"-4" vs the typical 1/8"-1/4") is better for larger dice. The mixture for this resin should be done by volume, not by weight as shown though densities are very similar.

I know this is 2 years plus from when you did this video. We had way better luck using pigments. Mica did ok, alcohol ink did ok but took more than the 72 hours to cure. We still don’t own a pressure pot but it’s always been fun making dice and chessboards with super clear

Also. Pls try this with alcohol ink as well. Thank you!

Will do, great idea. I also did a batch with some art 'n glow resin right after and the art 'n glow resin looks yellow compared to the clarity of this resin.

Did you just say it's by volume and did it by weight? :)) It's ok I am sure they have similar densities, but you never know with these resins, had surprises before.

Lol, I sure did (face palm), good catch. I went back and read the instructions and yes, it is by volume, not by weight as shown, though the densities are very similar.
