I believe if you have a license (since it’s bigger than 50cc) you can register the bike as long as it has working lights. It’s possible to make them street legal, just takes some extra work and money.
I'm from Jordan 🇯🇴. Oatman is a lot like the hundreds of small towns in my country, especially the ones up in the north-western heights of Ajloun and down in the Jordan Valley and along the east bank of the Jordan River.
This place is a vintage car lover's heaven! The roads and general terrain are a lot like those found in south-western Saudi Arabia. Last year, I took a fun little road trip from Jeddah to the town of Billasmar, about 50 miles north of Abha, to check out and buy a 1991 Toyota Cressida station wagon that eventually became my second daily driver along with my _other_ daily driver, a 1982 Peugeot 504 Familiale station wagon. The roads and scenery are very similar to those in your video.
This is a really cool video, the kind of stuff I've been doing around here in Kansas. On the dirt roads of course. We've done 60 miles a few times but I'm only getting about 50 miles to a gallon with just about the exact same 196cc build. Great video once again, I miss the desert. 👍
Very cool video David! You could never do that here in Iowa. Keep on keeping on sir! I love your videos and it makes me envious of what you can do where your at! Watching from the fun hater state of Iowa!! 👍📽🇺🇸
Fun Fact: Most Beef Jerky sold in America is made from horse or donkey meat. We just witnessed a little bit of Cannibalism. 😁 This channel has everything, I swear. The greatest thing to ever happen to TH-cam! I can't wait for the video of the Ride-Out to the strip club.
Ok sooo my carb I installed probably has an air leak. I adjusted... just makes it worse so I'm taking it to my mini motor mechanic. Ugh. I'm not a mechanic. My wife on the other hand is from camp verde. Never heard of oatmeal AZ. Goal now... next year. I wanna ride, race and endure. I'll probably visit black66 before then.
What an awesome trip! I'm in the southern tip of Canada, we can't do that here, the Provincial Police (State Trooper equivalent ?) would have pulled me over a dozen times, confiscated my bike and arrested me twice if I tried that. Edit...I was waiting for you to say you used a fuel mileage cheat!
is this the start of a Mini "ADV" bike series? are you prepping for big adventures that are normally done on Yamaha Tenere and BMW GS's along with Africa twins and Norden 901's? (I hope so) just suit up properly, armoured riding jackets pants boots & gloves... you need to bounce off the rocks, roll and slide along the road at 60mph and be able to get up laugh about not having a scratch. And NOT be flown to the nearest hospital!
Nice! Thanks for taking us along. Did you make any changes to the bike for the trip? Didn't that bike have a Jugg on it? I would have pulled the Jugg and used the stock driver.

You should be happy with that. It may just be topping out on power. If I had a Ghost and didn't want to open it up I would get a better carb right away.

@@all_falco9930 The 18/60 and 12/40 are the same ratio which is 3.33:1. This is why the speed and RPM were nearly identical. The 12/60 is 5:1 ratio. Better for takeoff but you run out of RPM. Hey Black, does your bike need a steering damper? Man you are all over the road seems like your handlebars almost get into a speed wable at times. Hope you are safe.

there's always some Ass deliberately spoiling the trip... 60 mile trip... basically 100km (97km to be a little more accurate) My 212, I have no idea what it uses per recorded distance. My 49cc 2 stroke scooter/moped would use. 4.7litres per 100km at 50 to 55km/h and the 250cc motorcycle would use 3.1litres at 100km/h (yes the motorcycle uses way less gas than the moped, while doing twice the speed) I'd be interested to know how much a minibike uses, and the average speed too, I hope you tell us!
Ive got 2 identical doodlebug framed minis, both with 212s modified in the exact same way. Both are running wheelie bars. One has a torq-a-verter which started straight chinese but since been upgraded with a bunch of genuine comet parts. The other is running a Hilliard inferno centrifugal clutch. The whole purpose was to directly compare the differences between each final drive system. Gearing is optimized for each setup but by no means similar on each mini. Both bikes run pretty close in the 1/8. CVT bike has run 9.10@ 68 and the centrifugal bike has run 8.90s@74. The CVT bike is on the wheelie bars for the first 150 feet sometimes as far as 300 feet (!). The centrifugal could easily be run without wheelie bars but for consitency i keep the bars on both. The cam is same in each mini, im gonna call the grind by NX their "cheater cam" and leave it at that. When playing around on the street, a certain way you roll the throttle on the centrifugal bike from a roll/cruising speed it will sucdenly loft the front wheel so fast it will scare you. The CVT bike will simply pick up the front by snapping the throttle at any speed 30mph or below, sometimes even higher. Its been an interesting comparison so far, had a lot of fun. Which one do i prefer? Not sure i love 'em both.
@@Black66 I understand that. Is there any chance you could organize some back roads and trails type ride in the area? I would definitely be down for that.
Are the cops just lenient there to mini bikes, side by sides and atv’s being on the roads in traffic? Or are these registered for the road in your state. Wish I could do this in my state. Only on atv access roads at 10-15mph can we ride with out the fear of being pulled over. Great excursion guys and beautiful sites to see. Don’t think I’ve ever seen a donkey eat jerky!😂🫏
Fun stuff! In Washington State, mini bikes are illegal on the street. Especially unregistered, unlicensed, and uninsured. My state sucks. LOL
